00:00I understand you're a long-standing critic of Hezbollah and here is your country once again
00:05being dragged into a war by that group. I want to ask you whether this was all very predictable
00:12and whether you saw all the warning signs there that indeed conflict was inevitable.
00:19In Lebanon, well, it was somehow predictable knowing the long history of Hezbollah by not
00:31respecting the decisions by the Lebanese government over the last 25 years after the 2000s.
00:42And there was, we thought that Hezbollah is going to surrender their arms now once we had,
00:51what's called, if you want, once we have freed our land. But since 2000 to now, we had many
01:02situations where Hezbollah caused issues and then started conflict to Lebanon. So it was
01:09predictable somehow that Hezbollah at any minute for any reason would do such a stupid mistake
01:19like the one he did just recently. But we thought that this time, maybe after the 2024 issue and then
01:27the conflict that was very heavy on us in Lebanon here, we thought maybe Hezbollah will reconsider
01:34their position. But unfortunately, they did not. So unfortunately, it was expected. It was predictable,
01:46it was possible, but we hoped that they would do otherwise.
01:48But we hoped that they would do otherwise.
01:48We wanted our time to do outraiehtos.
