00:00Koa Peets, especially offensively, has started to find his rhythm.
00:04And I think it'll be more as Johnson's job to disrupt him.
00:08But I also think it'll be more as his job to hit the offensive boards, right?
00:14And finish easy opportunities created by Cadeau and Lendenborg on the offensive side.
00:21More as Johnson really stands out to me in the props market.
00:26As somebody who likes Michigan, more as Johnson stands out.
00:29A little bit as well.
00:31Is there a guy, either side of the court, J.Y., who feels like the X factor to you?
00:36Yeah, you just mentioned him on the other side.
00:38And that's Koa Peet.
00:39And it's not his points.
00:40It's going to be his rebound.
00:42His rebound number is at 5.5 on Fandle at minus 120.
00:45And I think that's a low number for a guy that's gone over five out of the last six games.
00:49I think this is where, when you have games, right, like this, Kevin,
00:54where I think there's going to be points, not the whole time, where you struggle to score.
00:57You have to make sure that you have the ability to secure rebounds and create extra possessions.
01:04So when you look at Arizona, you look at Koa Peet.
01:07Koa Peet is one of their best offensive rebounders.
01:10And if I think the two base camps each other out, then I've got to go find who can get
01:14the rebound.
01:16That's Koa Peet.
01:17Koa Peet over five and a half rebounds.
01:19I'm going to tell you right now, that's my play of the day, pick of the day, three-man weave,
01:24five-man weave, two-man weave, one-on-one, whatever you get.
01:27Koa Peet over five and a half rebounds.
01:29I think he goes up and over.
01:30I don't know if he scores enough, but I think he's going to rebound enough.
01:34Can I ask you about Peet specifically, where he's had moments, I think, where it's like, you know, man, Koa
01:43Peet going back to college isn't terrible, right?
01:47He's not going to go top five.
01:49He absolutely, you know, would be a force next year.
01:52But now in this tournament, he's averaging, you know, 18 and seven on some efficient shooting for the most part
01:59here.
02:01Do you think that Koa Peet is someone who can get himself to be a top ten pick when we
02:07start talking, you know, the draft, JY, in late June?
02:13Or do you see some value in this kid going back to school?
02:16No, I still think, you know, when you look at the draft, Kevin, a lot of it's going to have
02:20to do with where these kids line up.
02:22Right.
02:22In regards to what teams specifically need.
02:26But because of his athleticism and listen, Kevin, you know, this is every year you get older, you go down.
02:32Now, what Koa Peet's got to decide is, do I come out now, go somewhere between the eight to 12
02:39range or do I go back to a weaker class to try and be top five?
02:44You never know with these kids.
02:46Do you take the chance now or you go or you wait and take a chance, you know, and go
02:52back for another year?
02:53To me, if I'm Koa Peet, the way he's playing, I think he comes out and this could put him
02:58kind of the way like Derek Acuff kind of came flying up the draft boards the way he played the
03:04last month of the year.
03:05I think the same thing could be a Koa Peet, final four, big stage, big weekend, Arizona wins a national
03:11championship and maybe he's the most outstanding player, which is possible because he's an X factor for me.
03:17Say this guy is going to be a top 10 pick.
