00:00Suns in a similar position trying to get themselves out of a position
00:03that they don't want to be in.
00:04I don't know if that's possible, but we'll find out.
00:06Boy, the Hornets have had a great year.
00:07They're five-and-a-half-point favorites tonight, total of 222-and-a-half.
00:12I know they covered a huge line the other day.
00:14Can they cover this?
00:16Not a huge line, but a mid-sized line against Phoenix tonight.
00:20See, this is one of those situations, like you kind of talked about,
00:23where you have teams down the stretch where you just have to look
00:26at individualized matchups and look at what it means to them
00:28in the standings.
00:29So you have two teams, as you mentioned, in the west and the east
00:31going head-to-head here.
00:32Suns in the middle of the thick of things sitting in that seventh seed,
00:35but they don't really have, like, they're pretty much going to be
00:38at that seventh spot.
00:39They could still jump into the sixth spot possibly if they lose down the stretch
00:42every single game.
00:43They could probably fall out of that seventh spot.
00:45But the Hornets, on the other hand, sitting at eighth right now.
00:48And, Craig, between the Hawks, who were fifth, who have been hot,
00:50super hot, and the Heat in tenth, there's only like four-and-a-half games
00:53between those five teams right there.
00:56This Hornets team is right in the middle of that.
00:58So at home, this is why I think the spread is sitting where it's at here.
01:01I think that this game just means a little bit more for the Hornets.
01:03Now, in normal situations, I would lean with the Suns and the points
01:06just because I do think that this team is very good,
01:08and I do think that this is a situation where they could cover that five-and-a-half.
01:11But I think the Hornets come out with a little bit more intensity tonight
01:14just because of what they see is happening around them in the conference.
01:19You know, the Hawks, they've been fantastic.
01:21Like I mentioned, the 76ers out of nowhere are looking like they're going to make
01:24some noise too.
01:25So the Raptors have been falling off.
01:26I think this is a chance for the Hornets to kind of reestablish themselves
01:29and possibly even try to climb out of the play-in.
