00:00I don't care how far away it is, you don't have a lot of time.
00:03How hopeful are you that this peace deal will work out with Iran?
00:06You're talking about to end it?
00:09Well, I think we're going to end it.
00:10I can't tell you for sure.
00:15You know, I don't like to say this.
00:16We've won this. This war has been won.
00:41Everything we're doing, we're making great.
00:44The borders are great. The military is great.
00:46We're having, by the way, a tremendous success, as you know, in Iran.
00:52We had one in Venezuela and now we're having one in Iran.
00:56They have no Navy left.
00:59They have no Air Force left.
01:01They have no anti-aircraft equipment left.
01:05No radar left. No leaders left.
01:07The leaders are all gone. Nobody knows who to talk to.
01:11But we're actually talking to the right people and they want to make a deal so badly.
01:14You have no idea how badly they want to make a deal.
01:17Why do you say, what makes you trust?
01:19Do you think I trust them? I don't trust them.
01:20Then why bother talking to them?
01:23Because they're going to make a deal.
01:24They're going to make a deal.
01:25They did something yesterday that was amazing, actually.
01:28They gave us a present and the present arrived today.
01:33It was a very big present worth a tremendous amount of money.
01:37And I'm not going to tell you what that present is, but it was a very significant prize.
01:43And they gave it to us and they said they were going to give it.
01:46So that meant one thing to me, we're dealing with the right people.
01:49Was that nuclear related?
01:50No, it wasn't nuclear related.
01:52It was oil and gas related.
01:54And it was a very nice thing they did.
01:55But what it showed me is that we're dealing with the right people.
01:58It was related to the flow and to the straight, yeah.
02:04Are you going to send Jared Kushner and Steve Whitcoff to do direct negotiations with the Iranians?
02:09Yeah, well, we're in negotiations, as it turned out.
02:12And now you've seen what I said yesterday was exactly correct.
02:16We're in negotiations right now.
02:18They're doing it along with Marco, J.D.
02:20We have a number of people doing it.
02:23And the other side, I can tell you, they'd like to make a deal.
02:26And who wouldn't if you were there?
02:27You know, if you read the papers, you think we're tied.
02:29You think we're in a tough battle.
02:31We are roaming free over Tehran, the city, Tehran, as opposed to Iran.
02:38We're roaming free.
02:39We can do whatever we want.
02:41And, as you know, today we were going to have the privilege of shooting down a very big electric generation
02:48plant, one of the biggest in the world.
02:51And one shot to the right location ends the plant.
02:54It collapses.
02:55And we held off based on the fact that we're negotiating.
02:58What do you think was the turning point to make you want to pursue a ceasefire?
03:02The fact that they're talking to us and they're talking since.
03:06And remember, it all starts with they cannot have a nuclear weapon.
03:09Just, you know, I said yesterday, they said, what are the top ten?
03:13I said, well, number one, two, and three is they can't have a nuclear weapon.
03:18And they're not going to have a nuclear weapon.
03:20And we're talking about that.
03:22I don't want to say in advance, but they've agreed they will never have a nuclear weapon.
03:26If we can end this without more lives being down, without knocking out $10 billion electric plants that are brand
03:35new and the apple of their eye, I'd like to be able to do that, you know?
03:40But we they can't have certain things.
03:44I mean, you know the things.
03:46I don't have to go over the list.
03:47But, again, it starts with no nuclear weapons.
03:49And they've agreed to that.
03:50We negotiate with bombs.
03:53You have a choice as we loiter over the top of Tehran, as the president talked about, about your future.
03:59The president has made it clear that you will not have a nuclear weapon.
04:02The War Department agrees.
04:03Our job is to ensure that.
04:04And so we're keeping our hand on that throttle as long as it's hard as it's necessary to ensure the
04:11interest of the United States of America are achieved on that battlefield.
04:14This is not Iraq and Afghanistan.
04:16This is not a president who's interested in vague end states.
04:19He's been very clear with us about what we need to accomplish, creating the conditions for them never to have
04:24a nuclear capability, was one for the history book.
