00:03after years away I've finally returned to the farm have you ever seen anything cuter than this

00:10the divorce is done and I'm back home and I'm reclaiming my life I moved down here to Georgia

00:19in July me and Tegan broke up it's hard to move on I really truly feel like there's

00:27unfinished business we're going to the farm we're gonna talk about some of the things that happened

00:38around the wedding there are so many assumptions made about both of us it did some damage the night

00:45for our wedding supposed to be a joyful time celebrating the last night it's black it was

00:51actually the hardest night of my life for me from the time that you two said I do it was

00:56done I

00:57think there's a lot still to figure out and I think I've seen too many tears from Lydia to think

01:04that

01:04everything's okay one more thing um we are here at the farm to have a conversation with the whole

01:27family there's been hurt there's been misunderstanding there's been miscommunication but just hoping to

01:36talk through that come to understanding and move on the biggest thing that hurt us was everything that

01:43was said about us and not to us and how it could have just been resolved if concerns would have

01:50been

01:50brought to us any concerns you have please come to us because if I find out that there's still

01:57gossiping about Zack and I I will not tolerate it like the situation with the wedding colors wait

02:08what was going on oh the wedding colors I'll just say it all so there's nothing left in the dark

02:14I hope

02:16this isn't like totally directed at me but I guess I know it is she wanted a hunter green for

02:24wedding

02:24colors Zack said oh no it has to be blue because I have a blue suit that I wore to

02:32another wedding and I

02:34really pop in that blue suit that was one example that I chose to share about a red flag that

02:41I saw

02:41like I didn't feel the need to talk to Lydia and find out if it really went the way it

02:48did because

02:48I had somebody that was there that told me I was leaning towards forest green because I had a dress

02:54that I really liked if it was forest green but that dress was another guy had bought me that dress

03:01so when we were talking about colors and I realized oh there's a connection to this dress from another guy

03:08in this color and everything I decided I'd want that my wedding so we went with makes good sense at

03:16least she's admitting that originally it was hunter green whereas the last time we talked about it she

03:22denied that it ever was she called me out on social media you know mom said whatever which just hurt

03:33so yeah that was that whole thing there no Zack is not controlling and that's why I was more than

03:37happy to lean towards a different color why do you think your mom didn't respond to you when you

03:46mentioned the wedding colors um I mean with my mom my mom and I think we're just growing our relationship

03:56um and I don't think that looks like a specific thing besides needing to spend more time together so

04:07gossip is one of the most toxic things that just goes around in this world and it's not okay

04:13and it destroys so if I find out that that's still going on and you guys aren't coming to us

04:19that's not going to be okay I agree with Lydia there's been times that there's so many triangles

04:26of people not talking because something's going on in their life and you're just like working around

04:31other people's feelings and then you're just spreading things intentionally or unintentionally

04:37just kind of eats at all the relationships slowly and I don't want that to happen I get that Lydia

04:44doesn't

04:44want us to gossip but the dynamics of a large family sometimes we're going to get together and

04:49say hey what do you think about this what do you think about that you know what do you think

04:53about

04:53Isaac peanut farming what do you think about Ethan moving down from Minnesota hindsight I feel like

04:59you two weren't the best communicators a lot of times Micah I don't know what we weren't the best

05:07community yeah and I feel like that's it's something we all all have to work on yeah we need to

05:12work on it it's kind of ironic that Mike is the one saying oh we need to work on communicating

05:17we

05:18need to communicate better when he's somewhere down in Florida none of us ever hear from him

05:23another one of the big problems is there's so many of us you might feel like you've communicated

05:28everything you need to but it was to one person and not 12. yeah we've never been like a family

05:35that

05:36talks about everything but I personally think a big reason for that was like when Joshua died

05:43it was such a tragic experience and so hurtful to everyone involved the whole family that like

05:52talking about it around mom specifically just was too heavy and so we just we didn't talk about the

05:58most challenging thing in our lives if you're not going to talk about the one thing that hurt the most

06:03that changed your life entirely it doesn't actually heal anything yeah there's just so many unique

06:11things about growing up in such a large family we'll just try to do better moving forward yeah for

06:21practice should we go around and tell people what they're terrible at and what they need to work on

06:24yeah let's do that okay Mariah you never clean your room

06:34Lydia you definitely need to work on getting up in the morning

06:40mom you're a really great planner and have lots of great ideas but you need to get better at

06:45narrowing them down and sticking to them

06:49there Micah I would love to hear from you more often Zach a little less on the let's go let's

07:01Ethan I think you're like probably one of the hardest working people I know but I also think you need

07:09to

07:11grow up a little bit sometimes all of us need to grow up a little bit it's like a season

07:19of new

07:32when Kim says since you said I do we've kind of accepted you into the family and

07:36you know we don't really have any concerns anymore I just think actions really speak louder than words

07:43and so I just hope that now that she said that it actually turns into action

08:05I love being home with my family I think it's good and important that Lydia gets out all of the

08:15how she's feeling and how what happened impacted her and how it hurt her and it was good that

08:22people express their concerns because I feel like my family usually doesn't want to particularly

08:28face a problem so we're just like I think it's fine we just clearly need to learn how to express

08:35our

08:35thoughts and feelings and without hurting each other but being able to to talk about it all together is a

09:08are shopping for wigs in Tallahassee I asked Ethan I was like you would love to come with me right

09:24as many wigs as I have outfits right really cool hey guys I want your opinion okay Ethan which one

09:40I don't know it's too soon to tell they do have different colors by the way uh-huh so yeah

09:50this part well so in the past I've shared um a little bit about my alopecia it's an autoimmune condition

10:00that causes hair loss when I was little it all fell out because I grew up now and then I'd

10:08get

10:08little spots but it was always something I could hide but I was still carrying some some winds from

10:14that I just have to figure out what to do about my hair I was really insecure about it and

10:29you know

10:29around Lydia's wedding it just started really falling out like like this like within a few weeks

10:38um it was all gone right now I wear synthetic I have one human hair wig and I like that

10:48one but

10:48it's glue and um I prefer yeah I was just wearing whatever I could find to cover my head and

10:55I told

10:56my mom I was like I'm gonna have to like shave my head and she was like oh who do

11:00you want to do that

11:01and I was like Ethan honestly and I told him what was going on and he was like he just

11:08was like of course and

11:09then he shaved my head and um you know it's just like sitting there bawling my eyes out and it

11:15was really

11:16really hard at first for a while but um just having Ethan do that it was just like very healing

11:23very sweet very

11:25like I just I just I don't know it was what I needed in that moment um what you thinking

11:31you quiet

11:31back there Ethan he's always quiet he's always quiet sometimes if you just want to hear him talk you got

11:37to piss him off a little bit yeah Mariah she said she has something to show me I remember if

11:45it was hair

11:45extensions or a hat or something but she took it off and she was like I've been losing my hair

11:52for

11:53quite a few months now I just want to shave it off but I would like you to do it

11:57I was like well if

11:59you want that yeah I'll do that for you it was emotional because she you know I can't imagine how

12:04hard that is she was crying and um I don't know why she wanted me to but she did so

12:12I did it for her

12:15what do you think well that's my favorite one so far this one yeah I agree yeah I agree you

12:22he told me I was still beautiful and kissed me on the top of my head people don't see that

12:29side of

12:29him but I sure have he really helped me he really really helped me in that time of my life

12:36really needed I think the baby hairs make it look more natural yeah I was trying to see if they'll

12:43get end up getting in my eyes a lot because I don't have any eyelashes either so hairs are always

12:47like

12:48getting stuck in my eyes I feel content with the way I am now it was like okay I guess

12:57what I really

12:58should do right now is my opportunity to focus on what's important and do a little inner work instead

13:03of being so upset about cosmetic side of it okay so let's try this one on I really feel like

13:10this is gonna be a winner okay we gonna see I've shared some pictures on social media whenever you're

13:18ready you can take it off but I've never done like just taking my wig off in a public public

13:24place before

13:35Ken and I are at Georgia's tonight celebrating the next chapter of my life

13:40I don't mind having a few drinks and letting my hair down if Lydia's there

13:45but with the tension that's been there with the divorce I just feel like it might be awkward

13:58I don't want to be on the end or the front doesn't matter to me me and Isaac have always

14:05good with communication but I think like maybe the past few weeks the communication part has kind

19:03the meeting with the family went really good but there's still obviously a lot of growth necessary

19:08especially with my mom and I and I wanted to be her server because I wanted to show my mom

19:14that I'm here and I know we've had our differences over the years and there's been hurt and confusion but

19:23I'm not going anywhere

19:28I think this would be just the next step I can take to keep moving forward

19:38the talk with Lydia and Zach about the wedding and all of that was really good and productive

19:43but I feel like there's still some underlying tension

19:53ultimately I did what I did and I said what I said because I care about Lydia I love her

19:58and I was hesitant about her marrying somebody that she really didn't know

20:08so since you know this is your next chapter party what does the next chapter really look like for you

20:13yeah well that's a good question I don't know it's just me trying to figure out the rest of my

20:18life

20:18but I know where I want to figure it out and I know who I want to figure it out

20:22with

20:24okay yeah

20:27it feels amazing to have some stability after four years five years whatever of moving around

20:35to different properties and then trying to live on a boat I feel really good about where my life is

20:42right now and where it looks like it might be headed I love Ken and I love that we're together

20:48and I love

20:49that we're at the farm I think I've moved five times in the last four years I'm never moving again

20:58well folks we have a little special surprise for you tonight we have decided to do the roast of Kim

21:06my friends decide to start roasting me and I'm just a little bit nervous I'm pretty good at taking a

21:16joke

21:17but with roasting there's always potential for somebody to be a little too mean welcome in Lydia

21:26I am a little worried about Lydia I mean I don't mind having a few drinks and let my hair

21:32down if

21:32Lydia's there but with the tension that's been there with the divorce and how she's kind of sided with

21:39Barry I just feel like it might be awkward

21:49well without further ado I'm gonna introduce Lenny watch out Ken my friends start roasting me and I

21:59don't know what they're gonna say how bad are the roasts gonna get it is really nice to see the

22:06system that you have here and I know that I'm looking forward to seeing what the next chapter

22:27a few months ago Barry and I met up to just acknowledge that our divorce was finally over well it

22:34was good

22:35I've been having this last talk with you did you get me a glass or a bottle there's a bottle

22:40you okay thank you so he didn't actually buy me a bottle okay whatever the full thing the full bottle

22:49you deserve it I could definitely say that Barry was a little dry and now my cup overflows thank you

22:58and now we have a

22:59special surprise for you so now the roast can really begin we've been very nice so far Ethan take

23:10the podium really there's like a thousand things I could rest but I want to be allowed back at the

23:18farm when it's done but she's probably one of the only women in the state of Georgia that has more

23:29ATVs

23:30than children she has 10 children Kim Plath has more brain power than all of us put together in this

23:40room to come with ideas but she never falls through with any of them

23:45Preach it brother

23:49I'll just say that I you know very thankful that you're my mother and life is is hard sometimes you

23:57know but

23:58it's a lot better when you have someone like you

24:02there's a period of time where I didn't have my mom in my life and it affected me but I

24:08know it

24:08probably affected her more so it's good to have a peaceful good relationship now it's good to see

24:15her and know she's there that's all I'll say

26:51I think something I'm realizing at this dinner is when mom and Ken first started dating it was all

26:58too quick all too sudden and I couldn't understand it and I vocalized that to her at the same time

27:05wanted my mom to express that you know she accepts Zach but I'm kind of realizing I haven't really done

27:11that with Ken as her daughter it's so easy to just see the flaws and see everything through the flaws

27:21hearing what her friends think of her and how her friends see her um helps me see that in her

27:28too

27:29so I guess I should take my own advice to heart and tell her that

27:38sometimes you gotta do something crazy yeah anything on your mind

27:45he's got faces if he is not comfortable it's and he's just sitting there feeling okay it's a

28:15I was walking along a lonely road headed out of Alabama

28:22went up over the hill in the long clean Cadillac this is my buddy Austin I think I've known you

28:31for maybe about five years but since he's back around we've hung out there about every Friday

28:36night for the past two and a half three months and we just enjoy each other's company yeah that

28:40one that was that one that was a lot better than I remember that's good this is not worse

28:47he's also very honest I am very honest yeah exactly that was a good one

28:53what's the story behind that song well it's kind of written from a place of pain right like somebody

29:04leaving everything trying to start over as the song goes on the guy finds out that you can just

29:09run from your problems you know what were you going through to have all that come about oh that was

29:16on

29:17one Olivia left I got your hand yeah depression is a real thing and I definitely struggled a lot with

29:25it

29:25music helps a lot but also sometimes music is very painful too

29:36is anything on your mind

29:42he's got faces if he is not comfortable it's

29:48he's having a good time it's laughing and everything and he's just sitting there

29:53feeling okay it's a or he does that yeah got many faces buddy

30:06have you started writing songs about anything like new lately here I started writing a song about

30:15Teagan a few months ago really what's it about

30:21what's it about

30:26I don't know I don't really think I'd want to play it

30:31I mean do you still have feelings for Teagan

30:36yeah I mean I guess I do

30:41I have a lot on my heart and mind but you know I can't express it

30:48I definitely think my mom and dad and all of my siblings we just didn't really learn to communicate

30:54very well even not like

30:59communicating what you feel or whatever but just actual communication

31:02you know that definitely has not helped me any in my personal life

31:08I've had to learn that the hard way

31:10but that's okay I'm still learning working on it

31:14I was dating somebody before too and I thought it was going to be it too

31:18but it just wasn't and as the time went by I really really missed that person and

31:25there will always be that place in your heart for them but it's the part of figuring out

31:31what you got to do to be okay with not having them and once you figure out that you're okay

31:37with it

31:38life gets easier

31:39I don't know sometimes when you get in these these points in life it's like you got to do something

31:46or you'll get crazy yeah they still have a place in their heart

31:50you can never get rid of it and it could be the same way for her to you

31:55it's just in this time of life it wasn't right

31:59and one day it might come back but if it don't

32:02it wasn't meant to be and that's just something us

32:06men we have to be okay with

32:07with Tegan I definitely miss a lot of things you know doing stuff together making memories together

32:17the biggest thing really is she truly was my best friend like that I'd ever had

32:23not being able to talk to that person or you know spend any any time and then you're just thinking

32:31all the time about how quickly time goes by and every day every minute you can never get back

32:41whenever you feel like you're at low point I guess always keep yourself surrounded with the ones that love you

32:45the most I reckon

32:46keep your good pals close with you

33:41I'm waiting for Ethan and Isaac and Kaelin

33:45Isaac and Kaelin had the idea to do a corn maze

33:49I guess some people like the adrenaline that they get from being scared and I can't do that

34:02I don't like this I don't like this I just saw someone that has like a mask on

34:18I just adore Kaelin she's so sweet she's so beautiful she just has such a good presence about her

34:26I have never seen one single red flag from her

34:31I need Isaac to get here so I can stand behind you

34:33you just talked to Isaac he said he was still in the fields

34:37me and Isaac I've actually been together for about a year now

34:40um and I would say that we're doing pretty good

34:42me and Isaac have always been really good with communication
