02:01How did you feel when Brooke pulled out her idol?
02:04When Brooke first pulled out her idol, I was like, it's fake.
02:07Straight away, I leaned over to Sal and I'm like, Sal, it's fake.
02:12And Sal's like, how do you know?
02:14And I'm like, because she's pulling it out before we've even voted.

02:32She had played two idols previously to this and it was always just before the votes were

02:50We remain calm and then we panic.
02:54So then when Keely pulled out her idol, I was like, okay, this is a real one.
02:58And then we were questioning whether she's going to play it for Brooke.
03:01But if she played it for Brooke, then she was going to go home.
03:04Well, supposedly going home.
03:05So it was still a coordination of sticking to the plan because really it should have been
03:10Brooke or Keely going home and not me.
03:13And it was a cold night.
03:14So that kind of helped Brooke hide her idol a bit.
03:18What did you actually see of the idol?
03:20Because I feel like she only brought it out quite briefly.
03:23She had it tucked away in her jumper.
03:25I couldn't see the idol at all.
03:27Like not even a glimpse of it.
03:29And Cameron kept hounding her about, show us your idol, Brooke.
03:34We want to see it.
03:35She's like, no, you've seen it, Cameron.
03:36And Cameron's like, no, I want to see it.

03:39I just want to see this idol.

04:03So let's talk about what actually ended up happening.
04:06So you voted for Keely.
04:07And if my math is correct, and I don't know if it is, that one vote placed elsewhere could
04:12have created some sort of tie.
04:14How do you feel about that now in the cold light of day the next day?
04:17Look, in hindsight, I would never go into a second tribal council with a solid seven
04:23ever again in my life.
04:26Solid seven.
04:27Yeah.
04:27A solid seven as much as you are in Survivor.
04:30You know, the last vote, we all worked together.
04:32We got Mark out.
04:33Really, how many times does it happen a second time in a row?
04:36I was saying that this would be the second time.
04:38And then I wanted to really stir some stuff up after that vote.
04:41And I got voted out.
04:42So I should have done it earlier.
04:44And I, yeah, I should have rocked the boat and not believe the solid seven existed.
04:49But I feel like you were trying to rock the boat.
04:52You were out for to get the returnees.
04:55But I feel like you had pitched Mark several times.
04:58And it kind of just got put out, put out.
05:01But you were on a very smart track because as returnees, we know the game.
05:07We're even better at like looking at idols.
05:09Even Mark said he has a trick that you scan from right to left because you can miss things
05:14if you do it the other way.
05:16And you just, you know, you know the game.
05:18Was it frustrating for you to have these ideas that make sense, but then not be able to kind
05:24of gather the numbers to make it happen?
05:26I really appreciate you acknowledging that, Shawnee.

05:30Because I tried so many times to rally the troops and get those returns out.
05:38I tried multiple times with Mark.
05:40I tried multiple times with Brooke.
05:42And it was just getting people to really consolidate with me on just one vote.
05:48Just let's do it once together.
05:50And I just frustrated me so badly that I just didn't get it over the line.
05:56And it was, yeah, it was, oh my God, I can't even explain.
06:00But I kept trying.
06:02And I just said in the end, are Mark and Brooke super glued to this island or what?
06:07Like seriously, I can't get rid of them.

06:11Is there part of you that wishes you had maybe changed tact and gone for some other
06:16non-returnees?
06:17And if so, who would you have gone for?
06:19Absolutely.
06:20I really wanted to do like a blindside on Loz.
06:24Someone in my final lines just to really shake it up.
06:28Only because I feel like Loz all of a sudden felt like she had a little bit of power and
06:34she was kind of scattery and really running around and talking to everyone.
06:38And I'm watching her like this and I'm like, nah.
06:40Nah, I feel like you've got to go.
06:42You're trying to play too many divisions for me.
06:46So I was definitely going to, the next vote, if I was still there, I was on a train to
06:52get Loz out on a blindside with my little bunch of friends.
06:56Last night, you did seem a little bit annoyed.
07:00You seemed annoyed when the idols came out, annoyed when they were taking too long to play
07:03them.
07:03Where did that annoyance stem from?
07:05I was like, again?
07:08Really?
07:09More idols?
07:10I just like, every single time there's like this plan that Blanche has got and thinks it's
07:16going to happen, there's a freaking idol that pops out of nowhere and goes kapoof.
07:21So it was just so frustrating.
07:23And I think what happened in the end, it was just so freezing cold.
07:28I was completely freezing.
07:29It looked freezing.
07:30It looked so cold.
07:31I was in the comfort of my lounge room.
07:33I'm like, oh my god, PTSD, thank god I'm not there.

07:38And you close, because you lose so much weight, everything's falling off you.
07:42Everything's just so uncomfortable.
07:45And I was like, guys, why are we wasting the time?
07:48Like, there was a solid alliance.
07:51So then, of course, I'm getting frustrated that everyone's changing everything.

07:54You know what I mean?
07:55Like, you're just like, oh my god, I just got to my wits end.
07:58I was like, just vote for god's sake.
07:59It's a frustrating game.
08:00I've said my piece, you've tried and tried, what more can you do?
08:05But it's like when you see them at the tribal scramble and they have to go and talk to 500
08:10different, 500 people, but they have to talk to them 500 times.
08:14I'm like, why are you still running around?
08:19I'm like, you're giving me anxiety.
08:20This should not be happening.
08:21And then you start to be paranoid in paradise that the alliances are all changing.
08:26So, yeah, it's, yeah.
08:27Well, the good thing is that you're in Jewry Villa.
08:29What better place to nurse a grudge than sitting by a pool, drinking a cocktail while
08:34they're still out there?
08:36And I will definitely be holding a grudge.
08:39Speaking of idols, you obviously found a clue for an idol.
08:44Talk us through what happened with that.
08:47Yeah.
08:47You didn't get a chance to play it.
08:49It walked out the door with Asha.
08:51What a massive rookie mistake.
08:54Just the worst possible circumstances of all time.
08:58So I bit into my peanut butter sandwich into a nice hard scroll.
09:02I was like, yes.
09:06In the real world, that's a lawsuit waiting to happen.
09:09Biting into a sandwich and fighting a big old scroll.
09:12I'd be like, oh, I can smell the cash.
09:15On Survivor, you bite into a sandwich.

09:18You chip your tooth and you're like, oh, perfect.

09:23Yeah, exactly right.
09:24So I go back to camp and I'm looking around the shelter and everything like that.
09:30And I'm vertically challenged.
09:31I'm not very tall.
09:32And I've got ridiculously bad eyesight.
09:34So I couldn't find the idol.
09:37So I confined it in Asha because she's tall and all the rest of it.
09:41I've got a scroll and you're going to get a sandwich.
09:45Yes.
09:45How good is that?
09:46It didn't go to faith.
09:47Oh, my God.

09:49So I'm terrible at riddles and I'm blind.
09:52So I need your help.
09:54The riddle is take shelter and in and out.
10:00And she literally found it within 30 seconds.
10:04Around the side, I see this beautiful little package just sitting in this bamboo cylinder.
10:11And I grab it really quickly and I shove it down my face.
10:19So I was absolutely stoked.
10:21And this is a mix in my underwear.

10:25I just found it.
10:26I want to kiss you.

10:31And then we're discussing.
10:32She's like, put your bag right next to my bag and I'll get it in there straight away.
10:36And it just didn't happen.
10:37And then we had to go and do something.
10:40And then we tried again.
10:42And then I could not believe it.
10:45Because she was blindsided.
10:47Brooke was meant to be going home that night.
10:49But no, she's super glued.
10:51So Asha gets voted out and literally walks out the door with my idol in her bag.
10:57She's like, look at your face when that moment was happening.

11:58And we talked about partying together all the time.

12:02I can really relate to someone walking out with your idol because I gave an idol to one
12:08of my friends, Geordie, in Heroes vs. Villains.
12:11And I also watched that idol walk out with one of my closest allies.
12:15So I can fully relate to you.
12:18It is painful.
12:19I'm like, I gave that to you and you didn't use it.
12:22And he still has it, actually.
12:24It's the worst feeling in the world.
12:26I physically felt sick.
12:28Because it didn't have a time frame on it.
12:31I knew that I could use that when I got to merge.
12:34So anyway, you can relate.
12:36It's not a good feeling.
12:37It's not at all.
12:38And you had quite a, like, I feel like you and Asha bonded quite quickly.
12:42So was that sad for your game to see her leave as well?
12:45I was devastated.
12:47I felt like every single person that I got close to got voted out.
12:51That's what we were saying.
12:52So Kat got voted out.
12:53You're like a bad luck charm.

12:57That was devastating.
12:58Hence, no one wanted to be my friend in the end.
13:00No one wanted to be my alliance.
13:01They were scared.
13:02They were like, ah, get too close and you get burnt.

13:08I was devastated because I really liked Asha.
13:11And it was another friend.
13:13And then Lottie went after her.
13:15And I'm like, oh my God, seriously.
13:18It was, yeah, there was four people that I was super close with that got voted out.
13:21And that's like on a, like emotional level, you know, you have these people around you
13:26and for these long days, it's like you need your friends around you to cheer you up and
13:30have someone who you can have like a genuine conversation and connection with.
13:34And then you just get so lonely.
13:36I feel when like one by one, they're like walking away and you're like, oh, okay, well,
13:40there goes that person.
13:42Well, speaking of spending time with people, you are now spending a lot of time with Mark,
13:47someone who you tried relentlessly to get out of this game.
13:52How is breakfast?
13:53Is it awkward?
13:54Yeah.
13:55Cocktails by the pool.
13:56It has been honestly amazing.
13:59He and I have really debriefed about the whole game and he doesn't hold a grudge.
14:05Where's the fun in that?
14:07I know.
14:08I've had a million questions for him and he's been really open and honest.
14:12And I'm actually really glad that it's just he and I at the villa that we've been able
14:15to have these amazing conversations.
14:17So, yeah, no, he's actually opened his arms to me.

14:21I had that Mark train coming so many times.
14:24Well, it won't be you and him for long because someone else is going to be joining soon.
14:29Who is your prediction for who's coming to enjoy a cocktail and a debrief next?
14:34So my prediction is if Simon doesn't win the immunity next, he will be the one on the
14:40chopping block.
14:41If he does win the immunity, I'm guessing Ben will be there because he has had so many votes
14:46in so many tribal councillors in a row.
14:48I feel like there's definitely a steam train coming for him, but they might actually do
14:54a blindside on, I'm hoping, Lossie.

15:01Obviously, the theme of this season is redemption.
15:04And even though you're obviously on the jury now, do you feel like you got any redemption?
15:08I actually do because so my redemption is I'm not going to keep living in the shadows and
15:13I want to be bright like a disco ball and coming out and being 100% Blanche.
15:18I definitely wasn't 100% Blanche, unfortunately, but at the challenges, I feel like I really
15:26did show people how strong and fit that you can be in the middle age and I can't wait for
15:33my daughters to be screaming at the TV watching me do all those challenges because I feel like
15:38that shows the best part of me and that's my redemption.
15:41I wanted to shine as bright as I could and I feel like that's what I did at the challenges.

16:10No, I personally did not.

19:41up our water bottles and we looked down and the well with the water was yellow.

19:47And I just said to the team, I think Don is fully submerged with water bottles and filling
19:52it that way because he was so fast.
19:54Like when you'd go and do it all, it would take you like 20 minutes.

20:01So I go to Don, Don, have you been putting the whole water bottle into the well?
20:05He goes, yeah.
20:06He admitted it straight away.
20:08I'm like, Don, they sit on the dirt.
20:11That's happened on a season with me as well and there was an uproar.

21:12So for me, someone who has played the game from the start to the finish deserves to be there.
21:17So unfortunately, my opinion is Jackson does not deserve to be there.
