00:11and together here with the team we're going to talk about Overlord 2.
00:25Overlord is about being evil, you are the guy in charge, you are the dark lord.
00:28After a day of working or staying in school, you've got people telling you all the time
00:33what you're supposed to do.
00:34In Overlord 2, you are in control and being evil is a lot more fun.
00:38There are no morals, you can be politically incorrect, you gather a harem of mistresses,
00:43you build up a dark army of loyal minions and you sweep over the world, you know, pillaging
00:49the countryside and building up your dark domain.
00:51At the end of Overlord raising hell, the old Overlord got trapped in the abyss.
00:55This is where all Overlords end up sooner or later.
00:59But he didn't go there before he managed to impregnate his mistress.
01:03You, as the Overlad, the son of the old Overlord, grows up in the remote town of Nordberg which
01:10is a sort of Christmas winter wonderland.
01:12Like whatever evil dictator, the seed of his evil got planted in his youth and over here
01:18you see how he grew up and, you know, managed to harass the population and saw how he grew
01:24up to become a proper Overlord.
01:32The minions have prepared a couple of tests for the Overlad just to awaken his evil energy
01:37and make sure that he is the true Overlord.
01:40We got some feedback on Overlord 1 that you couldn't be evil enough.
01:43The choices were often more between being good and evil.
01:47In Overlord 2 we've made a new tyranny system which tracks how the player is performing his
01:51evil deeds.
01:53The choices are between destruction tyranny and domination tyranny.
01:56With destruction you are this demon of death and destruction who just pillages everything
02:00and, you know, takes the souls of the villagers to make new minions and, you know, immediately
02:06takes their loot.
02:07The Overlord, who is more of the dominating type, goes into a town, subdues the people with
02:12his dark magic and they will start to work for him as mindless slaves.
02:17So, enslavement versus destruction.
02:30Overlord 2 is a lot bigger, better, and more epic than Overlord 1.
02:34Here it comes!
