00:00Aaron Nola. Okay, you know what? Over a 6 ERA last year, we heard he was injured. Okay, comes back
00:07this year. You're thinking, all right, we're going to see a new Aaron Nola. Nope, we're seeing the same old
00:11thing. Jason?
00:12Yeah, I mean, you just said it at this point. I don't know how anybody can say it's early anymore.
00:20This is something they need to figure out and fix. And, you know, I have a lot of numbers. There's
00:27some really scary numbers to tell Aaron Nola's story.
00:31How about leadoff hitters have a 448 on base against him. The three, four hitters in the other lineup are
00:39both slugging over 650 against him. With men on base, I mean, we've talked about this for years, but hitters
00:48have over 1000 OPS against him when he's in the stretch, which is 300 points higher than when he's out
00:56of the windup.
00:57And one more thing I noticed. In his defense, literally, his defense is not helping him. The Phillies just do
01:07not convert enough batted balls into outs. When he's pitching, the average on balls in play is 359. That's the
01:18fourth worst in baseball. You know who's third? Hazeluz Lozardo. You know who's sixth? Christopher Sanchez.
01:25The batting average on balls in play against all of them is 355 or worse. The league average is like
01:3365 points lower than that. I don't know. This is a huge worry. And I think there's other stuff going
01:41on, but those are some highlights or lowlights.
