00:00I remembered that I have free will,
00:01so I turned pot pie into a soup.
00:03I couldn't stop eating it.
00:04The most genius part is turning a sheet of puff pastry
00:06into croutons.
00:07You just slice the sheet, give them a little egg wash
00:10and flaky salt sprinkle, and let them puff in the oven.
00:12Then we're gonna turn pot pie filling into a soup
00:14by softening the veggies in butter,
00:16cooking garlic and thyme, coating everything in flour,
00:19deglaze that pan with white wine,
00:20and slowly stir in chicken broth.
00:22Then add potatoes and let it simmer until they're fork tender.
00:25Brown out the soup with shredded chicken,
00:27frozen peas, and heavy cream, and stir it all together.
00:29It's a perfect switch up of one of my favorite foods,
00:31and I will definitely be making these guys again.
00:34This is genius.
00:35It's so good.
