00:07are now just a game and a half out of first place behind Tampa.
00:11So for all the crying and moaning about, you know,
00:14they're losing two out of three to the Dodgers,
00:16and you're splitting with Tampa before the All-Star break,
00:20and, you know, what is this team, and can we trust Aaron Boone,
00:23and are we getting Stanton back, are we getting Judge back?
00:26The reality to me, Zach, is that this particular year,
00:31and this might not work last year, it might not work next year,
00:33but in this particular year, the American League just isn't very good,
00:38and it's not very deep with good teams, right?
00:42So is there a year, is there a way Yankee fans can convince themselves
00:47that Stanton never comes back, and let's deal with the reality,
00:51maybe Judge doesn't come back either,
00:53or maybe he's on the roster like in a Kirk Gibson manner,
00:57where if we need him for one game to swing the bat,
00:59you know, and tie a game with a home run.
01:01Yeah, that that's, I mean, that that's our expectation,
01:05not an everyday kind of thing.
01:07I still believe, and I'm not going to claim to be the biggest baseball expert
01:12and know the farm system, because I don't,
01:14but I still think this particular year,
01:18this Yankee team, with whatever Brian Cashman does,
01:22because he's going to do something at the trade deadline on August 3rd,
01:26is good enough to go to the World Series,
01:28and I'd love someone to convince me why they're not.
