00:00Welcome to Craig's Corner. I'm Craig DeGrelli. Lots of architecture and space exploration
00:04this week. Did you see it on Wednesday night? It was fantastic. Artemis II lifted off from
00:10the Kennedy Space Center. The Orion Space Capsule is now in space. It's a 10-day mission
00:15for astronauts. They're going to circle the moon, not land on the moon, circle it,
00:21set up the next mission, which will entail astronauts going up and actually landing on
00:25the moon. That's likely in 2027 with a further goal down the road of exploration of Mars. Wow,
00:34that is amazing. Well, now let's get to architecture. President Trump still has more than two years
00:38left in office, but his supporters are already planning in advance. They've released renderings
00:45and some simulations of what will be the Trump library. It's going to be in Miami. It's a
00:50skyscraper overlooking Biscayne Bay. There's going to be a large atrium with military aircraft,
00:58TRUMP block letters on the outside, and the foundation that's working on the Trump Presidential
01:05Library in Miami is now looking to raise about $1 billion for the effort. Speaking of President
01:11Trump, the National Capital Planning Commission this week gave the okay to the new grand ballroom
01:16at the White House that the president is planning on. Have you heard about it? $400 million,
01:2190,000 square feet. Well, they gave it the go-ahead, but a federal judge this week said not so
01:26fast.
01:27He said the construction must stop immediately, that Trump is the steward of the White House,
01:31he doesn't own the White House, and he must look out for future presidents and future families
01:37that will live there. So it looks like it's in legal limbo for now. That's it for Craig's Corner.
