00:00How cool to be on a show that is topical, that takes on political issues, social commentaries, and I'm also
00:06in a superhero orgy.
00:08It's so lovely to see you ladies. I know this is the boys, but you are my girls.
00:11Thank you so much for saying that. Thank you so much.
00:14I've just adored you. I don't know how you even begin to bid goodbye to this.
00:20I don't either, I feel like, at this point.
00:22Yeah.
00:23I don't know how yet. I mean, it will absorb over time. I think it's just time.
00:29Time is the only remedy and the only, like, thing that can teach you how to properly say goodbye.
00:35Yeah.
00:36The good news is, is like, I feel like my coping mechanism is that there are so many spinoffs that
00:41even though we're not in those spinoffs,
00:43we know the world is still out there and happening and the universe is still shooting and, like, the Toronto
00:48winters and, like, for some reason that, like, cushions it.
00:52Yeah.
00:52We don't know how to say goodbye yet either, really.
00:54Yeah.
00:54How do you after eight years?
00:56But also, with the way things go now, in years, like, years and years' time, you could get a call
01:01up and be like, we're bringing back the boys.
01:03We're hoping for a movie or something.
01:05Exactly.
01:06Yeah, right?
01:06Yeah, yeah, right?
01:07It's never, it's never completely.
01:08Wouldn't say no.
01:09Wouldn't say no.
01:09Yeah, yeah, yeah, never completely over.
01:11But, like, thinking back over all of the seasons that you guys have done, has there been, like, one standout
01:17moment where you got on set and you're like, I can't believe that I'm filming this today.
01:21Like, I'm doing this.
01:22Yeah, hero gasping entirely for me.
01:24Oh, my goodness.
01:24For me.
01:24I'm so jealous you got to experience that.
01:26Yeah, I got to be honest, it was, like, it was such a funny, insane experience.
01:31And I remember, like, looking around and thinking, I don't know what this says about me, but I f***ing love
01:36my job.
01:37But also, like, hearing our director at that time, like, yell things to actors that, like, to extras who were,
01:44like, simulating sex and saying, like, thrust harder, thrust harder.
01:48I was like, and I would text my mom and dad and be like, mom and dad, guess what I
01:52did at work today?
01:53And it's just, like, it was this, like, such a fun time because it was wild, it was crazy for
01:58all the obvious reasons.
01:59But also, I was like, how cool to be on a show that is topical, that takes on political issues,
02:05social commentaries, and I'm also in a superhero orgy.
02:09Like, I was so, I was, it was just so much fun.
02:12Yeah.
02:13So much fun.
02:14So that for me, for sure.
02:15I'm happy.
02:15I'm happy for you that you got to experience that.
02:18But how about you, Cara?
02:20I mean, there's been a lot of moments.
02:22I think the biggest one was the whale sequence because it almost felt like a summer camp.
02:28We were outside on a boat.
02:30There was a helicopter following us at one point.
02:33It was, like, such a crazy experience to shoot that, like, not even on a green screen.
02:41So that was a big one.
02:42And then I think for, we've had a lot of moments where it's a close-up of the actor and
02:49they're shooting blood or some kind of, like, bodily fluid or something.
02:56And there's always someone off camera with a bucket full of, like, one person's pumping and then one person's aiming.
03:05And a lot of times the aim is not perfect.
03:09And so we have to do multiple takes and they're, like, three, two, one, action.
03:14And, like, I just remember, especially the boys' side of things, like, a lot of blood, a lot of blood.
03:23And, like, a lot of it goes into your eye.
03:26And so I will miss those moments for sure.
03:29Miss them.
03:30Well, sort of.
03:32To a degree.
03:32Yeah, to a degree.
03:33I can't imagine another show like this.
03:36It certainly set the standard for sure.
03:38Like, what a thing to be a part of.
03:40I don't know how it ends for either of your characters and I don't want to spoil it.
03:44But I do want to know whether you are happy with how things end for your respective characters and if
03:50it's how you expected it to end.
03:52I will just say that because my perspective, to reveal my perspective on this, in my opinion, would be a
04:01spoiler in itself.
04:02I will just say that I am really, really proud to work with writers who wrapped up our show, like,
04:11in terms of, like, in a macro sense and a micro sense for each character.
04:15I think they did a brilliant job.
04:17And I really am grateful.
04:19I've always been so grateful to work with our writers.
04:22But a series finale for a show like ours is really, I know the pressure was on and I think
04:27they did a brilliant job.
04:28So I'm sad.
04:29I think the audience will be satisfied.
04:31That is a very diplomatic answer, which I'm very happy about.
04:34Like, that's the way it's got it.
04:35Cara, can you say anything?
04:37You know, it's definitely hard to talk about it because, like, there are so many spoilers that could happen.
04:44And I agree with Aaron in that, you know, it's really hard to land a ship this large.
04:50And so I really think that knowing that season five was going to be our finale helped us create this
05:00ending that Kripke wanted.
05:02And a lot of times shows get cancelled suddenly and they don't get to, you know, say goodbye to the
05:08characters or the crew or, like, any part of the, like, so many loose strings.
05:13But I think fans will be quite satisfied with how everything comes to an end.
05:19That's all we want, isn't it?
05:20Like, at the end of the day, like, all of us just want to be like, oh, yes, they finished
05:23my favourite show in, like, the best way.
05:26So I really, yeah, I'm looking forward to enjoying it with everyone else as well when it comes out.
05:31But I hope to speak to you girls in the future.
05:33Yeah, thank you.
05:34Either whether it's on The Boys, different projects, or whatever.
05:37It comes back.
05:39Anytime.
05:39Absolutely.
05:40I'm always here for it.
05:41And you look great, by the way.
05:42Oh, thank you.
05:43You do, too.
05:43Lovely to see you.
05:44Thank you so much.
05:45Thank you so much.
