What do you like to get up to when the sun shines? When the thermometer rises, do you head to one of our stunning parks, or perhaps you like to keep cool indoors and make plans with family and friends?

00:00When it's sunny and it's hot, I think park spaces in Leeds are brilliant.
00:04If you go Hyde Park, if you go around A Park, it's really nice.
00:08You've got a good vibe going around there, so I would definitely check those spots out.
00:12Around Hyde Park, it might be the best place in the summer to go to.
00:16Or we could probably go for a hike.
00:18Probably, yeah, somewhere. Rainwaves or Wakefield, yeah.
00:21I think personally for me on a sunny day, I actually really like going to a place in Kirkstall.
00:26It's called Arcade Club, which I know sounds a bit antisocial for a really nice day.
00:30I lead the wellbeing walks for Opel in Leeds 60.
00:34Two of the walks I'd recommend people do, you don't even need to walk, you can just sit.
00:39One is Leeds University campus to see the art, and that is beautiful.
00:45And also call at the two galleries.
00:48It's free, and you can have a leaflet and just walk around in your own time.
00:53And then the other one is Waterloo Place, where we have our own version of the New York City High
01:01Line.
01:01There's nice parks, and they have nice forest parts of them, which I really like to go on when it's
01:05sunnier.
01:07Because with the trees and stuff, you get a lot of shade, so you can just chill for a bit,
01:10and it's just really nice.
01:12Temple Newsome and Roundy Park are really beautiful places to visit as well.
01:16I do that walk many times. Very good.
01:18Another really nice thing to do is food around here is really nice.
01:21So if you can find somewhere maybe with outdoor seating, that is another really nice thing to do with some
01:26spare time.
01:27I'll be tanning.
01:29Tanning.
01:29Tanning.
