A man who had gone viral on social media for driving against traffic along Old Klang Road has been detained after surrendering himself at the Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department office on April 5 night.

00:13at the department's office the day before for driving against traffic. Zamzuri said the 32-year-old
00:20suspect showed up at 8.35 p.m. after police had failed to locate him at several addresses
00:27including his family home. Zamzuri said initial investigations found that the suspect took a
00:35wrong turn while heading towards the Mid-Valley Shopping Centre and then he drove against traffic
00:40along Old Klang Road for about 500 metres. The suspect underwent breathalyzer and urine tests
00:47which turned out to be negative results. Police said the case is investigated under the Road
00:53Transport Act for reckless and dangerous driving. Video of the car driven against traffic from
00:59the Old Klang Road and Jalan Zepadu intersection to the Jalan Kuchailama intersection went viral
01:05on social media on Sunday.
