00:00Uh, you know, I never expected to, uh, breastfeed a middle-aged man.
00:03Especially, like, slightly from a distance at first, like, in a projectile fashion.
00:07How has it been, like, this whole...
00:10last season's getting ready to say goodbye, like, how are you feeling?
00:13Feeling good, as long as no one asks me that question.
00:15But every single person will.
00:17Yeah, so I'm feeling a lot.
00:19How are you feeling, I think, is the more important thing.
00:21I mean, we're... it's bittersweet.
00:23It's bittersweet.
00:24And it feels... I think there's certainly a certain amount of pressure.
00:27You know, we worked really f***ing hard.
00:30Everybody worked so hard on that last season.
00:32And really wanted to deliver, um, something that was a fitting ending to such a huge and important show.
00:40Um, but also one of the things that I respect so much about Kripke is, like,
00:44he created this thing that became a juggernaut.
00:47And he could have dragged this on forever, you know what I mean?
00:50But I think, you know, it really speaks to his, uh, his storytelling.
00:55That it was always going to be finite.
00:56It was always going to have this completion.
00:59And I think... I think the fans will appreciate that.
01:01Is there a moment across all seasons that you guys have been in, obviously season four, season five, for, um,
01:07and all seasons,
01:08where you've stepped on set and you're like, I can't believe that I'm doing this today.
01:12The moment that sticks out to me the most is in season three when Noir died, you know?
01:18And you, you bond with your character, you, you throw your heart into them, and then somewhere along the process,
01:25they become real to you.
01:27And you don't always realize it.
01:29But that day, it felt like someone was dying.
01:32Like, the energy in the room felt different.
01:34You know, and so I think that, that moment sticks out to me as a, you know, we were really,
01:41we were really creating and living in the world.
01:44You must have known he was coming back though, right?
01:46I did, luckily.
01:46Luckily.
01:47Can you imagine?
01:49It was like, okay, bye Nathan.
01:51Yeah.
01:52And they're like, actually, you're coming.
01:53That would, that would have been a, a whiplash moment.
01:55Yeah.
01:56How about you, Beth?
01:56Uh, you know, I didn't, never expected to, uh, breastfeed a middle-aged man.
02:00Um, so, especially, like, slightly from a distance at first, like, in a projectile fashion.
02:06Um, that was, that was, uh, that was, that was a day, you know?
02:09I feel like if that hadn't been your answer, you'd be like.
02:11I mean, let's be, let's be real.
02:13It's when Ant and I both look at each other and go, what the f*** are we doing?
02:17And you're like, we went to school for this.
02:21Uh, but, that said, as insane as it was, I, it's also one of my favourite scenes.
02:27And I think it's because he and I both came to it with the same perspective, which was
02:31to play kind of against how lewd it could be and just make it as sincere and intimate
02:37as possible.
02:38And that's so much f***ing weirder.
02:41It's, yeah.
02:42It's definitely one of the standout moments from.
02:45Without giving anything away.
02:48And I don't know how the whole of season five ends, so I can't give it away.
02:51Are you happy with how things end for your characters?
02:55I think my ending is fitting.
02:57I will say that.
02:58I think, uh, the writers put a lot of thought into all of our arcs.
03:01And the journey Noir goes on this season reflects the themes he's dealing with, you know, with
03:09his character.
03:10Um, in season four, it was about struggling to find direction and finding it in flawed,
03:19corrupted mentorship from the deep.
03:21You know, and so Noir's arc this season is similarly interesting.
03:29And I think it comes to its end in a very fitting, full circle way.
03:37I love that.
03:38I can't say anything without spoiling.
03:40Truly, I'm sitting here racking my brain for a way to, like, respond to that, honestly,
03:44in, like, a piffy way, and it's not there.
03:46It's just, like, just absolutely.
03:47Yeah, no, I don't envy you having to try and do this.
03:49Speechless.
03:49Yeah, without spoiling.
03:51Yeah.
03:51Okay, then tell me, as a result of being in the boys, what is the most surreal thing
03:55that has happened to you or you've got to do?
03:58I'm going to be honest.
03:58I had a really surreal moment the first day in Rome, two days ago, because I'm walking
04:03around with my partner, and I was like, let's go to the Piazza Navona, right?
04:07You know, I've been to Rome before, and I'm like, this is this, you know, important central
04:09point.
04:10And there is a giant, like, there's a giant billboard of the seven in the Piazza Navona,
04:16and I, I'm going to be honest, I kind of cried.
04:21Like, it's surreal.
04:23It does, it's hard to actually get my head around, and it's so exciting to be here and
04:28to be a part of this and to have the gang back together, to celebrate in this way that
04:31is so huge, and then to have that moment was just, I mean, maybe it's a selfish answer
04:38to give, but, like, it was, like, it was overwhelming.
04:40No, no, not at all.
04:41I think it's, yeah, like, you should have those moments in life.
04:44When else?
04:45Like, if I get jaded about that, what am I doing?
04:47I should change jobs, I guess.
04:48Right.
04:49Good luck with season five.
04:50You're not going to need it, but, um, thank you.
04:53Thank you so much.
04:54Thank you so much.
04:54Lovely to meet you.
04:55Have a good day.
