00:20Because the Yankees probably sold, if I'm guessing, 35,000, 36,000 tickets to today's game and tomorrow's game.
00:27I'm sure it's a ballpark fair estimate based on season tickets and what the expectation is.

00:35Do you tell the 36,000 people, many of them business people, hey, guess what?
00:40We don't think you can handle a little cold weather and some wind,
00:45so we're going to make you change your entire schedule for tomorrow and come three hours earlier.

00:53Maybe your kid can't come because of school or after school activities or you can't get a babysitter or whatever

01:00And the more I thought about it last night, I said to myself, well, I'm not knocking the Mets because

01:08I appreciate the fact that the New York Yankees do not treat their fans like they're soft.

01:17Mets fans, I guess, are just softer than Yankee fans.
01:21The New York Mets don't think that Mets fans can handle 45 to 50 degree temperatures, a little wind.

01:44Whereas the Yankees are going, our fans are tough guys and tough women.
01:48They can handle 45 degrees.
01:50Plus, we got 36,000 people coming to the ballpark tonight.
01:54How rude would it be if we decided to change the start time?
