16:12deal with this you just you just gotten a full-on trainer and i mean it looks like a guy

16:17stepped in a really cold water right no no it does not oh it's actually the the shells on that

16:37uh how was shooting this movie christopher nolan fantastic yeah yeah it was it was absolutely the
16:44the pinnacle of my entire career i loved every minute of it yeah i just loved it
16:51then you visited uh you visited on set yeah i did and um i'm a huge fan of chris's and
16:57uh you know
16:58it was one of those things where my kids never want to come to the set when i'm working they're
17:01like
17:01hey you guys we're doing a thing on the set and they're like no no i got school
17:06right now i get detention but uh they were really psyched to come visit this set they they my my
17:12metal child's really interested in actually reading the alien the odyssey and and we went there and it
17:18was really great i mean it was this incredible sort of like you know this is the way we the
17:23hollywood made movies and they were great epic in-camera david lean movies and chris is a really
17:28serious guy and somebody i admire i know you know believes the set's like a place to work
17:33it's not schmoozing whatever so i was really uh honestly grateful this is our uh it's a big show
17:38for us because we're following the nba on nbc and i was going to ask you if last time we
17:42had
17:43martha stewart on the show she said that you sat courtside and jalen brunson stepped on her toe
17:46and broke her toe uh i i've seen you guys courtside before if anyone ever uh fell on you or
17:53i went to i went to a lakers game uh with my son i guess last year and it was
17:58luca's like i think
18:00it's one of the first or second games that he was playing after the trade and uh i was pretty
18:05honored
18:05because he did come carry me into the stands knock into the guy next to me spilled all of his
18:10beer on
18:11me and kind of i don't know how you say this on you know national television but he was positioned
18:15in
18:15a way towards me where his big mean least attractive part was right in my face and i think
18:21they got some photos of that my son loved it yeah yeah he laughed i had i had a great
18:28experience in
18:292008 uh where the celtics were playing the lakers and i got yeah and i got tickets and uh through
18:36our
18:36agent and and was sitting there and uh mark walberg was had i got two seats mark got two seats
18:41and so
18:41we were sitting by each other and phil jackson the celtics went on a run and mark and i were
18:46next to
18:47the lakers bench like we had such incredible seats and we jumped up and we're you know probably a
18:52little boston a little obnoxious and phil jackson jumped called a timeout and turned and literally
18:58said you're gonna have to bleep this he goes sit down and shut the up to me and mark yeah
19:05yeah yeah
19:05phil jackson it was like and we were like like we're like we're like we're in the cool this is
19:12the
19:12history of the celtics lakers like we're like extras like we're like extras
19:15that was great it's so fun uh let's talk about the rip congratulations on this oh my gosh
19:22thank you thank you you two star together on screen uh tell tell tell about this story but by the
19:30way
19:30it's it's so many twists and turns and it's so thrilling and it's almost like you don't know what's
19:34going to happen who directed this it's joe carnahan who also wrote it and he spent a lot of time
19:40with
19:40this this team down in miami they're called the tactical narcotics team and they and they uh raid
19:45these houses and they seize money like like money that's kind of from ill-gotten gains you know like
19:51drug money or weapons but you know and they and they seize the money and um and and down in
19:57miami they
19:57have to count it on site and so this is based on inspired by something that really did happen where
20:02this team went in to hit a house thinking they were going to get you know 70 000 bucks or
20:06whatever
20:07was hidden there uh because they have these dogs that actually smell money yeah so they they they the
20:12dog you know they they got a tip on this house they went in the dog alerted that there was
20:17something
20:17in there they went in and there was over 20 million dollars in the walls of this house 20 million
20:2220 million dollars no and so this team now is in this house and they're kind of stuck there
20:28because they have to count it on site you have to count every dollar and they know that people are
20:32probably going to come back for it so so that's the kind of the premise of the movie um where
20:37these
20:38guys and it and it kind of tests their own you know the the the loyalties within the team because
20:42there's there are rumblings that there might be somebody corrupt there might be a bad apple in the
20:47in the gang and so that's kind of what the movie is you know it's loosely based on it's loosely
20:51based on
20:52and the real guys the real team we got to go work with them and go down to miami and
20:56what was that like
20:56great i mean just that anytime you do research like that i mean these are guys like part of
21:01what was really kind of first was like this great like you say it's a thriller it's a whodunit it's
21:05very kind of very kind of classic broback setup but it's a very modern take on it and but it
21:11depends
21:11on you really believing and investing in these people this team of of cops that go in there because
21:17it's not you know it's like somebody's the good guy and the bad guy is that we're all kind of
21:21it's about
21:21what happens with temptation how people turn on each other and not knowing who you can trust yes and
21:26you got to make those you know performances realistic as possible and joda really cool thing
21:30which not only brought us down there to meet them but also brought those guys up we shot uh
21:35in l.a and in new jersey and so all the real cops and detectives were in the movie like
21:41as
21:41so you really feel like a real cop when the guy next to you is a real cop and they
21:46were
21:46they were pretty good actors too it turns out i guess it's being undercover it's so the cast is
21:50fantastic teana taylor yeah amazing steven yon steven yon yeah yeah it's on netflix it's really
21:57really good yeah it's a it's a really really good guest until the end you're like what is going on
22:02i didn't know who i mean it was fantastic it's great uh and you also produced this yes uh film
22:07what the name of your company's artist equity artist equity can you explain to everyone kind of
22:11what you're doing with this this thing is basically you know netflix obviously streaming platform
22:15business is obviously changing there's been a lot going on and what we're kind of trying to do
22:20in the old days they were sort of you knew how a movie did and you could get bonuses based
22:24on the
22:24box office performance and what we wanted to do is try to adapt that model to what's happening on
22:28streaming to and um for a bunch of reasons but basically uh one of the thing that was important to
22:33us is we really believe that it's not just the cast and the writers and the directors but that the
22:37environment every single person involved that if they're committed to making the movie good it's very
22:42likely to be better it's really a collaborative of course art form and so um the structure that we
22:48created look you know the more people that watch it you know the more levels that will hit
22:51but the thing was important to us principally was it also includes you know 1200 uh crew members
22:56you know every you know painter stand by painter greensman camera and whatever it is
23:00exactly right yeah and so um good for you so the more you guys watch this movie not that we
23:06can
23:06suggest that you just leave it on unless you you're a good person we would never suggest that yeah
23:10i would never say that but i mean your actions will have a real impact and put it on loop
23:14and
23:15just play it and play i wouldn't say that i would know but if you have it won't happen to
23:19do that
23:19that happened crew members would make would make a lot of money just saying i'm gonna do it this
