00:00We've heard from the Lebanese government today, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam,
00:04banning Hezbollah's military activities.
00:07It's one thing to use words, but can that ban really be enforced at this stage?
00:13You know, it's very important now to see how the government is going to implement this
00:18because implementation is the key here.
00:21You cannot keep on talking and talking and not doing anything about it
00:24because, you know, we saw how these weapons and the decisions that Hezbollah has taken
00:31for the last few years, how they really brought Lebanon years back
00:35in terms of development, in terms of living standards for people,
00:40in terms of just having a normal life for the Lebanese.
00:43To continue doing things the same way, it's like the definition of insanity.
00:48So you have to be now really strong in implementation
00:52and to show people that you really mean it this time.
00:56And now they have the opportunity.
00:57This is a very big opportunity.
00:59The international community is behind the government in this.
01:01The people of Lebanon are behind the government in this.
01:04And you cannot delay it anymore, especially after hearing today from Israel
01:08that the Israelis are thinking about an operation, again, another invasion of Lebanon.
01:13And they're threatening that this operation will not end unless the threat from Lebanon ends.
01:18So this will be a disaster, another disaster for Lebanon.
01:21So it's important.
01:22Implementation is very important.
01:24And when I was reading the statement of the government,
01:27I noticed something which contradicts the first part of the statement,
01:33which the first part talks about, you know, banning Hezbollah's weapons and it's illegal, whatever.
01:38And in the second point, they talked about implementing the plan of February 2026,
01:45which limits the Hezbollah weapons to the north of Litani.
01:48You cannot do these things anymore.
01:50You cannot limit it in any, you have to limit it all over Lebanon.
01:54You cannot anymore talk about limiting in this area or not area.
01:58Things are really dangerous now for Lebanon.
02:00And we have to change the way you are doing things.
