00:12He set off from Weatherby Police Station at 5am calling in at Ottley, Pudsey, Morley, Rothwell, Garforth, Killingbeck, Stainbeck and
00:21Leeds Central before finishing his Mammoth Challenge at Leeds District HQ on Ellen Road at 10pm.
00:29Fellow officer PC Ben Mayher also took on the unique ultramarathon but unfortunately had to withdraw part way through due
00:36to injury.
00:37Temporary Inspector Addyman was supported throughout the day by his sister, colleagues and members of the public, many of whom
00:43came out to cheer him on as he progressed through the district.
00:47The 100k run formed part of a wider year-long fundraising commitment for the Thin Blue Line charity,
00:53with Temporary Inspector Addyman undertaking the ambitious challenge of running 2,026 miles over the course of 2026, which is
01:02the equivalent of running from Leeds to North Africa.
