01:10choose from one of eight rooms for up to 360 pounds a night and meet hosts keen to
01:16restore order we've taken this place from a kind of a band of building it's what
01:21you see now so yeah it's been lovely restored a lot of hard work a lot of tears
01:27yeah emotional financial everything it's gone into this place and when it comes to
01:33the competition this couple have stars in their eyes we want to deliver the the
01:38luxury of a five-star hotel with the bedding and everything the towers little
01:43touches even like soundproofing aircon nice decor we've really gotten that extra

05:22no shower there's nothing it's just no I wouldn't be able to get in that over drinks some relations
05:27soured I do all the cleaning do all the marketing and we do it very well I do check-in

05:32is not very well really and come feedback how were the facilities style over substance some remarks
05:41standards definitely lower than they should be multitude of issues didn't sweeten the host
05:47there's nothing there that I have learned just vile and today Charbon's been left with a nasty taste
05:55Emma Louise and Mark and Amy it was too harsh their scoring not constructive criticism it was
06:02unnecessary but I'm gonna leave it till payment day I'm gonna enjoy Margot today

07:05clean it's absolutely fresh for 265 pounds so it's over 500 pounds for a weekend I mean we've been on

07:13mini cruise for that price before right lovely little bath looks nice and clean oh there's a shower and it's
07:23massive it's quite snug yeah the whole room's just snug isn't it there is not one watermark in there
07:32so it's everything I need I've got my shower I've got a shaving mirror I think the light is on

07:37out it starts flickering when I turned it on room inspections almost over Amy and Mark are in a lather

11:32wonderful house so been left in a very bad state and got successful in the auction so to give you
11:39some perspective of how bad the building was we went through I think it was roughly about 23,000 pounds
11:45worth of skips yeah yeah and then literally bit by bit we put it back together again congratulations it
11:51looks lovely thank you very much absolutely stunning thank you I'm one of those people I think if you're
11:56going to do something you've got to do it properly for example the pillows are a hundred pound the
12:00mattresses we use Savoy London use them there's sheets of 400 thread count cotton obviously they've
12:07sent a lot of money on it but personally I don't think it's cost effective I don't think a hundred
12:11pound
12:11pillows are needed it's a bit OTT pillow talk over Amy decides to address the elephant in the room
12:18Charbon I mean I think you must be one of the most charismatic amazing interesting people that we've
12:28never come across thank you and however today I felt that you've been a little bit off quieter and a
12:37disappointed not in your part you've been genuine throughout but honestly you two you know from
12:44the comments of yesterday and everything the comments for on the feedback yeah totally none of
12:48it is meant in a negative way and I hope that we're all here to look at our feedback and
12:54grow I think if
12:55it comes from a place of kindness then that's okay but I think sometimes it can maybe not come across

13:08and always be honest but you can be respectful with honesty totally agree with that yeah hallelujah

14:21the bed my personal preference was a tiny bit hard but it was super quiet and yeah it was really
14:27nice meanwhile Amy and Mark are coasting I slept like an absolute baby last night yeah it was so
14:34peaceful wasn't it I was in that bed and I was a kip like that breakfast at old townhouse is

14:42off-site offering and today hosts Mark and Annie have suggested a local hotspot we don't offer
14:48breakfast one we've recommended is a bit of a Margate gem it's been there since 1946 it's one we
14:53recommend that maybe they would not find without us recommending it with everyone seated oh yeah

15:04with fried egg and beans I'll get the medium breakfast as well please mediums out of beans

15:29the pillows were worth a hundred pound each could you tell the difference in your sleep I don't think
15:33so I mean they were they're lovely pillows so they're really really lovely pillows but we're in
15:39Margate do you need mattresses that are the same as the Savoy I think it's a bit much for where
15:43it is
15:44no I think you do because there are people coming to Margate who want it absolute luxury it's ultra
15:51luxury this is lovely they're not used to this sort of luxury and there are people out there who expect
15:55this sort of standard and will pay for this sort of standard if we walked in here you wouldn't go

16:35experience a little bit of Margate history in here as well oh boy it's a lovely breakfast breakfast is
16:40lovely this morning the recommendation was great it allowed us to walk through parts of town which I
16:44wouldn't normally see meal mulled over now Amy wants to know if the price is right do you think it's
16:51value for money yes no I don't I like to see my house I'd probably like a bigger bedroom I've
16:56got
16:56a very snug room if you've stayed in places let's say major cities like London if it those sort of
17:02accommodations will be triple the prices and people will pay for it so we've come to Margate before and
17:08we've paid less money and we've stayed in three rooms we've had a kitchen we've had a lounge area at
17:15the
17:15end of the day it's just a room when you're judging a place and you're trying to put its value
17:20you're
17:21literally going on what you've had in the past and compare it I can't justify paying for something that
17:28I don't think is good value for money even though you've not experienced and will never pay these
17:32sort of rates for a hotel anything is not a reason why to knock it down plates polished off the
17:38guests
17:38head back to the accommodation to fill out those anonymous feedback forms how are your hosts at old
17:44townhouse great hosting resolved a couple of problems I had the price I would expect someone
17:50to be here all the time in eight woman friendly yeah would still prefer to see the hosts nine I
17:57agree yeah how clean was old town house spotless ten outstanding a turn how were the facilities
18:07a small room problem with water temperature flickering light in ensuite overpowering wallpaper
18:14I'm going to score them a six fantastic facilities throughout this is ultra luxurious ten how did you
18:21sleep like a baby it was perfection yeah hey ten ten mattress a little too firm for me but still
18:28comfortable a nine how was breakfast great recommendation classic full English breakfast
18:34a ten all right time for the big question would you stay here again it's a definite yes it's not
18:42the
18:42sort of place that we would choose to stay no it's gonna have to be a no I personally don't
18:48think it's
18:48you're going to pay for money so that would have to be enough now the guests must pay what they
18:55think
18:55their stay was worth I think so the cash will be kept under wraps until the end of the competition

21:01facilities six i think that's very harsh yeah small room the hotel has a smaller room and a bigger room
21:07and you can choose to upgrade you're entitled to choose problem with water temperature and well that
21:12was sorted so a bit harsh i've never come across anyone wanting it that exceptionally hot flickering
21:17light in ensuite we'll have to check that one out and change it it's a quick fix overpowering
21:22wallpaper well that's down to personal preference how did you sleep nine mattress a little too firm
21:29for me but it was still comfortable that's fair kind of know what's coming but should we find out
21:38would you stay here again no would you host her again no i certainly feel like at least one person's
21:48been playing the game rather than playing fair it's payment day next it's gonna be tense
21:55next time the hosts face the final showdown i've been looking forward to this as bills are paid
22:01so that's a 50 pounds underpayment scores are settled you're looking down your nose at what we're
22:10providing and that isn't fair and the winner announced and the winner is we're going to come on
22:17here to make friends and i suggest we go and join the club
