00:00You've been down there, Aaron Nola, obviously not his best season last year.
00:06I mean, what do you think he's going through mentally,
00:08and are you expecting a big bounce back for Nola this year?
00:12No, absolutely.
00:13And sometimes when you have years where it's just year in and year out,
00:17you're doing your thing, I mean, he's putting up big numbers.
00:20And, you know, people were, you know, you're kind of not noticing.
00:23You just know, hey, that's just Aaron Nola.
00:24He's going to go out 200 innings.
00:27You know, he's going to get close to his 200 strikeouts.
00:29He's going to make every single start.
00:30He was accountable.
00:32And sometimes the body just hits a wall and, you know, something unpredictable happens,
00:39and you don't know how to manage it because you're so accustomed to never missing starts,
00:43never complaining, you know, taking the ball and doing what you need to do.
00:48And he does.
00:48He has a very old-school mentality.
00:50So I think this last year really kind of taught him something.
00:54As you're getting older, things don't go as smoothly as it did in your 20s.
00:59But I think it was a really good test to what he needed to learn to get to the next
01:03level
01:04and still maintain who he is.
01:06And I love what he was able to do in spring training.
01:09I know he was with, you know, Team Italy,
01:10and you just have to respect how he went out there in big moments
01:14and kind of those exciting games early on.
01:17And you could see his stuff.
01:18And you saw how he put in a lot of time this offseason to make sure that he was in
01:23better shape.
01:23And I think he's going to make up for a lot,
01:25and you're going to see the normal Aaron Nola.
