00:00Hi, Caroline.
00:01Happy Monday.
00:03Happy Monday.
00:04Happy Monday.
00:04It's raining.
00:05It stopped raining, so I'll take a few questions.
00:07I have a quick question on the trip to China.
00:10Will the President delay that if the war is still going on and on that?
00:15Has the President spoken to China?
00:17Yes, so the President looks forward to meeting with President Xi in China.
00:23This is a trip I know he's long been looking forward to, and I know President Xi has been
00:27looking forward to welcoming President Trump.
00:29As for the dates, as you heard from the President last night, there's a possibility the trip could
00:33be delayed.
00:34We'll keep you posted on that, but these are leader-to-leader conversations that are happening,
00:37so as soon as we have an update, we'll provide the new dates.
00:40Caroline, President Trump says that other countries should now step up to safeguard ships
00:45in the streets before moves.
00:47Why should other countries that weren't consulted about this war, that aren't involved in this
00:52war, now put their troops in Rome's way in the street?
00:55Because these other countries are benefiting greatly from the United States military taking
01:00out the threat of Iran.
01:02The rogue Iranian regime has long not just posed a threat to the United States of America,
01:07but of course to our Gulf and Arab partners in the region.
01:09As you see, I believe Iran has struck more than 300 civilian targets in the Gulf region.
01:17If you think about Europe, their ballistic missile capability that the United States military
01:21is currently wiping out was a direct and imminent threat to our European allies as well as our
01:27bases in the region, which is why President Trump took this action in the first place.
01:31So these countries are absolutely benefiting from ensuring that Iran can never obtain a
01:36nuclear weapon.
01:36This is something not just the United States, but the entire Western world has agreed with
01:41for many, many years.
01:42So I think the President is absolutely right to call on these countries to do more, to help
01:47the United States to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, so that we can stop this terrorist regime from
01:52restricting the free flow of energy.
01:54And the fact that they are doing so just underscores why President Trump needed to take this action
01:58in the first place.
01:59The President just told the UK a few days ago that he doesn't need their ships, and now
02:03he says he does?
02:04The President spoke on that last night.
02:06He said that he wished the UK had stepped up sooner and quicker, but he continues to
02:12speak with our allies in Europe and is calling on them to do more, just as he did when he
02:16called
02:16on them to step up with respect to their defense spending in NATO.
02:20He's calling them to do more here, and I think you'll see that come to fruition.
02:24Where does that stand right now, and has the President set a deadline that he wants to
02:29see China take any potential action?
02:31No, I just answered the question.
02:32It's a leader-to-leader conversation at this point.
02:35The President looks forward to visiting China.
02:36The dates may be moved.
02:38As Commander-in-Chief, it's his number one priority right now to ensure the continued success
02:43of this operation, Epic Fury.
02:45So we'll keep you posted on the dates as soon as we can.
02:47Thanks, guys.
