Transcript
00:00We're here at Carmel Beach Tourist Park where numbers are down going into the Easter long
00:03weekend following the sharp rise in fuel prices. We've talked to a couple of people already and
00:07they said that it has definitely affected their trips. Willingone Council says that numbers aren't
00:13down but there are vacancies still available. This week the Federal Government announced several
00:18changes to the fuel tax exercise to try and reduce the impact of the fuel crisis but the results
00:24still remain to be seen. During a national address on Wednesday night Anthony Albanese
00:29asked and urged people to consider using public transport instead of driving and told motorists
00:34heading on road trips over Easter to only take as much fuel as they needed as the global oil
00:38crisis drags on.
