00:29mill buildings that are big and beautiful just the last few months i've watched a transformation

00:34in my wife okay she's anti-plastic sure she's anti new crap that doesn't work yep when she wants

00:40look i'm with john i want to go back and watch everything john has ever said about old space

00:44heaters and like waffle irons i'm like yes yes yeah something like ancient like that in no way is what

00:49i would buy to make waffles again nice new 100 would buy this you wouldn't yeah why i don't want

00:55oh it's a little broken for instance she needed something that was going to what uh coffee she

01:00needed a coffee grinder she's like no way i'm buying that at walmart yeah yeah i'm buying that

01:04from savers or something plastic i like it plastic she kind of started to want to look around at

01:09consignment shops now we've always liked thrifting yeah but she's like i want to go to like consignment

01:13i've been following the stuff that's been happening with like goodwill and savers and how they're

01:17pulling a lot of their stuff to sell online yes so like now it's all like the sheehan fast fashion

01:23plastic stuff yep i haven't been to like a real charity shop the rift store in a long time so

01:29place their whole thing any of the donations that are kids clothing kids toys go directly to kids in

01:35need so you don't see a lot of children's stuff and yeah all that money goes into those charity

01:40organizations for the kids that's wonderful and then there are big things like volunteers yeah they

01:44have schools come in and organizations come in and do volunteer days where they sift through the

01:49donations and they clean things and they package things i mean what a wonderful cause it's giving

01:53back to the community in multiple dimensions right so do you have a shopping agenda i'm always on the

01:57lookout to like upgrade my cooking stuff like one piece at a time she's afraid of cooking in something

02:02that's going to kill us or give us cancer yeah i've got rid of all the non-stick stuff yeah

02:08i love my dog that's why it's cold i've gone all like 100 cotton or linen like the fabrics i

04:10at all so all down that way is clothing and jewelry and then in this area it was like home

04:17stuff oh but then again there's nephews there is there are nephews to consider i think you'd enjoy

04:35and throw it out or donate it again donate it again a little marble maze that you can build for

04:44it's the ones that they advertise in commercials but nobody actually buys you have a lot of balloons

05:16gotten into reselling lately so they'll go all over and try to resell things yeah that's a big business

08:09i saw these carts right something in my mind triggered and i think they're ann and hope yeah

08:15but they've so skillfully they've ground down all the logos you can't see so i can't tell for sure but

08:21this let's think about this honeycomb brownish cart like ann and hope when did it close 2002

08:27or something 2001 a long time remember we did one at uh uh the outlet yeah that they had for

08:32of a while that's all gone too yeah that's gone now and then there was that huge outlet yeah it

08:36still like an ann and hope really just without the electronics department and that's gone hey he

08:40found a chair yes next to the shoe trying department and it's safe it's good it's solid i wouldn't trust

08:46my life with it but so just the snowman plate for now yeah i think i'm gonna get some puzzles

08:50there's puzzles i'm interested in and like i say i'll redonate them so it's not like they accumulate

08:54in my house my concern about free puzzles missing pieces it doesn't matter to us i buy savers puzzles

08:59for three bucks because the likelihood you're going to finish a puzzle is pretty low well no we finish

09:03a lot of them and we just accept that there may be missing pieces oh but honestly the most missing

09:08pieces we've ever had is like three you accept that part of life you know we actually have this

09:12barbie plane really yeah this jumbo jet two of them two of them here there's two of them this is

09:18getting out of hand i have to wonder was this place decorated for this purpose or was there

09:23something else interesting here that they've just adapted this is like very intentional like colorful

09:29decoration we just realized there's stadium seating i don't know why but there is somebody

09:35gonna put on a show for us you know when i was growing up there used to be so many

09:38places like this

09:40in old mills and as old mills have become desirable pieces of real estate to like make it to apartments

09:45or

09:46do all kinds of stuff where you don't see too many anymore this is just reminding me of a like

09:50cur meal and the places i went to in my youth where it was just you know on the second

09:54floor of a

09:55mill just dedicated to a you know a random store it was originally three but i got half but everything

10:01is 50 off john's picking out a uh i'm looking at puzzles this one came from kmart

10:05that's kind of neat i like that one hometown collection yeah look some cool art i usually

10:11build puzzles with val and meredith and zach so it's nice that we can have things we can break up

10:16you know different people can work on different stuff that's great he's my favorite puzzle artist

10:19wasaki charles wasaki yeah hand cast and hand painted in hudson massachusetts

10:24and look it's actually becky thatcher look at that from like tom slayer huckleberry and anything

10:29and then what about these cards i don't know there's the back and beyond maybe

10:42well that was a lot more interesting than i thought it was gonna be me too

10:45i love the interior i got a cool plate some puzzles pleased pleased as punch
