00:33medium to long term. During the visit, Sanchez sought to strengthen economic ties with Beijing,
00:38particularly after trade threats from United States President Donald Trump. Those threats came
00:44in the wake of Spain's refusal to allow American military bases on its territory to be used for
00:50potential strikes against Iran.
