00:09We kind of get food, sit in the parking lot and just watch anime. That's all we've been doing.
00:40What's up? My name is Adrian Lyles. This is Declan O'Ready and we're here in Chicago, baby.

01:04So, everything's feeling good. I'm feeling good. This is great.
01:08Welcome to the driver's area, baby. This is the front.
01:11Normally, we've got like Andy and David. David's TM-ing for us. Andy's doing our sound and all this.
01:17David's gone right now, but Andy's here and Andy's been driving.
01:20So, Declan's been chilling right here. This is kind of his space. His coffee's there.
01:24This is a little gift that we got back in, where was that? Denver?
01:29Yep. In Denver.
01:32And initially, before this, you were just kind of staying awake with Andy and like keeping him up.
01:38I kind of like lock into my own world.
01:41And like back here, I had my computer and I was just gaming for a while.
01:45But, now we've got things different. We thought we were going to have a TV.
01:50And then we got the van and we didn't have a TV.
01:53So, we bought a monitor and we got some gaff tape. I don't know how safe this is.
01:58But we got some tape. Taped it to the window. This blanket goes over the window.
02:04Man. Wait. We like tape the iPad over the map. And we hook it up and we watch shows.
02:10This right here. Only when we're not driving, I sit in between here.
02:16And we kind of like, we've been doing this thing. We don't like to go and then drive with food.
02:22We kind of get food, sit in the parking lot and just watch anime. That's all we've been doing.
02:27Declan really tries to keep us healthy. On the first tour that we did together, he was like,
02:32No, we need to have real meals. We haven't really been getting that luxury because we've been kind of just
02:36booking it from state to state.
02:39We've had Wendy's and Chick-fil-A. A lot. Oh, and like Starbucks every day. We got some Starbucks gift
02:44cards.
02:44You had your first Clover's. I did! I had Clover's last night. I had never had that before.
02:49I got a sourdough. I got pretzel bites. I got a mint shake. It's all kind of blending together though
02:56to me.
02:57Like all the food stuff. I'm just like, as long as I get something, I'm good.
03:00But we've, I feel like we've been living off of gas station snacks. You'll see in a second.
03:05But like, Declan's been putting me on sunflower seeds. And we've just been kind of like Starbucks, Chick-fil-A,
03:11Wendy's, and gas station snacks.
03:15I've been eating a lot of candy. I'm feeling it.
03:17So Andy, the guy who's been driving for us, he's put us onto this record by a band, Ponderosa.
03:24That was a crazy, like, kind of fun listen. We, we did a, one night of just album after album.
03:31Yeah. We were listening to all kinds of just everything. Just throw everything on the queue.
03:35Yeah. And then, once we got this set up going, um, I've never watched an, an anime before.
03:42So, these guys put me onto, two, like, great ones.
03:47Really cool. Andy, Andy's big anime guy. I'm big anime guy. And so we've been bonding over that.
03:52But Declan, he's like, watched, like, like, you've seen Naruto.
03:55Yes. You know? But we're like, we gotta put him on a peak.
03:57We watched all of solo leveling in, what, a day? Two days?
04:01Yeah, two days. And now we're, like, I think two episodes away from being done with the first season of
04:05JJK.
04:06Yeah. Which has been great. So.
04:08I don't know where we're going, I think we're doing Shangri-La Frontier next.
04:10That's what Andy's been wanting to do. So, while we're moving, usually,
04:14but first it was, like, Adrian in the back, he's got his, his AirPods in.
04:18Yeah. And he's kind of, like, doing his own thing.
04:20But then, once we got started on the anime, what we do is, like, when we're not parked,
04:26we pull this down, and then we hang an iPad over here, and Andy kind of just, like, walks in.
04:32And then we just, and then we just watch TV on the iPad as we just fly down the freeway.
04:38And that's, because we're chasing two buses on this tour, so we're, like, tomorrow we have a ten hour drive.
04:43Yep. It's nuts.
04:44We've been leaving shows and doing, like, three hour drives after shows each night.
04:48So, but we've been, we've been feeling, oh, here's the gaff, dude. Here it is, bro.
04:53This is crazy. This is crazy. But yeah, we've got everything.
04:57I don't know how they've gotten this to stand up. I actually haven't looked at it.
04:59What is this to? Is this to the, to the mirror? I think it's, uh, to this.
05:04Jesus Christ. Jesus. Yeah.
05:07We've been going to the gym. Andy's big gym boy. So, we've literally been, yeah, this is Declan's.
05:14Been got some creatine. But what we've been doing is, after shows, on our drives to the next venue,
05:20we stop at, like, a Planet Fitness, and we get day passes, and Andy's been killing us.
05:24Yeah. My shoulders hurt. My shoulders hurt.
05:27We've been doing, like, a routine every day. We have a, we have a whole workout routine. Today's chest.
05:32Oh, is that? Oh. Yeah. So, we're going to be, we're going to be going, after the show, to a
05:37Planet Fitness,
05:38and then we're going to go eat as much as we can. Yeah. And then, we'll go to the hotel.
05:43We've been dedicated to the lift. And when I say we, not me. They've been dedicated, but I've been like,
05:48I'm not going to sit in the car. Yeah. So, I've been doing it. I've been doing it.
05:51The, the gyms in the hotel aren't enough for them. But you're keeping up. It's good.
05:57Yeah, whatever, bro. Whatever. But yeah, no, it's been cool. I created this little pit section.
06:03This, the, the driver's seat is heavily used, dude. Heavily used. We've been up here.
06:08This is my spot. Me and Declan sometimes, but since David's been gone, Declan's been up there.
06:15So, I've been, like, monopolizing this back area. And, man, I love it back here.
06:21I, before we got on the anime thing, before we put the monitor up, I have this, this computer
06:26that we've been hooking up to this power bank over here. Dude, I've been fast traveling these drives.
06:33I, I play Stardew Valley, and I, I swear, ten hours, I put headphones on, I disappear. I disappear.
06:39They were like, uh, I, I don't remember what day it is, but you guys were like, yo, like, you
06:44locked out on us.
06:44Where'd you go? Yeah. And I just, like, sit back here and I game and I listen to music.
06:48Um, I've got some snacks back here. I'm, I'm protecting from, like, how bad this area looks right now.
06:54Um, but it's, like, all of the miscellaneous stuff that we collect from each menu kind of goes in this
06:59seat,
06:59and I just, like, leave it here. But now I've been locked in on the anime, so I have, I've
07:03been engaging.
07:04I've been engaging. It's so fun to maneuver back here. I wish, I don't wish, we have a lot of
07:09merch, which is great.
07:10We're selling merch, that's cool. But there's so much space back here that we could totally use for something.
07:16It's kind of, like, weird. Oh, it's because the stuff's in the venue. It's, like, it's weirdly empty back here.
07:20But, we've got this cooler right here, because we don't eat all the stuff on the Ryder, you know?
07:24And, um, a lot of this is actually stuff that Declan and Andy just bought.
07:29Some, like, energy drinks, some protein shakes.
07:32But on the Ryder, we got, man, we got Fanta, we got Gatorade.
07:36We try to, we throw some fruit in there. We got strawberry, we got watermelon, we got raspberries, chocolate-covered
07:41pretzels.
07:42They never make it back. Nope. They never make it back, dude. They never make it back.
07:46Yeah. Um, an entire rotisserie chicken. Um, that's for Dave.
07:53And I've never seen it make it back. They've been doing this, like, new meta, this, like, peanut butter and
07:58jelly sandwich thing, where we ask for peanut butter and jelly and bread.
08:01And we've had a lot of that. I've had one peanut butter and jelly sandwich this entire run.
08:07But, um, it's a lot of candy back here. It's a lot of candy back here.
08:13Dude, really obscure take. Bro, baby bottle pops, dude. Andy and Declan have been making so much fun of me.
08:20These are fire. I always saw these when I was a kid, and I was like, this is dope, but
08:25my mom would let me have candy.
08:26But now, we on the road, and I'm getting every stop we go. Declan, please, please don't. Don't do it.
08:33And I do. Every time. Every time. Um, they didn't have it once. I did a little- I've just
08:38been getting, like, the weird interactive candy that I never got when I was a kid.
08:43So I got Juicy Drop. I had another thing. I got these, like, power bars. I never eat them. I
08:50don't like the protein stuff. It's nasty.
08:54Vitamins. Thanks, Mom. Stay healthy. She made me take these. But they're good. They're good. Um.
09:01I got a lot of jewelry that I forgot to put in a bag. And a lot of these bracelets
09:05that these really nice people have been making for us.
09:08This one says Way Down. And that's one of my songs. I noticed you probably can't even see it. But
09:12it says Way Down on it. Man.
09:14Um. And yeah, Andy's been stealing my headphones. So back here I have the headphone case.
09:20But other than that, we're rocking a pretty modest setup is what I'm realizing right now.
09:25We cleaned up. It was a mess. It was bad. It was bad. I'm talking sunflower seeds. They spilled out
09:31somewhere. They're all over the seat.
09:34I don't even- I don't know why a belt is in here. My belt is here. I've been looking
09:38for this belt. And it's here.
09:40Um. I- I- Come on. This came from a venue, I think. We bought some pillows. We were
09:50really- We were really weighing the options of decorating this van at Walmart.
09:55We decided against it. But I got some pillows. I got a blanket. We've been- We've been chilling. We've
10:00been chilling.
10:01This is like the last- This is so much nicer than the van I was in the last tour.
10:05I was in- We were in like some Chrysler rental van.
10:08Which is like, you know. And then the first tour I was on, we were on a bus. Which-
10:14But this is good. This is good.
10:17Oh, bro! It's like clothes I've been looking for.
10:21This is the back of the van- Normally this is full. This is normally completely full. All of our
10:26gear is in the venue right now.
10:27There's so many jackets- Like I've been looking for these pants.
10:31I wore these like the first day and I guess I put them back here.
10:35Uh, these are some of- These are Davids.
10:39Our memory of David. He's coming back tomorrow.

10:58Like, Andy and Declan have been really spearheading. They've got the system, you know.
11:05Um, so much so, that I'm almost unaware of it.
11:09But all I know is, I walk out with my two real heavy suitcases and I put them right at
11:13the edge.
11:14I'm so surprised this door closes every night.
11:16But, we've got what? Dex guitars.
11:19Yeah. So we've got like an in-ear rack case that sits down here.

11:23And then we've got our split and playback cases that sit on top of it.

11:27And then we've got a double N-key guitar case that just sits kinda where Adrian is right now.

11:32And then we've got, um, a bunch of suitcases. That's pretty much it.
11:36We're so, dude, we're so modest.
11:39Yeah.
11:39It's so relaxed. It's so chill in here, man.
11:42We did pack light. Except for me. I packed like everything in my closet.
11:45Um, but yeah man, we've been, we've been, it feels like home in here.
11:49I like, love getting in here. I wish we didn't have as much stuff.
11:54Because this could be awesome in the back. We could have the monitor taped right there.
11:58We should really knock some of this merch down. Build like a tent in the, in the back of this.
