00:00I have a soft spot for Huey. Thank you. Thank you. Starla and Annie. I mean like they have a
00:05really good heart and we want people with good hearts to succeed.
00:09The phenomenon that the boys has been has just been I'm sure a whirlwind for you. I'm curious what the
00:16most surreal thing you've got to do or has happened to you as a result of being on this show.
00:21I haven't very. The first thing that popped in my head was being in Brazil at CCXP and we came
00:28out on stage and people started chanting my name and there are 3,000 people in this crowd and I
00:33was like, what? I started crying. I mean I know that that's a very like sappy response to that but
00:41I was like little 10 year old me who so desperately wanted to be an actor would just kind of
00:47flip out over this situation right now.
00:50I'm in Brazil and this is the reaction. Yeah, that's a normal reaction. Congratulations on being a well-adjusted human
00:57being.
00:58Thank you. Pretty pretty normal. Thank you so much. You know, I think mine was different. It was a casual
01:05moment of onset in our chairs waiting between setups and just looking around and seeing the faces of these people
01:12who I was a huge fan of already.
01:15I was a huge fan of the show since episode one and I remember finishing the first episode and going,
01:20I want to be on a show just like that.
01:22Oh, my husband is a witness. I literally said that and then one day I was doing it.
01:28You manifested that shit. I'm so happy your dreams came true. Thank you. Thank you very much. Not everyone gets
01:34to say that in life and that's pretty spectacular.
01:37How does season five then up the ante from everything else that we've seen? Because I've only seen one episode
01:45so far and I'm glad because I don't want it spoil and I don't want to spoil it in this
01:49interview.
01:49Okay, we can do it. But how does it up the ante without giving time? I mean, we're trying to
01:55land a huge plane.
01:57Like, we're trying to land this thing after five years and I think like what the writers have done, which
02:03I think is really brave, you know,
02:04Kripke always said he wanted it to be a five-season show and the fact that we get to end
02:08it on our terms.
02:11And it makes, you know, a good story has a good beginning, middle, and an end. And if we let
02:16it drag on forever, it wouldn't be the punch that we're delivering in this season.
02:21And I mean, I think the writers got in a room and were really honest and really imaginative and like,
02:28of course, they're going to come up with some crazy cool.
02:31We're hoping to surprise people. We're seeing the theories, but we're hoping to still get some surprises in there.
02:37I love reading fan theories.
02:40Yes.
02:40So great. Are you happy with how things end for your characters? Again, without giving anything away. I don't know
02:47how it ends, but are you...
02:48That's a yes or no question, isn't it? That's just...
02:51I would just say I'm sad. I'm very satisfied. I think it's right and appropriate for her.
02:56Same.
02:56Yeah.
02:57Yeah.
02:57Yeah, I think they did a good job of like...
03:00Good job, guys.
03:01Yeah.
03:01Good job.
03:03Which is what people want to hear, right? When they pour their hearts into making these shows.
03:06You want everyone to be happy.
03:08Um, was there a character that you were rooting for from the start to come out on top?
03:15I have a soft spot for Huey.
03:18Starlight and Annie. I mean, like, they have a really good heart and we want people with good hearts to
03:25succeed.
03:27And to keep their humanity.
03:28Yeah.
03:29You know, for Huey to have the huge trauma that he had.
03:32Oh, my God.
03:33And to be a resistance fighter, right? Resisting the Supes.
03:36To stay human and not become the monster that he's trying to defeat.
03:40And were there any crazy moments in season five for you?
03:44Because, I mean, to film that you weren't on set that day and you're like, oh, my God.
03:48I don't... I can't believe we're doing... getting to do this today.
03:51Yeah. And there was some very challenging physical stuff for me.
03:55Yeah.
03:57That's all I'll say.
03:58That's all you can say about that.
03:59Right?
04:00And I was like, ooh, this is new. This is new challenge for me to do.
04:03So I keep it.
04:04No, no worries.
04:04There was, I think, some vulnerable days for me, for Sage.
04:08That was like, oh, because she was such a sphinx season four and so inscrutable in season five.
04:13We get to see more of her intentions, more of her inner working.
04:16So I couldn't believe that.
04:17And is there, with it kind of ending, I know this is my last question,
04:21is there anything or anyone in particular that you are just going to miss about this whole thing?
04:30Don't ask for words. Don't ask for any more words. Just...
04:34That was really nice.
04:36Because I felt you breathe and I was like, yeah.
04:38Yeah.
04:39I know. I mean, it's really...
04:40I mean, I will say that this crew is some of the hardest working crew
04:46who I think I've ever worked with.
04:48I think I can say that with absolute certainty.
04:51They work really hard.
04:53That was a cute moment, though.
04:54Love that.
04:55Love this show.
04:56I'm going to miss it.
04:57I'm going to miss the whole thing.
04:59It's been so wonderful.
05:00So thanks for bringing it into our lives.
05:01Well, thank you for watching.
05:04Thanks for giving us a job.
05:05With everything else, with season five.
05:08Bye.
05:08Bye.
05:09Bye.
