00:00We've had some signaling that the U.S. will retake control of the Strait of Hormuz.
00:06At that point, what military posture will be imposed to guarantee safe passage for our allies,
00:12deter our enemies, and demonstrate U.S. dominance in the region?
00:16And also, can you speak to how much America's adversaries of Russia, China, and North Korea,
00:23how much they're supporting Iran's war machine at this point with arms and intelligence
00:28and what we are militarily doing to punish the enemy coalition?
00:34Appreciate both questions.
00:35On the Strait of Hormuz, there are many more vessels flowing through today than there were, as the President has
00:41arranged.
00:41The President has been clear to Iran, open it for business, or we have options, and we certainly do.
00:46And when you look at what the Chairman laid out with the Navy, with the Navy industrial base,
00:50with coastal cruise missiles, with UAVs, with countermine capabilities,
00:53we've been focused from the beginning on trading and defeating those capabilities and limiting their options.
00:59There's lots we're doing as well, some of which is known, some of which is not known, to set the
01:04conditions.
01:05And I think the President was clear this morning in his truth that there are countries around the world
01:11who ought to be prepared to step up on this critical waterway as well.
01:15It's not just the United States Navy. Last time I checked, there was supposed to be a big bad Royal
01:20Navy
01:21that could be prepared to do things like that as well.
01:23So he's pointing out this is an international waterway that we use less than most, in fact, dramatically less than
01:28most.
01:29So the world ought to pay attention and be prepared to stand up.
01:31President Trump's been willing to do the heavy lifting on behalf of the free world to address this threat of
01:36Iran.
01:37It's not just our problem set going forward, even though we have done the lion's share of preparation to ensure
01:43that that straight will be will be open,
01:44which is an outcome that the President's been very clear on.
01:47As far as Russia and China, we know exactly what they're doing, what they are or are not doing.
01:52We don't have to air publicly what all of that is.
01:55But where necessary, we're addressing it and we're mitigating it and or we're confronting it head on.
02:01I don't know if you have anything you want to add.
02:02No, sir. I think you covered it.
02:04Finish the mission.
02:06Get us even more bombs, bigger bombs, more targets.
02:09So the defense of our of our troops and our assets is is max.
02:13I will say on on some of those other assets you talked about air wings, airframes,
02:18there's there's some things adversaries are doing to provide info and intel that they shouldn't.
02:23We're aware of it.
02:24And ultimately, we move things around and don't one of the biggest principles you learn in the military is to
02:30not set patterns,
02:32predictable patterns.
02:34And so we're commanders are working hard to adjust in real time with those systems
02:38and make sure they're in the right places and not easily targetable.
02:40We aim at thempre partner in this division.
02:41That's a veryxm lemon bond in the military in the relocation box.
02:41Now we're going to do this.
02:41So we have to be able to do this.
