The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has welcomed proposals to set up a special court for serious road accidents, particularly those involving fatalities.

Its director-general, Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli, said JPJ would support the move if implemented, but noted it could have implications, including costs and manpower needs.
