00:00Anyway, thoughts on ABS, man.
00:02So, look, I like it overall.
00:06They've got to put a limit on how many times you can use it in a game.
00:08They're going to have to do that.
00:10And I'm not even worried about the time of game.
00:11I just think it turns into kind of stoojery.
00:14It becomes like, oh, challenge another one.
00:16Oh, challenge another one.
00:17They keep regenerating.
00:19You can do it.
00:20There were eight of them in the Saturday game.
00:23Eight.
00:24And I know Buckner sucks as an umpire.
00:27I get it.
00:28But I also think that, you know, in theory, you could have 20 if you keep getting them right.
00:34And to me, I would give every side two.
00:38And if you get them both right, you get one more.
00:41And that's it.
00:42So, there's a max of six in any game.
00:45I don't mind the, you know, like in a big spot with the Red Sox in the first game of
00:49the series.
00:50That was a big spot.
00:51They were able to, you know, extend the at-bat or extend the inning.
00:54Anthony walked on the at-bat.
00:56They ended up getting a couple of more runs.
00:57To me, that's how it should be used.
01:00If it's going to be used in the third inning of games, oh, then, I mean, you know, of a
01:04scoreless game or a one-run game, F off.
01:06I got, you know, too much.
01:07Remind me to never play blackjack at the Maz Casino.
01:10Shut you down if you got the hot hand.
01:12Nope.
01:12You've won too much.
01:13You got to go.
01:15I get it.
01:16Then that can be annoying.
01:16I'm sure this is probably an annoying experience for a lot of people who feels like it's maybe gumming it
01:20up.
01:20I overall like it.
01:21But because I'm fair, it could be tweaked a little.
01:25It's not perfect.
01:26I talked about this Saturday with Gasper.
01:27I sent you the clip, Mike, because you heard me talking about it.
01:29There was a clip that went viral between a game between the Royals and the Braves on Friday night where
01:35Salvador Perez apparently knows the strike zone better than this umpire that was behind the plate.
01:39But when the ABS shows it, it's coming down to the little millimeter, and that's, I know it's technically correct,
01:49but it's not what I'm looking for.
01:51I'm looking for real a-holes like C.B. Buckner, you know, a name you know like you'd know Angel
01:56Hernandez or Joe West because he's a known a-hole who will call a clear ball a strike and vice
02:01versa.
02:01I'm looking for what happened yesterday to see a prick like that get, you know, humiliated in front of 40
02:07,000 people and people really loving that.
02:09I'm looking for what happened yesterday.
