00:00Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision on Thornton Road in Bradford.
00:07It happened on Saturday 11 April at 10.17 in the morning.
00:11Despite receiving medical attention, a 71-year-old woman, who was a passenger in a taxi, was pronounced dead at
00:19the scene.
00:20The 72-year-old male driver of the grey Toyota Prius taxi was arrested at the scene on suspicion of
00:27causing death by dangerous driving.
00:29He was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
00:34Officers from the major collision inquiry team are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam
00:42footage to come forward.
