00:32for you so far it's doing good uh we just finished practice i'm uh i'm at treatment right now so

00:38just uh you know we have treatment meetings in a little bit and then finish off and then
00:43headed dc how has that uh the the experience of how things are with the ufl where everybody stays
00:50in the same area you fly to the city you play and do you become friends with a lot of
00:56guys
00:56on the other team as well i really it's like it's kind of like uh several territories you have
01:03one wing and they have the other wings um i know just some people on different teams but that's
01:08about it everybody else is just opt so playing i'd be weird um seeing them is just weird but it's
01:17a
01:17cool experience it's very different can you explain that bmitch for those that are not up to speed and
01:22how the ufl is operating right now yeah everybody everybody lives in what is it all it's in texas
01:27right literally everybody yeah everybody lives so all the players coaches yeah centralized location
01:34workout train practice and then to save fly fly the players and the teams to the city to play the
01:41games
01:41is it every do you all fly the same airplane same airplane so one team will be in the front
01:47and
01:47then the other team will be in the back and that's to save money so basically for me it's more
01:54cheaper
01:54to have everybody in one area instead of um you don't have exactly right cities don't have to build
02:01and more yeah more uh people to operate so you got your first interception last game and uh
02:09how was that experience and uh when is the next one coming i really should have two uh i really
02:17should i really shot a pick six but it's just more second guessing because it's my you know i've
02:22played football in the year um but so i'm just getting my feedback under me and to trust my my
02:28instincts
02:28more but you know the first one felt good um it's always good to get a pick early but you
02:33know that
02:34was just everybody's like oh that's just who threw that ball and it's just like a one a gifted one
02:39so i'm not tripping about it it's still a pick it's still on the books but it was a good
02:43feeling
02:43it was a good feeling a good one how has it been though you say you hadn't played in the
02:47year you
02:48getting getting your feedback under you how has it how has it been getting back out there and feeling
02:53you starting to feel your old self again yeah for sure uh you know the confidence is you know
02:59building building each day and coach blake is just getting the confidence to go out there and
03:03to make mistakes and you know it's an imperfect game play by imperfect people at the end of the day
03:09so you know just getting my feedback on the mission is getting back back out there again
03:14as y'all get prepared for the next game what is it that you need to be concerned about with
03:18your
03:18opponent uh to not give them hope right now yeah not give them hope at all uh right now they
03:26can
03:26beat birmingham a very good team so they uh i feel like they can go on the run right now
03:30but at the
03:31end of the day we just gotta uh do our 111 and then we'll take care of the business i
03:36know that
03:36obviously you're you're focused on where you're at right now and doing the job you have but
03:41everyone wants to make it to the nfl is there do you think a viable path for ufl players to
03:47make it
03:47to the nfl exactly uh this is a great opportunity um this is a pro league there is still nfl
03:54guys i
03:55played at the nfl level down here in this league and this is just another time to get more film
03:59to
04:00show that they can still compete at a high level what what is a what do you think is the
04:05more
04:05underrated part of the league given that it is a pro league with some really good players who are
04:09just outside the edges of the nfl um i don't really see no like negative part about this league like
04:18a lot of guys right now can play in nfl um it's just about the opportunity they get um maybe
04:24they're
04:25injured um or just you know not doing the things they were doing or outside of football that uh
04:33how to pay consequence for so like there's a lot of guys in this league that can ball right now
04:38in
04:38an nfl pro level what and there's been some people that have gone from i know from there to it
04:43i know
04:43well i mean you know the ufl xfl xfl too it's been a sort of a evolving situation there with
04:50this
04:50concept of spring football but you're saying gabriel it's definitely a tick above college ball even at
04:57the high high level you played at rice this is pro ball which is not college yeah i i feel
05:04like this
05:05is a good opportunity for me especially coming from rice where they say we don't play no competition
05:09and so this is like another step of like hey there's no excuse this time but yeah
05:16good stuff good stuff there all right good well uh i'm looking forward to seeing you out there

06:21when we lost sean taylor yeah so obviously super traumatic for everybody yeah but obviously close
06:27family as well and to think you know six-year-old gabriel taylor had to uh handle that heavy weight
06:33in life it's a tough thing but it's great to see these playing pro football and um let's see if
06:39he
06:39can wind his way and make it to the nfl there you go i watch a little bit of spring
06:44football uh i think
06:46it fills a definite niche i think it is a great actual entertainment value if you're going to go to
06:52the games obviously the fans that go to the games here they love it they're rowdy they're rowdy and
06:58rowdy yeah and it's and what's cool is that it's such an intimate venue you're seeing a a product in
07:06tackle football at a high level so close yeah right on top of you you really feel like wow this
