00:16Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that the situation of the Cuban people has become critical
00:20due to the strangulation caused by the intensification of the U.S. blockade against the Caribbean island.
00:25Furthermore, Lavrov reiterated his support for the Cuban people and government
00:28as well as for their continuation of their path of sovereign development
00:32on the rights of peoples to self-determination as an international legal principle enshrined in the UN Charter.
00:40Moscow also condemned the economic and commercial blockade against Cuba
00:43that has been in place for more than six decades.
