00:36a three-goal comeback so i had a little extra in there i i've been saving that one up judd

00:41you look at this team what has like really stood out in your opinion over these last you know four
00:47five six seven games uh well they've they've beaten some high-end opponents they've beaten them on the
00:52road um you know the way they've defended they they play that dallas stars team and i understand they
00:58weren't completely at full strength but they still had most of their guns going and you held
01:03an elite offensive team to only 16 shots on goal that was impressive you know more so than that
01:10you know i think if you look at at some of these games um so the dallas stars game is
01:15a good example
01:15so that's a 2-2 game heading into the third period win a period win a game that was one
01:19of the things
01:20that brick always talked about and all of a sudden you pulled away from one of the best teams in
01:24the
01:24national hockey league and they had a similar performance against the minnesota wild and then
01:29look at at some of the character wins and greg just played the highlight from uh the columbus game
01:34that's a team you could be potentially fighting with for a playoff spot you come from three down
01:39after an awful first period win a game uh you win when you're behind on the road in buffalo and
01:45in
01:45detroit you know and i think it's the resolve as much as uh making key plays at key times that's
01:51really stood out for me wiggy we heard i don't i can't even remember at this point because this
01:55winning streak is going so long now whether it was last week or the week before when marco stern
02:00called out all the guys except for uh your goalie in that last loss that they had how do you
02:07think
02:07that that lit a fire under these guys to play at the level that they've been playing at now well

02:14a good question mego and i think uh when it comes to that i think good teams have an awareness
02:19of exactly what's going on and how they're playing and i think that they realized that
02:23nad needed to pick it up and they have so if you look at the month of march especially the
02:29way it
02:29ended where you had to play who you had to play against they finished a grueling month 10-3-3

02:36in many ways that has put them on the verge of a playoff spot but if you even widen out
02:41and look at
02:42a bigger picture for this bruins team and i think that they've kind of gone under the radar
02:46they are 22-6-6 since january 1st there's only one other team in the league and that's buffalo
02:54that's played better than they have well and you know we but curtis brings it up all the time
03:00you end up with a hot goaltender in the in the playoffs and the uh uh the the future is

03:06is uh limitless i feel like it's more difficult to play goalie though if you're standing on your head
03:12but but uh jeremy swayman has has has been incredible and then you have at least from my
03:19perspective some guys like zaka or charlie mcavoy who i had questions about have elevated their play
03:29i think uh greatly as well of late that that they have greg and you know if you look at
03:35the bruins
03:35again in a wider view they're an interesting team because the way that marco sturm has them aligned
03:41and i know oftentimes we go first line second line third line i don't know if you can necessarily say
03:47that with the bruins because you have your leading scorer and david posternach playing on one line with
03:51fraserman you have your leading goal scorer and morgan geeky playing with elias linhome on a different
03:56line and your best trio overall and you mentioned paul zaka victor arvidsson and casey middlestad
04:02that's another combination entirely in the fourth line they were creating some carnage uh against
04:09the dallas stars the other night against a really good d crew so the bruins have a lot of balance
04:14up front and i think that's really worked in their favor you got wiggy's interest when he said breast
04:19trio slip up hey nothing better than none add a little breast and hockey talk when you start to
04:29look at what this bruins team has been you know what they have been on throughout the season they
04:34struggled on the road you got seven games left five of them are on the road your next four are
04:39on the
04:39road what do you think the focal point has to be for them you know moving forward especially closing

05:32on the road heading into this road trip and all of them were impressive wins in detroit in buffalo
05:38in columbus and all three they had to come from behind uh in the third period in order to win
05:44those
05:45games so i think that they've started to get some traction on the road i think that's really good
05:49this is not going to be an easy trip and even though florida is out of the playoffs and they're
05:53last in the atlantic division they thumped the ottawa senators who had playoff aspirations in their
05:59last game they scored twice in the first two shifts and easily won that game so the bruins have
06:04to be ready to go and i think the other thing that's going to be interesting on this trip you're
06:08going
06:08to face maybe or arguably the two top teams in the eastern conference you're going to see tampa
06:14and carolina uh the bruins have beaten carolina that came at home you're going to see tampa twice
06:20here down the stretch one on the road and one at home uh and i think that that saturday game
06:26will
06:26have a lot of intensity to it uh tonight sorry migo uh panthers uh have have sat a lot of
06:34guys in
06:34advance of the playoffs so i you really this you should win this game tonight well but that said you
06:41know greg a lot of those guys were injured and um brad marshan is one of those guys who's out

06:45the lineup for the time being they're missing a whole host of really good players uh alexander
06:49barkov hasn't played all season long um but again you know they put a sixth spot on the ottawa senators
06:56uh and linus allmark in their last game so the bruins have to be ready to go um because you
07:02know if i think
07:03for them they've put themselves in a good position to make the playoffs but there's still so much more
07:09that you have an opportunity to be able to do if you're able to capitalize on these last few games
07:15so when you look at the playoff picture judd who is the team in the eastern conference that
07:23terrifies you from the perspective of the matchup with the bruins is it the lightning is it carolina
07:28who is the nightmare matchup either in the first round or down the line i have a hard time saying

07:34there's a nightmare with any of them i i don't see you know a team in that conference that the
07:39bruins can't beat uh they've already shown they can beat carolina i think the big question mark is
07:45tampa and when the bruins play them uh i believe that victor hedman will not be in the lineup he's
07:51away for personal reasons you know you're talking about the captain of the team and one of the best
07:55defensemen in national hockey league history and in victor hedman and andre andre vasilevsky has
08:01put himself uh in hall of fame category uh for the way that he has played i think that's the
08:07one
08:08team that i'll be interested to see how the bruins stack up with here in these last two games of
08:13the
