00:04He's such a kind of luminary, visionary, positive force in music.
00:09And he's almost like a philosopher.
00:11He was kind of intrigued by the symmetry of the tuning.
00:14And this is something I hadn't really even thought that much about myself before he pointed it out to me.
00:19But the thing with this tuning is, anything you play on one side, so say you play this.
00:25This string here is like a mirror.
00:27And if you flip it, it's actually the same on the other side.
00:31He got excited and was like, look, why don't I build you a prototype?
00:34And I was so blown away.
00:36I was so thrilled at this.
00:37I was like, I can't believe it.
00:38All these shapes in my head can be real.
00:40And so he built me this guitar, which is a six string neck with five strings.
