00:14Welcome to MojoPlays and today we're looking at our most anticipated games releasing this fall
00:20from September through November of 2025. We're only including games that have definitive release
00:26dates as of writing, so as much as I'd like to talk about how excited I am for Metroid Prime
00:324,
00:33you won't find it here. But before we dive in, we publish new content all week long,
00:50so be sure to subscribe and ring the bell to get notified about our latest videos.
00:56Borderlands 4
00:57To be fair, there are a few things making it hard to get excited for Borderlands 4. Business practices
01:18and remarks from higher-ups at the companies behind it, and a dip in writing quality in the
01:22last few entries are cheap among them. However, from what we've actually seen of this game,
01:27it still looks like a bombastic adventure with the same core gameplay hook that grabbed everyone's
01:33attention in the first place. We'll see some new elements as well, like the seamless open environment
01:38over the past sandbox style, and what seems to be less of the cringey zaniness the writers went over
01:45the top with in Borderlands 3. As long as the story has been improved, and the classes and weapons
01:50still offer a variety of ways to play, we'll remain cautiously optimistic as its September 12th
01:56release date approaches, where you can pick it up on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and S, or Nintendo Switch
02:032.
02:04Adios!
02:07Yeah! Get it!
02:11Dying Light 2 stumbled when it came to story, and while it was still fun to play, it was a
02:26bit easier to survive its zombie hordes.
02:28But, with the beast, Techland is promising a return to form. We'll take control of the first game's
02:34protagonist, Kyle Crane, on a quest for vengeance after being experimented on for 13 years.
02:40Those experiments have left him with some incredible abilities that we're excited to unleash on everything
02:45and everyone around us. The developers are also intent to focus more on survival aspects than the
02:51previous game. Plus, we're always game to see how the team has improved the stellar parkour mechanics.
02:57Dying Light the Beast releases on September 19th for PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC, with plans
03:06for Xbox One and PS4 releases later this year.
03:16Final Fantasy Tactics, The Ivelisse Chronicles
03:20Abandon not your way with children of Ivelisse, but deliver us from our sins, that we might know salvation.
03:27It may not be a new game, but Final Fantasy Tactics is one of the most beloved spinoffs in Square
03:34Enix's long-running series.
03:36Originally released on the PlayStation before getting a strong port to PSP,
03:40fans have championed its characters, strategic mechanics, art style, and music for years.
03:47Now, with the Ivelisse Chronicles,
03:49there are legions of new players just waiting to fall in love with it.
03:52The remaster will bring some reworked story elements, full voice acting in English and Japanese,
03:58enhanced graphics, and some small gameplay additions.
04:01This will be the widest release the game has ever received,
04:06launching on PS4 and 5, Switch 1 and 2, Xbox Series X and S, and PC on September 30th.
04:14Mina the Hollower
04:21If you're a fan of indie action games with a retro style, this one has probably been on your radar
04:27for a while.
04:28It's coming from Yacht Club Games, the same team behind the fantastic Shovel Knight.
04:34The studio has released multiple expansions and spinoffs for the IP over the years,
04:39so we're excited to see them on something new.
04:41Similar to how Shovel Knight paid homage to the NES era, Mina seems inspired by titles of the Game Boy
04:47Color.
04:47Don't think that will hold it back though.
04:50Ever since it was revealed, we've been aching to get our hands on Mina's Burrow ability and her arsenal of
04:55trinkets and weapons.
04:56The game releases on October 31st, on PC, as well as all major previous and current gen consoles.
05:08Little Nightmares 3
05:26We'll admit it's a bummer that the original developer, Tarsier Studios, is no longer working on the franchise.
05:32But that doesn't mean we can't also be eager to see what Supermassive does with it.
05:38Little Nightmares is a tried and tested formula of engaging worlds with an atmosphere and visuals that absolutely freak us
05:45out.
05:46We'll follow two new characters, playing either solo or in co-op, as they navigate and try to survive in
05:51a hellish dreamscape.
05:53We're excited to see Supermassive take on a different brand of horror, as the studio is mostly known for cinematic
05:59takes like Until Dawn and the Dark Pictures Anthology.
06:02The game will have us in its clutches on October 10th, when it releases on all current and previous gen
06:08consoles, as well as PC.
06:10Pokémon Legends Z to A
06:13While the core Pokémon games have seen their fair share of issues, 2022's Legends Arceus was a breath of fresh
06:20air.
06:20Next, trainers will venture back to the Kalos region of X and Y to explore an older era of Lumiose
06:27City, one of the franchise's best cities, in my opinion.
06:30On top of the refresh to battles that its predecessor brought, a new addition will be Battle Zones inside the
06:36city, where you can challenge others to increase your rank from Z to A.
06:39We're really interested to see how the game reconceptualizes Lumiose City, just like how Arceus did for the Sinnoh region.
06:46We'll be able to dig into its history when the game releases on October 16th, for the Switch and Switch
06:522.
06:53It seems there are even more secrets waiting to be uncovered.
06:57What will you find on your adventure?
07:00The Outer Worlds 2
07:02And like all good sequels, we've included everything that should have been in the first game.
07:09A series of planets and moons, colonized and run by giant corporations, is a great setting and premise for a
07:17video game.
07:18That, along with Obsidian's skill in crafting strong action RPGs, is what made the Outer Worlds a hit.
07:25Hopefully, the best is yet to come.
07:27The sequel will take us to a new star system where new stories and conflicts await.
07:32We'll have to deal with dangerous rifts that threaten to destroy all of space and time,
07:36all while being stuck in the middle of a war between a totalitarian government body and one of the game's
07:42mega corporations.
07:43The first game had a rich, deep history and engaging characters.
07:47We think Obsidian will deliver a worthy follow-up when it releases on October 29th, for PC, PS5, and Xbox
07:54Series X and S.
08:01An adventure made for capitalism by capitalism.
08:05Ninja Gaiden 4
08:07The abandoned Tokyo continues its struggle against chaos to this day.
08:12Infiltrated the facility. Commencing mission.
08:16When Ninja Gaiden 4 was revealed, the predominant thought that went through our heads was,
08:22Hell, yes.
08:24It's been an awfully long time since Team Ninja graced us with a Ryu Hayabusa journey.
08:30And this time, they've enlisted one of the greatest action studios in the business, Platinum Games, to co-develop.
08:37In addition to two developers, the game boasts two clashing protagonists.
08:41The returning Ryu, and the newcomer Yakumo, who can use his own blood, as well as that of his enemies,
08:47to create weapons.
08:49Everything looks sleek and cool, and will likely be ultra hard, just like the games that came before it.
08:55It's undeniably great to see Team Ninja return to the series, and we can't wait to dive in on October
09:0121st,
09:02when it releases on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X and S.
09:06The Dark Dragon is mine!
09:20Silent Hill fans were starved for years.
09:24Thankfully, it seems like one of gaming's most horrifying franchises is in the middle of a resurgence.
09:30Silent Hill F will focus on Hinako, a Japanese high schooler who has a whole lot of nightmares to look
09:36forward to.
09:37The setting will bring more than just a change in scenery.
09:40Konami invited Ryukishi Zero Nana to write the story, due to his expertise in Japanese horror through his visual novel
09:47series, When They Cry.
09:48And, looking at the trailers, you can tell monster designs look to take full advantage of the country's uniquely terrifying
09:56brand of horror.
09:57With famed composer Akira Yamaoka also returning, we're looking forward to being scared out of our wits when it launches
10:04September 25th for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X and S.
10:09Ghost of Yotei.
10:11A wandering spirit seeking vengeance.
10:21Ghost of Yotei.
10:23Sucker Punch blew away action-adventure fans with 2020's Ghost of Tsushima.
10:28And although we'll all miss Jin Sakai, we're still absolutely ecstatic to see what the team has cooked up for
10:35Ghost of Yotei.
10:36Taking place more than 300 years after the original, we'll follow Atsu picking up the mantle of Ghost, and seeking
10:43vengeance against a band of outlaws that murdered her parents and left her for dead 16 years prior.
10:48We have no doubt that combat with new weapons and abilities, as well as exploration of this new location, will
10:54be just as captivating, if not more so.
10:58What really has us excited is Sucker Punch's proven attention to detail and care when it comes to Japan's history.
11:05Ghost of Yotei will be the must-have PS5 exclusive this fall, when it launches on October 2nd.
11:11I have to go home.
11:14Back where all this started.
11:18What game are you looking forward to the most this fall?
