00:00But if I would have told you right now, the leader in the clubhouse with funds being bet on, it's
00:05actually Alex Cora that's listed here in this marketplace.
00:09The favorite right now, and it's mostly about 40%, 44%, 45% on Skip Schumacher.
00:17Boy, it's kind of hard to say, Craig, right now who the AL Manager of the Year is because what
00:20have they actually done through eight games?
00:22But there's a market and people will invest.
00:25Yeah, boy, way too early in this one.
00:28And, you know, sometimes the Manager of the Year, Donnie, does get skewed a little bit to the first season
00:35guy, like a guy in their first season with the team.
00:37So I understand that.
00:38And Skip was fantastic in that 2023 season in Miami.
00:43So I guess you could look at that and say, can he do that with the Texas Rangers?
00:46It still remains to be seen.
00:48But you have a lot of first-year managers out there.
00:51I certainly think that somebody that I can assure you is going to be in the mix.
00:56I don't know if he's going to win or not, but since we're talking about investments, quote-unquote, here on
01:01Kalshi, would be Steven Vogt.
01:03I mean, Cleveland is always going to be in it, right?
01:06So, like, there's going to come a point where I don't know if he's going to win, but he's going
01:10to be in the top three.
01:11Because Cleveland's going to be better than what we thought.
01:13They're going to win 85, 86 games probably.
01:15And he'll have a chance just like he did last year, just like he did the year before.
01:19So, for me, that's always the guy to keep an eye on.
01:21I would have thought, by the way, Donnie, at the beginning of the season, that the investments would become heavy
01:27on Mark Kotze of the A's just because of the investments that they made on the field with a lot
01:32of those contract extensions.
01:34And now, Donnie, I may be on the other way by Guypore Kotze.
01:38I mean, would you say right now that they're looking at him like, hey, man, like, I mean, this is
01:43not the start that the A's wanted to get off to.
01:46It's funny because it's like, hey, well, that guy made a great move by putting in this pitcher in the
01:51seventh inning.
01:52Manager of the year, first eight games of the season.
01:54We know how this balances out.
01:55You can't have too good a team.
01:57You can't have too bad of a team.
01:59You've got to have a team that didn't have high expectations, maybe slightly over-exceeded, made the playoffs, and that's
02:04what it's going to come down to here.
02:05But a long season here for AL Manager of the Year.
02:08Let's get even down deep because you take a look.
02:10You go to a fan doing DraftKings.
02:12You try to find Executive of the Year in Major League Baseball where you can invest in.
02:16You can't do it.
02:17Kalsi and Polymark, you can absolutely do that.
02:19How about the Executive of the Year winner?
02:21And again, a lot's going to have to factor in how many decisions you're going to make are the right
02:25way.
02:25But we talk about so much Milwaukee.
02:27You traded away an ace.
02:29You get some prospects back.
02:30You don't spend a lot of money, but here you are in first place.
02:32And it's Matt Arnold from Milwaukee trading at 16% right now as the favorite, Craig, on Kalsi for Executive
02:40of the Year.
02:41Yeah, and I think that, you know, that Tampa Bay tree is always one to look at.
02:47So I always start there.
02:48And so, you know, would Eric Neander, of course, who's going to be in it every year?
02:53And, you know, certainly if you look at it, look, I know that it was not a great weekend in
02:58New York thus far.
02:58I don't know what's going to happen with Miami today, but Peter Bendix of the Marlins thus far.
03:04I mean, the Marlins are five and three to start the season, too.
03:07So that could be a name to keep an eye on as well.
03:09But I'm going to guess that it's going to be a team that is performing above expectations.
03:15And also, Donnie, that made good free agent signings, right?
03:18Like that's going to be the thing is who signed free agents to a one-year deal, a two-year
03:22deal, a 10-year deal that ended up working out.
03:25This, to me, of all of the things that we're going to review is the way too earliest for me
03:31to try to predict an executive.
03:33I mean, we're just what free agent through eight games can you tell anything about right now?
03:39I think the answer is none.
