00:00The final games of the play-in tournament, which starts, Joe, 7.30 p.m. Eastern from Orlando.
00:05How did we get here?
00:06The Charlotte Hornets knocked off the Miami Heat.
00:08The Orlando Magic lost to the Philadelphia 76ers.
00:11The Magic, the higher-seeded team.
00:13They'll be the home team tonight, but not the favorites, Joe.
00:16The Charlotte Hornets opened up as a four-point favorite,
00:18but we're getting some buyback in the marketplace here, Joe.
00:22Minus threes and minus three-and-a-halves across the board,
00:24and a total of 218-and-a-half.
00:27Hornets, Magic from Orlando.
00:29What's the spread line tonight?
00:31Well, yeah, people must have went back and re-watched the LaMelo ball experience,
00:36where you look like you're going to run away with the game,
00:38and then LaMelo does everything in his power to bring the other team back into the game
00:42and then eventually make some sort of ridiculous shot to actually win the game.
00:46But that is what the Hornets have been.
00:49And listen, Con Canipple was on the bench for a lot of that game, Donnie,
00:54so, you know, not exactly seeing it well.
00:57So I get it.
00:58There are some concerns on the Charlotte side, and namely, you know, never been here,
01:04never done this, Donnie.
01:05This is a very raw team with not a ton of experience.
01:08So I get it.
01:09But my goodness, anybody that has watched the Jekyll and Hyde offense of the Orlando Magic this year,
01:16it is kind of hard to look at that team and think that they're going to have enough firepower to
01:21be able to get it done here.
01:22Stranger things have happened.
01:24I think, Donnie, this is going to be a race.
01:26I think it's a lower-scoring game.
01:28I think the first team to 109, let's say, actually wins this game.
01:33Game number two tonight, 10 p.m. on a Friday.
01:36It's going to be the Golden State Warriors taking on the Phoenix Suns.
01:39You take a look at the Phoenix Suns, how they got here.
01:41Well, they lost their game similar to Orlando.
01:43Game number two, they're going to have in their own building.
01:45And you watch the Warriors knock off the Clippers.
01:48So the winner is going to move on into the playoffs.
01:50The loser is going home.
01:51The favorites in this game, it's actually the Phoenix Suns, Joe.
01:54They opened up as a 2.5-point favorite.
01:55But if now, as you see the graphic, move to 3.5-point favorites here in the total,
01:59which opened up around 217.5, Joe.
02:02Actually bet up to 219.5.
02:04Question once again, what are we getting from Steph Curry?
02:07Sensational in the second half against the Clippers, dropping 35 points.
02:11Warriors-Suns tonight, Joe.
02:12What is the spread line for you?
02:14Well, I mean, listen, both of these teams have serious issues, Donnie,
02:19if we're being honest here, right?
02:21Phoenix, though, and Golden State for their part.
02:24Yeah, I mean, listen, they have both been very good defensively at stretches this season here.
02:29And it's really what carried Golden State a lot of the way without Steph Curry.
02:34And then, of course, we know Phoenix can be very disruptive defensively,
02:38but they weren't disruptive enough at home to beat the Portland Trailblazers,
02:43who chucked up more than 50% of their shots from three.
02:47And now you're going to have the same type of team at Golden State doing the same thing.
02:51But it is tough to win two games on the road in these play-in spots, Donnie, to advance.
02:56I agree.
02:58I think Phoenix should be the favorite.
03:00It doesn't shock me that the line is moving that way.
03:04But I also wouldn't shock me if Phoenix loses outright because Golden State,
03:09three is more than two, and Golden State takes more threes than Phoenix likes to shoot.
03:13If they make enough of them, Donnie, Golden State will be advancing to OKC.
