02:23the
02:23plane drugs but aren't you supposed to eat i can't travel anywhere i can't go to manchester i get jet
02:32lag i've never yeah it's true i've never moved but i don't think you're supposed to eat i think
02:37you're not supposed to eat you know when to eat on the plane right i don't eat plain food you
02:42don't
02:42i do if i'm hungry that's how food works
02:50is it true i read once that you love meat i always know i always travel with like biltong
02:56it's like uh cured sort of uh beef dead animals yeah yeah and when you say like do you take
03:02a sliver
03:03or are you taking a bag i take like a big a big bag uh just to get me through
03:08yeah a big sort of
03:09fatty bag of sort of old meat
03:13and fatty well i you can ask for it many different ways but i ask for the the wettest what's
03:18happening
03:19you can get like pre-packaged stuff in supermarkets it's terrible i feel like i need a visual
03:23no i go i go to like a south africa like a south africa is the store like it's still
03:28africa themed store
03:29but does the meat is it odiferous like does it smell really bad i don't think it smells bad but
03:36i think
03:36other people might think it smells bad i don't know just curious you know yeah it smells good do you
03:43are you a meat eater i love meat yeah listen i'll bring you to the south africa themed shop okay
03:49this is the
03:50worst episode of first dates ever um chase infinity the best name on the sofa yeah the best name i
03:58think i've
03:59ever heard um your parents are very clever how did they put it together and i'm so sorry if you're
04:05bored of answering no i will answer it as many times because i i love the story of my parents
04:10coming
04:11up with my name but pretty much both movies came out in 1995 which was i believe the year that
04:15my parents
04:16got married but um they they had watched batman forever and nicole kidman played a character named
04:22chase meridian and they were like regardless of anything her name is going to be chase because they
04:26were obsessed with nicole kidman in in that movie and then infinity comes from a toy story to infinity
04:32and beyond and i've just gone by chase infinity since i was 10 so that's that's how they sort of
04:37decided
04:37what you were going to do before they even kind of crazy literally crazy how that happened but yeah
04:43i love it and what's your sister called her name is dolce and she's into fashion she went to school
04:48for
04:49fashion is that all you have to do is my parents kind of were like wait a minute hold on
04:55a second
04:56movies fashion this is where we're going i wish i'd known i would have given my kids different names
05:04i don't want anyone to panic because we will talk about friends because i know you three are obsessed
05:09but first of all can we uh talk about the comeback please yes yes oh my god it's like also
05:22you said uh
05:24the comeback is the greatest show of all time i think it might be honestly i'm friends a second
05:28i'll go i'll go i'll go to the meat shop with you now it sounds rude um but before friends
05:38before phoebe
05:39was created you had this idea right you were you there was a character that you created you couldn't
05:46let go at the groundlings which is a sketch comedy improv theater company and i wrote a character monologue
05:55called your favorite actress on a talk show and she had a short red wig and she was really phony
06:01and i just you know it was funny i won't do the whole thing for you um we're on a
06:07talk show this
06:09feels like the perfect time to do something funny no it's not the right place no but i mean i
06:16do remember
06:16one like but i do remember one sort of thing she was just so phony that she would say you
06:25know like
06:25actors who can be really self-important and she just said um no you know it's funny because what's
06:31really important to me now is um you know the planet we need to save the planet everybody okay please
06:39please please as a favor to me i love you for it i will you know so that was my
06:47funny thing
06:55you were so advanced you were miles ahead of everybody else doing a mockumentary or a fly
07:03in the wall however you would describe the reality show of reality shows yeah and then you made it and
07:08it then had a cult following but lots of people were like what yeah what's happening what what are
07:12these cameras moving around that i hate you know and um yeah there were no housewives of anywhere well
07:18yeah we're gonna have a clip this is from series three this is just as valerie gets offered a big
07:24job
07:25yeah have a look and they are offering valerie cherish please note that i said offer not audition
07:32noted a starring role in their new multi-camera comedy wow thrilling i could cry um in a multi-cam
07:43so
07:44sitcoms are making a comeback yeah knew they would you know people need a laugh now more than ever
07:52yeah oh okay what's it about i don't know okay what what's the part i don't know well what do
08:02you
08:02know well i know that you're not gonna have to deal with any asshole writers it's being written by ai
08:11uh-huh now is is that allowed
08:22it's so fantastic was there a little bit of you or was it slightly inspired by the office
08:29at all oh i love the office yeah yeah yeah and and when i saw these reality shows i went
08:36oh
08:37gotta do this because i have a lovely fact is it true jimmy that you took ricky and steven on
08:45a
08:45tour of slough you in you said do it here yeah i took them on a tour of slough yeah
08:50because when
08:52when they were writing that we're all hanging out we did we did like our first edinburgh fringe together
08:56yes me and ricky and steve and then uh we uh yeah they they wanted to know because reading wasn't
09:02quite
09:02shit enough
09:06but slough which is where i'm from is it's legit shit and then and then i uh and if anyone's
09:13watching
09:14this in slough stand by that and i kind of i took them around and then and then was just
09:20explaining
09:21oh yeah there was this was where the nightclub was and then told them that the nightclub was called
09:25henry's it was a henry the eighth themed nightclub i mean yeah sort of writes itself doesn't it yeah
09:34also in the comeback and this is weird that i said that because i'm part of the uk version
09:40your character valerie uh takes part in traitors uh-huh and i know and and valerie's uh stint on
09:49traitors was inspired a little bit by somebody on the uk traitors yes it was on linda linda
09:56oh because for those who haven't um seen and they i i'll just explain linda was the person who and
10:10i said traitors you'll meet each other later and looked at me and nodded and there was a bit of
10:16linda in it wasn't there a bit yeah oh my god yeah we had valerie someone saying like well i
10:23think he's
10:24a traitor and she's oh no i can tell you 100 he's a faithful how do you know just i
10:30have a i have a
10:31feeling i mean you know i don't don't you wish we knew who the traitor was i do i think
10:37so stressful
10:38yeah i love the fact it was based on linda and i think it's only right that you meet her
10:42but oh yes
10:44linda come on
11:03i love seeing you i just somehow wanted linda and lisa together even just for a minute but linda
11:13in your wildest dreams when that happened and you looked at me and went got it
11:17uh did you ever think that then the mighty lisa kudrow would use you as inspiration in her amazing
11:27show no
11:31crazy absolutely on our show she was voted out like that night
11:37no what was wrong with your group heaven
11:40yes episode seven they took a very long time they took a very long time because you're very charming
11:46ladies and gentlemen linda thank you thank you
12:03we're all still alive though yeah
12:06yes we are i just i just i couldn't help it when i watched i was like oh hold on
12:11a minute yeah
12:12i know but they didn't vote her out sorry none of them are here so i can say not bright
12:22she basically held up a sign yeah you said so traitors that's me yeah i'm right here nodded
12:30um we absolutely love the comeback it's on hbo max with new episodes airing weekly yeah um jamie we're
12:39going to talk about snl but first of all slightly friends related everything is friends related
12:45let's talk about flat shares because didn't you share a flat with eddie redmay i did yeah yeah yeah
12:51yeah yeah a long long time ago that's eddie there yeah conveniently on the tv yeah he'd prefer if you
12:58used to picture he's holding his academy award i get that yeah um what was he like as a flatmate
13:04what
13:05are you like i'm a real like ocd neat freaky person and so is eddie i mean eddie it's not
13:10like we
13:11shared a flat and then happens like he's one of my best mates still right but this is like 20
13:1518
13:16years ago i think in la uh no we were really um tidy for like you know a couple of
13:21guys sharing a house
13:22together in laurel canyon uh chase you live with your best friend from college i do and how is that
13:29because
13:29it must be lovely when you're you know oscars all of this like busy and then you go back is
13:35it lovely
13:35to live with her well it is but i haven't been home like in probably i don't know six months
13:42so i go
13:43home for like maybe three days at a time and i'm like hey change my luggage and i'm like okay
13:48bye
13:48thank you for being here i love you very much but yeah but it is nice and like getting to
13:54go home and
13:54kind of ground myself and then she's my best friend in the entire world and and i i i love
14:00her very
14:00much so and she gets her own apartment she does she gets a completely empty apartment yeah sublet why is
14:07there someone in my room um jimmy talk to me about what's it like sharing have you i used to
14:14live with
14:14a couple yeah and come on well then my mum and dad um lisa didn't you meet your husband through
14:23your
14:23flatmate yes i was living with a french woman isabel and he had just moved to the u.s and
14:30was told to
14:31look up this french girl and so he came to take her out and i just went no he's for
14:36me this isn't gonna
14:38work and now oh my god is that french lady still in your life yeah yeah no then we met
14:45again six years
14:46later at her party and started dating oh cool yeah and everyone said lisa no not him one french guy
14:55really thick accent he said lisa michelle he's a butterfly he goes from flower to flower
15:04you were like i'm the best flower he's ever gonna make no no i said yeah it doesn't matter there's
15:10a
15:10rebound thing for me been together ever since 30 years yeah congratulations
15:21i believe there is somebody here who's got the worst flatmate story david yeah hi david hello tell me
15:29about the flatmate yeah i was an entertainer a red coat on holiday parks um and i was told i
15:33was going
15:34to share a very small caravan with with a guy that was on the on the entertainment team but he
15:38just never
15:39stopped and he would be telling jokes and we we wouldn't finish till 1am rehearsing shows and then
15:46you just fall asleep and you'd hear some horrible noise and he was on a unicycle
15:52i'm not kidding and he wasn't very good he'd be banging on the walls honestly and then you'd go and
15:57work and then you'd come back and he'd get his jumper out and he loved cooking fish well i enjoyed
16:05our time together
16:13very much very much his side of the story and you're good at the unicycle i would have been good
16:21if someone had let me practice thank you very much david thank you uh so jamie let's talk about snl
16:28uk
16:29hey you uh you host tomorrow night how are the nerves or should i not be asking that or are
16:38you
16:38feeling fine i go through phases of feeling fine and feeling comfortable the team are unbelievable like
16:43i feel incredible support you know they're um a very funny bunch you know i just feel immense support
16:49and like gratitude that i got to do it it's a it's a proper honor you know yeah huge honor
16:54let's have
16:55a look at a clip this was from saturday night i'm just here as a long time snl employee to
17:02help out
17:02and to answer like any questions anyone might have of what to oh hi yeah nicola coughlin
17:14lovely to see you um but my question is if this is snl uk then why are you the first
17:21host like shouldn't
17:22be like a british icon like david beckham or or judy dench or or or like shrek well that is
17:27a valid
17:27question uh why an american host um and the way it was explained to me uh was that for this
17:33first
17:34episode anyway um how do i put this politely none of you fuckers would do it yeah
17:47is amazing has she helped in any way with you yeah well i guess i'm the
17:52fucker who's doing it which is important to note yeah tina tina and i have done a movie together so
17:58you know i know her and she's incredibly supportive she's been around all this week i mean look it's so
18:05iconic you know even from the you know the early days of dan ackroyce and chevy chase and bill murray
18:09and and and people friends of mine who i've worked with since at christian wig you know it's
18:13it's just incredible but even in the sort of that sort of company or in those conversations
18:17so yeah um lisa you hosted didn't you yeah how was it i don't know
18:24blanked it out yes was it was it terrifying terrifying too late to pull out
18:30i've been making jokes about that with them all week
18:34i say saying things like i might be there i plan to be there but i might not be there
18:38and uh one of my
18:39days it on again yeah exactly yeah you're going to be utterly brilliant thank you have they oh yeah
18:45yeah yeah yeah to sing uh no but i will sing yeah they haven't asked me no but it's live
18:51i can do the
18:51what the fuck i want you could do everything you want there he is yeah i do i love the
19:00story when
19:01you went i believe for a singing audition and you decided to deal with your voice in a certain way
19:07i did i was i was first up uh it was out in l.a around the time i was
19:11probably living with with eddie
19:12and there was a movie called rock of ages i think like tom cruise was in it and uh you
19:18had to sing
19:19like i can sing as much as any other sort of douchey actor guy but like i'm not like a
19:25great singer
19:26but i can sing a bit and i was first up i was like 10 a.m in the morning
19:31which in those days like
19:32pre-kids was like an early an early kickoff and um i i thought i'm not really good enough to
19:38be in
19:39this room so i thought right well what i'll do is i'll drink whiskey um so i bought myself a
19:46little
19:46quarter bottle of like jameson big up ireland and uh because it's so early in the morning i hadn't
19:54had breakfast or anything i sort of got up brushed my teeth had a shower and uh i arrived and
19:58i sort of
19:58opened the door of the car and i sort of saw the whiskey in the car door anyway it's the
20:03first thing
20:03that passed my mouth apart from toothpaste so i as soon as i drank it and i puked
20:10like really violently puked um like sort of down my front no all down thing i didn't have like mouth
20:17walls so i then walked into this audition with puke down my front smelling of whiskey and vomit
20:26and then had to honestly it was so bad and then i had to that we're honestly like the most
20:31comedy
20:32small room you've ever been there's like seven people in this tiny room and i stink and i had to
20:37sing the song that i can't sing and i couldn't sing it i really couldn't sing it but directors just
20:42kept
20:42going let's go get let's do it you want to do it one more time honestly no i don't i
20:48can't keep doing
20:49this is and this is a living nightmare um and i kept they made i think i did it three
20:53times and then that
20:54was it and i've never heard from them well you're going to be great on saturday jimmy you are
21:02magnificent do you have advice for a monologue or what what what's the key you know you don't have
21:09to take my advice but i've done a lot of comedy i've done a lot of kind of jokes on
21:13stage i would buy
21:15a quarter bottle of james when you're watching tv you can't smell so it's a good point it's a good
21:28point i think that's what tina faye does yeah definitely yeah i got a sniff of her it was yeah
21:34i didn't
21:38okay you're hosting saturday night live tomorrow night sky one 10 p.m
21:49uh chasing timothy you're here to talk to us about the testament yes which is unbelievable
21:55i cannot say this enough they sent me one and they said that'll do you and i had to phone
22:01and beg
22:01it's after the handmaid's tale yeah it's the sequel it's five years later it's about like three to four
22:07years later after the the final season of the handmaid's tale yeah i like that already people like
22:12oh it's nice and dark and meaty yeah i saw a handmaid's tower it wasn't as funny as i thought
22:18it was gonna be um let's have a taste if you will of the testament i believed in this world
22:25once
22:27it's easier to accept a story than believe that the people around you are monsters we gather here
22:33tonight to bring women back to their rightful place blessed be the fruit
22:44it was time for us to change things
22:48it's so crazy
22:49you know when you just don't realize like oh my god that's like that's something that i made and it's
22:57really cool getting to see it it is unbelievable tell people a bit about the premise and who you
23:04play okay so i play a character named agnes mackenzie and it's kind of a coming-of-age story in
23:09gilead so
23:10the handmaid's tale was told from the perspective of a handmaid but this follows a group of girls who
23:15are the daughters of high-ranking commanders so you're kind of seeing the nobility in a sense going to
23:20school and training to become um wives in gilead so you're kind of having that new perspective around
23:26a 14 year old girl so and it's margaret atwood and it's quite dark a lot of it is really
23:33dark how do you
23:35come out of that if that's not a weird question it's not a weird question but like i feel very
23:40grateful because our entire cast and crew was so so sweet where you felt very supported the entire time
23:46so even if you had an unexpectedly difficult day with the material on set you felt you felt like you
23:52were um you were cared for in a way and i i really am i owe a lot of my
23:57hard days to my entire casting
23:59crew because we really had each other on those on those dark moments i mean jamie you played a real
24:05baddie uh in the fall how did you do that and then go yeah i'm gonna make some pasta now
24:12or however it
24:13works i i just honestly think you need like levity and those moments because it's it's just not a
24:18healthy place to keep your head i talk about like crisps or something i'll say like i could talk about
24:25crisps all day so could i i i honestly do think take after take coming at it totally fresh is
24:33a better
24:33energy i i personally find and we've been talking about hula hoops for five minutes beef obviously obviously
24:40just have to say that out loud yeah we usually have about 48 packets at any point in my house
24:47yeah same as me do you let i'm just and then we'll go back i promise don't panic jace's agent
24:54is like
24:54get her out of there have you tried the large hoop not not a big fan of it yeah too
25:01much too much no
25:02oh never what's happened i just i don't know where margaret atwood stands
25:09on the hula hoop but we were we were on that so maybe just get back in just just a
25:17modicum of
25:17professionalism i'm so sorry he said crisps i went with it um the hula hoops the toy
25:25no the crisp the chip i don't know what you're talking about yeah fine i'm sorry we'll move on so
25:32the testaments is available on disney plus from april the 8th
25:40okay now we have to talk about one battle uh what a film what a film
25:46thank you and you in that film and it just won all of those oscars when you went for the
25:54audition
25:55they asked you to get quite close to leonardo dicaprio didn't they yeah i know exactly where this is going
26:03yes definitely my first camera test that i had i was asked to shave his face um and i didn't
26:11know what
26:12i was doing and i was shaking the entire time because it was with an electric razor i don't know
26:16what i'm doing this is leonardo dicaprio it's a famous face yeah as faces go i was literally like
26:24i don't know what i'm doing i'm so sorry and tell me about the oscars i mean because it's your
26:31first
26:31one yeah and you go you win everything you look beautiful did you have fun it was the coolest
26:38experience ever and it felt even more special getting to be there with everyone from one battle
26:44and we had so much love in the room and it like it's a night i will never forget and
26:50getting to
26:50um also be be a part of presenting the first award in casting was also so special and then our
26:56casting
26:56director won and i could not stop jumping on the stage and i was like i'm sorry i can't contain
27:01my
27:01excitement right now but you were presenting it and then the person that cast your movie won well you
27:06could have said anything it just feels like well i didn't read it gwyneth paltrow read it it wasn't
27:13me yeah but you've just seen her backstage and gone gwyneth i know there wasn't there wasn't the seal
27:18like there normally was it was kind of just a magnetic thing and also was it in your handwriting it
27:22was
27:23no one did see it so it could have been um and how were the parties where did which house
27:30did you go
27:31to first oh at that point were you like i'm going night night i went to five parties that
27:36because it was my first oscars okay i had to go to all of them of course of course of
27:43course but um
27:44i tried to go to as many as i possibly could absolutely award shows where do you stay i mean
27:51you've hosted a lot jimmy yeah but i mean the national plumbers awards and telford it's not the same thing
27:57there are not five after parties how many were there three it's like yeah well you know i hosted
28:04a lot of corporate awards it's a different thing it's fun though right it's an honor a privilege and
28:10a massive check to be here i also went i met nicole kidman at the oscars which was crazy
28:17because i'm named after her and i was like i'm named after you so that was really special too and
28:23did she love it was she adorable or did she say stop touching me she couldn't have been kinder like
28:29like truthfully was so so sweet and afterwards i texted my parents i was like i just met the woman
28:34i'm named after that's so cool oh that is but that is it is lisa friends won 79 major awards
28:43is that really yeah and do you know what i love lisa because you're one of us lots of people
28:53don't
28:54like talking about like don't like harking back so we were like well maybe we shouldn't talk about
28:58friends but you you like talking about it you don't mind no i don't mind why would i mind but
29:03i'm just
29:04grateful because i'm a wonderful person no but honestly i get it yeah i'm proud of it you should be
29:19um chase you watch it don't you of course i do i remember watching it in high school
29:26awkward pause just like i feel very exposed after that pause because we're wondering you mean last week
29:34so you just started watching but i love the fact that you you said i know the song off by
29:41heart and
29:42i thought it was going to be the one about the cat oh no it wasn't the first thing i
29:46said was p is in phoebe
29:47h is in heevee isn't it i like went through the whole thing on the car
29:54didn't they search your car sometimes every week after we would shoot a show security would not let me out
30:03without looking in my trunk to see if i took something did they do that to every no just me
30:12why i don't know you can tell us was it because you stole someone's french boyfriend
30:19not one time yeah well is it because you took something no i absolutely did not take something
30:26did i do you know something at the end i did you got me i did at the end after
30:34the 10 years i did i
30:36took the rings i took phoebe's rings is that is that because out of everything because i think
30:42you've got to take something no you weren't really allowed but matthew perry asked permission and he gave
30:48me um the cookie jar that was on monica's refrigerator well yes it is nice yeah it's really
30:56sweet your character specifically had such reach such impact you don't need me to tell you how much but
31:06just to illuminate okay to our audience if you are called phoebe please stand up
31:27i hope uh i hope nicole kidman's watching this
31:33you've got one
31:37wow thank you so much lisa thank you
31:43okay jimmy the time has come to talk about your show which is i feel like i've won a competition
31:48to
31:49be here i'm quite happy not we're gonna talk honestly this is lovely last one laughing it was the
31:55biggest hit of last year and it is was it or was it the traitors no no we can arm
32:09wrestle i'm obsessed
32:10by your show let's discuss it before we have a clip tell everybody the premise so the premise is uh
32:17we get 10 comedians they're all very funny they go into a house and they're allowed to try and make
32:22each other laugh and they're not allowed to laugh it's it's that it's that simple and somehow it works
32:29it's a perfect lineup before they come in you know them all really well do you say to roisin do
32:36you
32:36say to anybody going this person's gonna smash it and do people surprise you yeah i was very i was
32:42surprised people did people take it so seriously and everyone gets weirdly competitive
32:47about well no we're here we might as well win it yeah and then you're performing these guys are
32:52doing bits on stage and they're giving it their all to be funny and just 11 people are just
33:01stony-faced just nothing it's killing them inside can we have a clip this is david mitchell's joker
33:08which gone before we show it i mean this is so david mitchell is like i mean he's a wonderfully
33:13funny
33:13comedic actor but also like a serious actor yeah he's a serious guy i mean he writes columns in the
33:19papers he's he's a dear friend he's quite the talent this blew my mind i mean maybe this is how
33:24you were
33:25thinking of david mitchell this is not how i see him at all this is david mitchell's joker you've read
33:46and took all as he traveled through the air oh dear flashbang wallop what a picture what a picture
33:53what a fun a crowd oh young cat why now you spend tights all torn and his rapier bent clap
33:59hands
34:00stab your face bang on the big face drum what a picture what a picture what a picture i'm tiddly
34:06i'm
34:06pump pump pump pump i'm a student in your family i'll bump
34:19the psychology of that which you touched on before is this is the funniest people in the land
34:26and nobody's luck everyone's like that and they they come out david does something like that there
34:33are others people just go yeah well done what is that what nice yeah they're dying inside
34:39and that's what it's like i think it's i think the reason it's a here is kind of
34:42it's people everyone's experienced that yeah whether it's at a family funeral
34:52a nativity play anywhere that i think i shouldn't be making jokes and laughing that's when i want to
34:57laugh and i've got i can never hide it no because i have the audit i've got a weird laugh
35:01i laugh on an
35:15you you'd be you'd i think i i think i could i've got my game plan i know what i
35:20would do because they
35:21all get to do a performance piece and i would just i'd wear what i normally wear normally three
35:26piece and a tie and i would just full magic mike
35:32full monte it and just and grind
35:38lots of eye contact super sexy yeah is there anyone you've mentioned david anyone else that
35:46you were impressed by because i imagine for the we don't know who's won i'm not giving any spoilers
35:51out bob mortimer walks in and you go all right never mind i can't do it is he the only
35:56one that
35:57has come back from the first series yeah he's the only one still alive
36:03have you seen final destination a weird thing happened with our cast they're all gone um no he
36:11came back to defend his title so that was it's kind of fun and he romesh's face well because bob
36:17went in last and romesh's face just drops i mean i say drops drops further
36:24he always looks pretty grumpy but he's like ah extra grump it's a it's an awful lot of fun and
36:30it does
36:30feel like you know the right show for now because i don't know the world's in turmoil you uh you
36:38know the guy that used to present you probably saw it you know the apprentice in the states
36:42there was a there's a guy called donald trump used to present that and he's now got a new show
36:49it's called the news it is terrifying i like the apprentice so i'm gonna try the new one
37:05so people can watch last one laughing on prime video available now correct jimmy here's the thing
37:12you've started making whiskey yeah i've got a weird whiskey company with um with some friends so there's
37:19a town outside um uh dairy called muff and so
37:26please please get your minds out of the gutter it's uh you you know muff i didn't because i thought
37:33you were a big meat guy
37:38so i i own the muff liquor company with it only gets weirder it's like me and russell crow and
37:46ed sheeran
37:47i own a whiskey gin and vodka company called muff liquor it was recently and this is this is a
37:54fun
37:55fact it was recently brought to my attention that that is actually a double entendre
38:01so watch out for that you are still on tour you're going all over the world how many countries 48
38:1148 what yeah i think 48 countries yeah i'm just doing sort of australia new zealand at the moment
38:15i think canada later in the year yeah it's a lot it is a lot it's a lot but you've
38:20got to remember
38:21i've got young kids so it's nice to be away
38:28jimmy where can we get tickets for your talk i've got a website you could go to that i guess
38:31people will
38:32figure it out i think if you're not if you're not smart enough to figure out where to get tickets
38:40i don't want you on my show
38:48we're nearing the end but before we go jimmy you've become an advice guru when you say you put a
38:54lot out
38:55there you the crowd work is exceptional my kids are like if i have a problem can can you ask
39:01jimmy i
39:01was like that that's super weird but you like so do you know your kids quite well um but how
39:10how
39:11did that start people ask questions as a comedian i think you if you think about who's your best
39:17friend in the world i'll tell you who your best friend in the world is it's the person you have
39:20the
39:20least filter right if you sit next to someone on a plane and go oh the weather you know it's
39:24been
39:24cold hasn't it it's like that's a lot of filter yeah right and if it's like your best friend in
39:28the world you go oh my god you have to see these hemorrhoids seriously it's like a bunch of grapes
39:35like that that zero filter and i think if you treat an audience as if you have no filter with
39:41them
39:41then people open up audience would you like to feel involved would you would would we like some
39:48advice from jimmy yeah yeah i think we would too okay yes here we go go on hi yeah i'm
39:56phoebe
39:58one of many um like spartacus i know it was like me and my army when i stood up it
40:03was great um
40:05my question is i want to tell people when they're being annoying to help them be less annoying um but
40:14then i look like a a bitch so what's the best way to handle this when you say people how
40:22many people
40:23are we talking about i mean i mean it happens every day like there's a lot of there's a lot
40:27of people
40:27i would like to tell that to well the adage would be if you meet three assholes before noon you're
40:35the
40:35arsehole it's tough love
40:50i didn't know it was gonna go this way would you like a gentler piece of advice no it's all
40:57right
40:58easy i think you've learned something me too and that's what life's about
41:07i mainly do dick jokes okay no i like this jimmy as well wow what do you do i feel
41:15like i should
41:15what do you do what do you do what do you do what do you do what do you do
41:29for living i'm training to
41:30be a therapist i mean i'm not sure if it's the job for you
41:43i love uh chase's face throughout all of that and then i believe we have uh phoebe number two
41:50yes hello i'm also phoebe i'm dating at the moment and i'm just wondering how can i figure
41:58out the difference between a red flag and just a floor oh that's a good question um do you like
42:05the
42:06guy this is just sort of in general in general red flags yeah and like and sort of like icky
42:12things
42:13and like so i've got a specific example if it helps yes yes yeah um men who specifically only grow
42:21an
42:21underbeard oh that's the worst thank you thank you it's just hair here oh like lincoln yeah yeah okay or
42:34they just have like the sort of the straps like a helmet yeah no okay okay i think i might
42:41have
42:41the answer for this go ahead tell him i think if you just are open and you go hey i
42:47don't like
42:48that that's got to go but he should know that
42:56like there's no like he's not yeah but you're jamie
43:00the same thing as everything now he's not there's not articles in magazines going this is a great look
43:06no one's telling him to do it like no offense but you're an adonis
43:13yeah but this is just i'd look worse if i had a half beard maybe not you would still turn
43:19heads
43:21look good i don't know i think i think tell him i'm very much enjoying this bit of the show
43:26i could do this all day yes that's another show everybody
43:34right that's it we're off to knit a small hour i would like to thank my guests jimmy car
