00:02as we said at the top this is big one I think he's shooting extremely too far
00:06out and shooting out here by the hash mark he needs to move in some feet
00:11closer to the line and he might have some more success second thing is you're
00:15not gonna get plays run for you so you might as well go get offense rebounds
00:19you might as well run in transition there's ways to get yourself involved
00:22offensively than just sit at the three-point line and shoot three-point
00:26shots Sexton on the attack who's zealous closed out by Jackson
00:31Mon is bullying his way inside left it short with the left hand Yabusele
00:36offensive rebound Sexton at a hot first half misfires to start the second half I
00:42see the intensity bulls come in here defensively the stage just to finish up
00:47your thigh Patrick Williams is average shot distance this year has been 17 feet
00:54that's by far a career high Thompson hits a three so that's gone from 12 feet his
01:00rookie year 13 14 14 16 17 that's the average field goal attempt distance for
01:07Patrick Williams at his career and sometimes I feel like he just settled for
01:11that shot like he doesn't you know he's a big strong guy get to the basket you know he
01:18settles for that three a lot there and he hits it you know he's going through a
01:23stretch he hadn't hit it in a while but but you've got to get yourself easier
01:27baskets you know you've got to find ways to try to be a little bit more efficient
01:31because again they're not running plays for me not coming down saying this run
01:34three down four down on him Huff denied Boozell is deterred him at least
01:39defensively Pacers on the run out Kobe Brown puts it in as they see percentage
01:47of threes has been a career high 56% of Patrick Williams the shots have been
01:53three-pointers another Bulls turnover their 13th of the night Jackson on the run
01:58out and was able to get it in before Boozell has flagged him down for a block
02:0393 to 69 28 points off of 13 Bulls turnovers for Indiana so not only have
02:10they turned the Bulls over but they've been efficient in doing so cashing them
02:15in the baskets Okoro to Boozell is off the second chance opportunity that's a
02:19three his third of the night modest has 17 to lead the Bulls four Bulls in double
02:25figures for Pacers in double figures
02:39Jackson to switch Huff got tripped and Sexton making sure he's alright Sexton
02:45actually goes over to help Huff Huff oh man Thompson beats the buzzer and puts it
02:50in Ethan Thompson in his first year at the NBA level has had some nice moments
02:54tonight is one of them 15 points four or five from three five of seven for the
02:59field Yabusele off target on a three here comes Thompson eight for 22 deep pull up
03:09by Thompson won't go but a foul on the Bulls in the rebound action to be on
03:14Collins Sexton
03:19this is a kind of trip and then in common sense of being a good teammate gets
03:24good exposing as he made up to my good sportsman yeah I'm sorry you can't be
03:29helping him out but I'm sorry I'm sorry we can't be helping him out I'm that old guy
03:34get off my lawn get off my lawn that's me don't help me my man Illinois lottery number of the
03:42night from
03:42downtown he's about to catch up to Ben Gordon and then the two guys in front of
03:47him Kobe White and Zach Levine who have put together the most prolific three-point
03:51shooting years in Bulls history
03:56Yabusele defending Siakam who gets the ball back and in rhythm perfectly floats it
04:01up and in well he shot that was serious arc he's got that rainbow working I mean
04:09with the way you've seen this team play tonight it's hard to believe that they've
04:13lost this many games
04:14well as Yabusele score I think of what you said a few years ago about the
04:18Warriors the year where Steph and Klay were both out and a lot of different
04:21guys started to get an opportunity it's an offensive foul here on Huff a lot of
04:27different guys got an opportunity and then they came right back after an injury
04:29plagued year and were right back in the thick of the playoff chase and making a deep
04:33run so I imagine that's Indiana's goal right plus they're gonna get a top flight
04:37draft pick more than likely Rick Carlisle they got a Hall of Fame coach
04:41future Hall of Famer right there and they're getting a good look at some of
04:44these guys to see who's gonna be in the rotation next season you know Huff's gonna
04:49be there in Siakam and then Kobe Brown has looked really well
04:55Rosella's nice save rotate to a 4-0 driving in and scores and they'll have most of
05:02these guys under contract McConnell just signed a new deal Nibhard will be I
05:08believe a restricted free agent at the end of this season if I'm not mistaken
05:12Neesmith will have another year on his contract
05:15Huff's gonna earn some money from somebody and I think the Pacers are going to keep
05:19there's a nice putback by Brown Brown is looking really good tonight sure as six
05:26or seven to the field 13 points these guys are getting significant run Brown
05:33sticking with booze Ellis Jones somehow out of the pack he blows through his goals
05:48it's a Pacers team that had its first 50 win season in more than a decade last year on a
05:56Coro as Thompson was shooting it it's a late whistle that's a late whistle too it is a
06:03foul because he didn't give him a landing space it looked like that but then that was a late
06:06whistle almost waiting to see if it went in oh boy that's but it looks like he's
06:11coming forward on his shot I think the shuffle by a Coro and then that's what
06:16he's telling Mark Davis he's saying like no if Thompson's moving forward and how
06:21can I be called for that but I understand it as you as Andy you've talked about a
06:26lot Stacy if you slide underneath you they're probably gonna call a foul and
06:30rightfully so behind the three and now he's coming forward just a little bit yeah and I
06:36think Isaac was saying he I had turned I was moving to the side I think he was trying to
06:40avoid it he wasn't trying to do anything purposefully malicious there obviously but
06:45it is a tough break but again you're not out there to try to block this shot yeah if you
06:50want to do is you just want to close out under control Rob Dillingham did it in the
06:55corner here in the first quarter where he just got a hand up he didn't try to block the shot
06:59he
06:59slid out there under control got a hand up and the pacer player missed a shot we a lot of
07:06times
07:06you see these guys coming out there half trying to block the shot and half time trying to run
07:10him off this off the line there's that's where they get in trouble and if you're consistent with
07:15your closeouts a you're gonna avoid fouls and B and I think this is probably the
07:19thing that most defenders think about they don't want to get beat off the dribble right
07:23they don't want a shot fake and they're in the air and then they get beat off the
07:26dribble well if you close out the same way every time and you have a certain
07:30spot that you stop and get your hand up rather than leaning forward to try to
07:34block a shot that is very unlikely that you're gonna block Yabusele draws the
07:39foul on the dunk attempt as long as you're closing out consistently under
07:42control you're probably gonna win your closeout more often than you lose it but
07:46one of the problems that they're facing is because so many teams shoot three-point
07:51shots they're trying to run them off the three-point line that's where they get
07:54their momentum coming out there and they can't stop because they're trying to
07:57get them to run offline these guys gonna shoot threes regardless yeah even if
08:01they even if you close out and you run them off he's gonna drive and kick so
08:04what are you gonna do to make it harder on them and that's as you've talked about
08:07just get a hand up get a hand up control distort the vision and that's what the
08:11point of the hand you know you talked about it you've said it I remember Mark
08:15Jackson saying a hand down man down right the reason you have your hand up is to
08:19distort the vision of a shooter they are looking at the back of the rim great
08:24shooters are looking at the same spot on the rim all the time and if you distort
08:28their vision and take that away momentarily that helps you try to defend
08:32that without having to get into the body Pat Riley is probably the first
08:36coaches in the analytics I mean seriously he's a friend he's one of the first
08:40coach to do that he get a stat when guys shoot unguarded jumpers with their
08:46percentages are all across the floor the three-point line and what their
08:48percentages are with a contested jump this this is breaking stuff in the 1990s and
08:54what he found out was guys who contested shots cleanly got a hand up those guys
08:59struggled shooting in their field goal percent now this generation the the
09:04guarded shot the contested shot is welcome like yeah we want you to shoot a
09:08contested three well Pat Riley probably should make a little while I should
09:14have a little different from my team like guarantee Miami contest shots and they
09:18probably keep this down on them well the whole league does now the contested
09:22shots is a across the league line I'll actually try to look it up here in these
09:26next couple but as far as like how they defend it yeah yeah I see what you're saying
09:30they come out with a hand up and they do not foul they just make you shoot over it
09:35they're extended here Pat Riley used to keep a number of every player that you
09:39play every team that we played against he would say hey you know Allen Houston
09:43shoots you know 62% unguarded from the corner but he shoots 35% when you close out
09:49and contested shot so here's some some interesting numbers for you the most
09:54contested two-point shots Hornets Pacers Bulls most contested three-point shots
10:02Thunder Heat and Bulls so sure enough Miami's in that mix and again as you
10:06said the Bulls are closing out it's not as if they're not but under control is the
10:10big factor because the Bulls also are in the league leaders of fouling three-point
10:15shooters yes Sexton almost committed a foul there and ends up being an offensive
10:19rebound out of bounds it stays here Miller last to touch with nine to shoot
10:29the Bulls but because this is a heavily three-point shooting league this is why
10:35you see a lot of the switching because coaches feel like if we switch we keep
10:39someone on a three-point shooter at all times but I'm a firm believer that when
10:42you switch as much as these teams do you're constantly in mismatch situations
10:47whether it's point guards versus bigs or big versus smaller guys you're constantly in
10:52mismatch which now you're forced to help Adam your first to help somebody on
10:56double-team in the post Wow look at the ball movement and another sloss and slam
11:01and Billy Donovan frustrated that there wasn't a call with Leonard Miller shot it
11:05at the other end but nobody got back on defense they were cross-matched that whole
11:09possession see right now you see how they all run back now they're trying to just
11:12stop the ball there's a mismatch yep
11:16there's Williams in the open floor he's gonna stop to take a little bit of deep
11:21that's again that's probably a foot further back or maybe a half a foot
11:24further back than you wanted to shoot he had that in his mind he was gonna take
11:28that yeah all the way now Dillingham a foul in a mismatch now it's a side out
11:32foul it's a foul on the floor but that's a mismatch that Indiana just took
11:35advantage of see again if you send three guys to the offensive rebound your small
11:39forward power forward and center okay you send those three guys to the
11:43offensive last every single time the three the small forward power incentive just in
11:47half and listen wherever you get your podcasts
12:00Pacers in control top and underneath try to reverse it up Bruce Ellis was there on the defense
12:08solid job in isolation that side
12:13there's a coral banging away on Thompson drew the contact and it'll be a foul on Thompson his third and
12:20it'll send Isaac Okoro to the free throw line

13:05Isaac Okoro's got six points
13:08here is Jones nice quick first step good recovery by modest who zealous to force the traveling violation
13:16obviously he's got that length and size advantage there and he used it well
13:24the defense by modest that time made him have to adjust here for that move some contact out there
13:30said a couple of nice isolation defensive possessions Williams lost it on the way up I think Slauson may have
13:37reached in
13:38it and I think that's a look with the lineup calling it'll be a Slauson foul sending Williams to the
13:43line
13:49minimal contact but a foul Williams gets the break be more artist hat series box containing all six hats still

14:46Jones wow little sweeping banked book to score that one Kim Jones
14:56who zealous can't get free Okoro
14:59drives and kicks Jones is open that's a three
15:04Jones knocks it down
15:10here comes Shepard
15:11he got shut off so a lob it back out for Toppin
15:16excellent dunker
15:18great pedigree from his days coming up in New York
15:22Jones looking for the dunker right over the top on cue for Toppin
15:26they recognize a mismatch that time the Bulls
15:29and Trey Jones on just throw it up to the rim
15:33Jones goes bang into the paint and he ends up drawing some major contact it'll be a foul on Taylor
15:40Peter
15:40two shots for Trey Jones coming
15:47I'll beg your pardon it was a foul on the floor I believe
15:50yeah foul on the floor side out
15:52that was the last Pacer foul to give
15:54Micah Potter will come back into the game
15:56he's coming off a strong effort in Miami where he got some more run
16:00a couple of nice games 20 point game to his name this year
16:04former Utah Jazz
16:06Jones lost it
16:11Williams deflects it
16:13preventing the easy two for Slauson
16:27a little bit of a bobble
16:28hot potato out of bounds kicked out by Slauson so it's Bulls ball
16:45Jones guarding Jones Trey finds Patrick Williams
16:49Shepard the rebound
16:53Ben Shepard wants to break free and he scores
16:57Ben Shepard is
16:59a really good offensive player
17:01you don't really get to see a lot of that because
17:03all the guys that they have
17:05but with Ben Matherin being gone
17:06he may be a guy to figure into the rotation next year
17:11Shepard trying to get loose
17:14Slauson kicks it out
17:16he's one of their better three-point shooters
17:19he's been a really solid rotational piece
17:22that's a deep Micah Potter three right to Jones
17:27here is Shepard
17:28he's got handles
17:30a little step back for three
17:32that won't go
17:33rebound Boozelis
17:34he's got nine boards
17:36seventeen point six assists
17:37Okoro drives through the traffic
17:40and a foul is called
17:48Jones foul sends Okoro to the straight

18:15oh
18:28what a
18:30hole
18:31call
18:39Taylor Peter gets free little two-man game outside rebound grab by yabu see
18:44the Williams dribbled it out about is the 16th giveaway by the papers Pacers put up 39 in the
18:56first 44 in the second 31 here in the third with still 85 ticks to go that's a knock away
19:05by yabu
19:05saleh took it away from Potter Jones Williams three no tip to Miller through the contact
19:14a good finish yeah he hit the ground hard Potter stayed vertical defensively it's five on four
19:21Indiana now Miller rejoins the play tail and Peter drifts to the corner and hands a three
19:28shoot it get on it it's his second triple of the night
19:36Jones
19:40rotate
19:43Okoro they left him open so he'll take it and knock it down
19:47that's been a nice meter of improvement for isaac okoro the three-point shot he's made
19:53all three of his field goal attempts and two of them from outside
19:59shepherd with the handles but
20:03can't get away from yabu saleh
20:05there is peter that won't go yabu saleh tapped it a poros got it
20:11he's lost it knocked it away we talked about it he's got good defensive iq and he was able to
20:18stop the break
20:25rick carlisle going back to the bench
20:27ethan thompson will come in hall of famer when it's all said or done for rick carlisle 66 years of
20:34age
20:35now in his fifth season back with indiana he's got over a thousand wins recorded that earlier this year
20:41in fact it snapped the 13 game losing streak the record at the time
20:48final seconds third quarter
20:56it's jones the kick to okoro forced it up and that'll take us to the end of three
21:03all pacers they outscore the bulls by eight more in that third frame
21:11there is the number of wins over a thousand for rick only doc rivers
21:16among active coaches has more congratulations to the chicago native doc rivers
21:21part of the uh nominees for the naismith hall of fame along with
21:25candace parker
21:28here is lawson that won't go
21:31thank you
21:33doc how do you feel about getting uh getting that type of honor
21:39took a lot of years to get this
21:41and hopefully one day i get another ring
21:52doc's my boy man
21:53yeah man we love that
21:54doc got me doc got me
21:55hey i heard you heard you do my boy
21:57hey man
21:58you did sound like you know
22:01proviso he's sold doc river is part of a great lineage of players that came out of proviso
22:08he's
22:08bowlin williams forget how good a player he was too
22:11absolutely
22:13multiple time all-star oh yeah yeah yeah marquette i mean he was a superstar marquette
22:20they uh retired his jersey right in the rafters in milwaukee i used to watch marquette
22:27the peter the short it's the wife's mark and de paul all the time over the two teams i saw
22:34more of
22:35sure the wgm
22:38turned out a 17-year career i think it was
22:43williams at the only three yeah that's it everything's coming up short for him too
22:47all these threes are short he's by the hash mark yeah
22:51that's like denzel valentine range
22:57not the shot
23:03dillingham lost it on the way up into the hands of slosson
23:07miller back with the block nicely done
23:09he has it all the way down the floor well they'll try to reward it a little euro step though
23:15left
23:15it short on the lay of the test and potter clears it
23:21oh what a nice strong play by shepard
23:25shepard just just a physical player again you don't appreciate you don't see him a lot he comes
23:32in when they're healthy he's a rotational guy he's in there to make shots but now man you can see
23:38he's
23:38a playmaker he can get to the rim he may take that matter role he wants it all and he
23:45wants it now
23:47won't go potter had it knocked away it's a foul
23:51yeah now now we're gonna take a look at this shot where we're gonna come up frozen here on the
23:55tele-trader now see where he's at right now i mean this is this is the hash mark there go
24:00ahead and roll it
24:03you almost steps even further back yeah that is a little bit too far out of his range
24:10and the threes that it just feels like it again i'm sure we'll have some some
24:16numbers to back this up at some point but just anecdotally watching him come up short on so
24:22many threes you wonder if just the distance alone of some of these shots is having a significant
24:27impact that is a range of like a steph curry the clay thompson's of the world that's that's a little
24:33bit too far he's hit some of those shots yeah of course of course but when you're not making shots
24:37and you're
24:37going through a little stretch where you're not hitting shots you might want to move in a couple
24:41of steps you might want to put that ball on the floor and look to attack a little bit more
24:45and so you can get that shot anytime on the shot clock anytime you can get that shot
24:52121 to 95 pacers in control
24:59here is dillingham working on shepherd left it short
25:07so patrick williams on 20 to 24 foot shots now i don't half of those are not threes nice drive
25:14by thompson
25:15patrick is shot about 39 percent he has taken 165 attempts from beyond 25 feet this year and he's
25:27shooting 34 percent on those shots 165 attempts between 25 and 29 feet miller short
25:38you wonder what would you look at his stats or twos compared to threes
25:41because he takes a lot of threes well like i said 56 percent of his field goal attempts this year
25:47the
25:48highest percentage of his career a bit from three-point range so that's gone up year in and year out
25:54remember as a rookie he was a basket attacker he was a mid-range player when demar de rosen was
25:59here he was
25:59encouraging patrick to shoot that shot olbrick nice little twist up and he's able to lay it in he's
26:05shooting 40 percent from two and 35 percent from three yep
26:11but with the guy with his frame
26:14he should be born the attack
26:17steal by college sex
26:18he's out of that number everybody too close oh wow slosson came out of nowhere
26:24and just flip that ball away slossons had some big blocks he has had a really nice game at both
26:30ends but again watch the bulls break look how close everybody is one guy can guard all three of them
26:35shepherd was basically able to keep an eye on all three guys miller and williams and sexton and that
26:41allows slosson to come over and just concentrate on the shooter again you got to get out on that fast
26:47break
26:47you got to feel lanes and be wide
26:51yuki played seven minutes in the first half he kicks to olbrick for three oh that's tipped i think
26:56yuki may have gotten away with a foul he pushed him in the back when they didn't see he hit
27:01back there
27:02pushed him there's sexton navigating against thompson it ribs good yeah i think yuki got away with one there
27:08he got away with a little push
27:13listen you know what brady just said being small help sometimes
27:18listen who would you rather be if you have to sit on a plane between you and i right
27:22there's the lay-in by peter that's that's the one that's i got that advantage my man
27:28peter
27:30a good screen by olbrick who gets the pass on the roll but kicked it out near turnover it is
27:36peters on the run out and he'll lay it in
27:41billy donovan just got a perplexed look on his face at this point what more could he do
27:46patchwork lineup for the bulls but it's a nice drive on dillingham pacers patchwork lineup has
27:52it had any problems see yakam scored 25 and 21 minutes he probably won't see the floor the rest of
27:57the
27:58night i'd like i'd like to see matt mcclung out here a little bit sure no reason not to right
28:04there's
28:04a turnover yuki on the run eyes up finds olbrick hey lazy i want to shout out uh yoko miyaji
28:15who is an
28:16excellent long time los angeles-based journalist she she actually sent us a message after yuki had some
28:24extended minutes and we were talking about the history of japanese players there's a nice drive by
28:29kobe brown i don't think he was named after kobe steak he was actually named after the player
28:33oh dillingham had a little pump and a five lays it in a chance at a three-point play that
28:38was nice
28:39i thought he's gonna turn that over yeah i thought i think he wanted to then he may have lost
28:42the handle
28:42for a moment we got hit yeah he did well he lays it in i love a chance at three
28:49we're going to give
28:50you a little bit of uh context for what yoko miyaji let us know about the like guys like nick
28:55fizikis who
28:56you know were eventually became a japanese citizen but he had played prior to when he became a japanese
29:02citizen so in japan they basically consider four japanese players who have played in the nba
29:10yuta tabuse yuta watanabe who we remember playing with toronto and washington rui achimura who's
29:17obviously has had great success and then yuki so yuki kalamura obviously here so players born in japan
29:25cam thomas who recently was waived by milwaukee he's obviously a very good scorer was born in japan
29:31his mom was stationed in japan but japan does not grant birthright citizenship so he doesn't have
29:37a japanese passport there's also a few american japanese players japanese american players who
29:44played in the league wat masaka his parents are from japan but he didn't have a passport corey gains his
29:50mom was from or his grandmother was from japan he has a japanese middle name but doesn't have the
29:55passport he played in japan as a professional he's actually the head coach of the women's team
30:00yes in japan right now that's right and nice drive by dillingham and then uh rex walters his
30:07mom from japan same deal didn't have the passport so uh we appreciate yoko giving us some wonderful
30:12context on a country that is trying to build up its profile as a basketball play country and has
30:19nice play by sexton out about these last years rui yuta and yuki have all come out to the nba
30:25just in the last five years alone well yuki's such a star over there yep you know i talked to
30:32her in
30:32oklahoma city you talked to yoko and yoko in okc about yuki and you know yuki wasn't there he was
30:37he was uh
30:38he's in the g-league assignment yeah assignments but i had a good conversation last week oh potter
30:43hits him that's better way of deep but she was telling me how of an impact that he's had
30:52just being here in the nba for the last couple years gabu saleh missed the three he wanted to
30:58dunk it he draws the five and she she also want to tell us how how much the the japanese
31:03fans appreciate
31:04us oh that's really that's really awesome how we give him the love that we give him and uh but
31:09he
31:09deserves it he's a player this is a guy that this is a kid that deserves to be in the
31:12nba you know if you
31:13look in everybody looks at his size you know there's been a lot of small guards in this league
31:18but he rebounds he's tough he's got great vision and he competes taking a look at a potential flagrant
31:26foul here a little contact up top yuki talking with musa dagger yuki born in japan musa born in syria
31:38in japan musa born in france let's see if it's a contact to the head or neck area with follow
31:49-through
31:49that's likely going to be a flagrant foul on jackson because of the follow-through
31:54so likely this is a flagrant one and that was a hard foul too yeah
31:58it's a hard time Jackson's getting some run obviously with the injuries he went from a two-way
32:05contract to a standard deal this year upon review it has been determined that all the criteria for a
32:11flagrant foul present themselves as there is wind up impact and follow-through to the face of yabuseli
32:16therefore this is a flagrant foul penalty one the two free throws that shoot the ball on the side
32:19yep so jackson former windy city bull as well now in his third year with the pacers we'll have that
32:25upgraded and it's gonna be shots in the ball for the bulls mac mcclung and yuki kawamura are out there
32:31with yabuseli olbrick and dillingham miller will get set to check in as well so the minutes totals
32:39tonight okoro 26 modest 29 yabuseli 25 sexton 26 jones 25 dillingham 23 miller 17 williams 13
32:51mcclung 5 lachlan with 12 and yuki with 10.
32:58pinstripes are back 25 26 statement edition uniform you can shop the jersey in full retail
33:02collection of the uc and online at shop.bays.com
33:07rishon yabuseli born in france to congolese parents was a pro in france and in china
33:13before he went to boston for a couple of seasons went back to china went back to france
33:18spent three years playing for the outstanding club real madrid before he went to philly last year was
33:24with the knicks this year and then got traded for dale and terry will he'll see his old club on
33:30friday
33:31in the knicks
33:33his first 20-point game of the bull there's a foul didn't call it
33:38yabuseli 20 points tonight on 6 of 12. he's got six rebounds
33:45nice night tonight getting a lot of minutes there's potter for three
33:49a guy who played in the big 10 for a long time michael potter a couple of different schools between
33:56ohio state and wisconsin there's a three by miller
34:04that is the first field goal of the night and rick carlisle will call a timeout with five minutes to
34:10play
34:16to play
34:17number 99 benny the bull celebrating the birthday today was named after ben bentley the first
34:24bulls public relations manager and stadium announcer
34:32five minutes left here in chicago pacers have been in control from the get-go tonight
34:42kobe brown another sweeping hook he's done it with the left hand and now with the right
34:46he's had a nice night tonight
35:02holbrook good cut by mcclung good patience and one play back mcclung getting some more points
35:07getting some more run he's got his second bucket and a chance at the line
35:11well let me tell matt mcclung like you're doing the g-league well out there and be aggressive have fun
35:17both him and yuki
35:19you watching me i've checked him out the g-league games man they they are
35:23really really a good backcourt and they're fun to watch they cut they they pass to each other
35:28there's give and go action and as we said mac mcclung the most prolific g-league scorer
35:34around i think is matt mcclung can get a serious outside shot was consistent
35:40with his athleticism i think that's one of the reasons why he hasn't been able to stick
35:47but he's done everything you asked to ask him to do when he first came with reputation couldn't handle
35:52the ball i haven't seen any of that but if he can if he can get a jump shot like
35:56a consistent yeah
35:57a consistent three-point shooter where he can knock those shots down he's gonna be in this league
36:03again not a ton of chances at the nba level so very small sample size of just 26 percent from
36:10three
36:10point range
36:13very small sample
36:15and then 11 nba games they'd shoot 39 percent in the g-league from three this year that was the
36:23best mark of his career olbrick no look at the athleticism of mac mcclung we know he's got that in
36:29bag finds dillingham rebound slaussen and he would have got that rebound he did of course back one of
36:35two all-time dunk champions to win the slam dunk contest three times and would have wanted this
36:42year would have all easily i would have wanted this year he and nate robinson oh oh man we were
36:47hoping to
36:48see it there but he ends up blowing the layup good job by miller to follow it up yeah he
36:52definitely
36:52would have wanted this year
36:56g-league mvp a couple of years ago
37:02jones out to brown
37:06oh mcclung knocked it away from slaussen
37:10jones yuki for three
37:13nice rebound by miller flips it out for mcclung got it to go
37:21as peter tried to step in i'm going to call him an offensive fowler that's the second
37:25charge that's in mark davis
37:31let the official under the goal call that one
37:35there's a little hesitation there yeah come on that was a musa dagger was the baseline official i
37:40think there and he didn't really have a call so mark okay just came back to it like he was
37:44called a
37:44third strike in the world you're looking for an abs challenge there's what you're saying
37:51oh mcclung gambled that time and that leaves peter open for free rebound
37:56lachlan olbrick he's got eight boards eight points tonight
38:07dillingham miller
38:09pass lawson and one
38:12nice drive by leonard miller who's had a quiet night tonight after
38:17some strong performances
38:19eight points now
38:21he's been impressive with the time that he's been given
38:24you know this is what those games here you know
38:27one of those nights
38:29yeah he had that great stretch in march
38:3214 points a game struggled a bit in memphis and then a bounce back game
38:36with the opportunity monday against san antonio
38:39got eight points tonight again i mean this is basically his rookie year
38:45both him and dillingham they did not play a lot of minutes in minnesota
38:52speaking of minnesota how about io
38:55a phenomenal triple double on monday night against the mavericks there's a three by jones
39:04ios is thriving right now in minneapolis he is he's doing the same things he was doing here with the
39:10exception is that he's he's been running jump shots he's attacking the ball
39:15you know he's getting the ball in transition he's taking some pressure off of anthony edwards
39:20have to carry the ball up the floor all the time you and i were talking on the phone like
39:23there haven't been a lot of triple double players in minnesota timberwolves history right
39:27like kg kevin love had a couple julius randall had three this year that's it
39:33and those are bigger guys this is a guard in the same backcourt as anthony edwards doing that you
39:38made that point to me the other day i was like yeah that's in the same backcourt as one of
39:42the
39:42most prolific players in the league man wrong and one that was a nice explosive move by mac
39:49good stuff from mcclung you'll have a chance at a three-point play
39:56oh he crossed him over nicely done there here's what some of the former bulls are doing right now
40:03i-o a spectacular triple double vucevic is hoping to be back before the playoffs he had that finger
40:09injury he's playing well and kobe white once uh he finally got back from the calf issue he had he
40:15started to play better for a charlotte team that's playing very well and of course they still love the
40:20chicago native dosumu here in the windy city very happy for io his success thompson nice movie finish
40:27just one and you know two of the three guys and maybe kobe but two and three guys are going
40:34to have an
40:35opportunity to play the meaningful playoff games yeah potentially only definitely to go deep and with the
40:42way charlotte's playing i would not count them out absolutely if they don't go in there and just just
40:47like really run through everybody in that play-in series they have been playing phenomenal basketball
40:55one of the turn around for that crew the hornets now the eighth seed as miller gets that one to
41:02go
41:02he's into double figures again yeah charlotte hot on the trail of philadelphia they were still two and
41:09a half back of toronto entering action tonight for a chance to get into the top six that's still a
41:14battle
41:14between toronto atlanta's trying to stay in the top five philly charlotte orlando miami all those teams
41:24still have a chance to move up miami so what is that six teams they're separated by four games with
41:30about you know seven games to go that's leonard miller 11 of his last 12 games he's got double figures
41:37other than that game on saturday in memphis carlotte told the holder out indiana has 49 assists what a
41:48performance offensively they shot 57 for the field they made 23s shot better than 40 percent
41:57led by as many as 28 in this game they're gonna walk out of here
42:02with their first four game sweep of the bulls in six years
42:11two of the games they dominated i mean it was it was impressive it's been impressive
42:16since the 1920 season brady not since the prohibition era just to clarify that'll do it 145 to 126 the
42:25final score pacers have 18 wins this year four of them have come against the bulls
42:33back at it on friday night bulls will take on the new york knicks from madison square guard
42:37and then we are going to cut off the blue
42:3710 to 25
