48:35We checked with a local oceanologist at the university, and the current in this bay moves in a north-westerly
48:43direction, which means it would have carried Miss Mayhew's body diagonally,
48:49taking her from your bungalow here to where her body was discovered here.
48:54And with her clothes being left on the beach here, we'd all assume she swam in a straight line.
49:02Now, you had no idea where the currents would take Kira's body.
49:06So, you had to test it first, didn't you?

49:14And you threw it into the sea to observe which route it took, which was conveniently in a north-westerly
