00:31theft of food. Parents of the several hundred teenagers who gathered in Clapham have been
00:38warned to take responsibility by the police and make sure that they know where their children
00:44are. The Metropolitan Police said there will be further arrests as officers go through CCTV
00:49and body-worn camera footage of what happened. After unrest on Saturday, 100 police officers
00:57were sent to Clapham on Tuesday. Four officers were assaulted along with one member of the
01:03public. Similar scenes were also seen in Birmingham, the city centre, on Friday after schools there
01:09broke up for the Easter holidays. Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch earlier this week warned
01:15that the scenes in Clapham were a much bigger problem than is being recognised. While reform's
01:21Nigel Farage has said recent unrest in Clapham is evidence of the societal breakdown which led
01:27him to stand for Parliament.
