00:32Good teams, teams that win a lot of games.
00:35And the facts are no team in baseball has won more regular season games in the last two years than
00:44the Phillies.
00:45That's a fact.
00:46So concluding that that team can't ever beat the Dodgers when they've beat up on them for two years in
00:52the regular season,
00:53and that team can't ever win a World Series because they've had some weird weeks in October, I just don't
01:00think is accurate.
01:01So I tried to prove that by running through a bunch of teams in recent times that we thought could
01:08not win the big game in October until what happened?
01:12They won the big game in October.
01:14You know, the Dodgers looked like one of those teams.
01:17Lost in the first round, swept in the first round, were losing to the Padres in the first round, and
01:22then all of a sudden they won the last two World Series.
01:25Trey Turner played for the Nationals of 2016, 17, 18, 19.
01:32They looked like one of those teams until what happened?
01:35They won the World Series.
01:36And I feel like the best example for people in this town is the 1976, 77, 78, 79, 80 Phillies.

01:52That team loses in the first round in 76, loses in the first round in 77, loses the first round

02:00get the manager fired in 79, and then what happened in 80?
