01:01So this game takes place after Overlord 2
01:04and basically Narl and the minions have been driven underground
01:09down to a place we're calling the Netherdeep
01:11which is kind of in the deepest, darkest recesses of the Netherworld
01:15There's this strange kind of plague of goodness called the Golden
01:21that's infecting everything with sort of twee niceness
01:25and that's encroaching on the Netherdeep
01:27so the sort of minions are
01:30they're on their way to being wiped out as well
01:32and if the minions go there's no chance of an Overlord
01:35From here Narl has hatched this wonderful plan
01:39to resurrect the bodies of four evil doers in their life
01:44They're kind of his four sub-lieutenants
01:46and whilst they're not Overlords themselves
01:48because obviously there can only be one Overlord
01:49they're actually kind of the next best thing
01:51and we're calling them the Nether Ghoul
01:54While the essence of Overlord is in the game
01:57Rihanna's great writing, the minions having fun being evil
02:00it's also not a straightforward Overlord game
02:03in the sense of certain mechanics
02:04fans of the previous games might expect
02:06It's co-op at its core
02:08you can still play the game single player
02:09with the four characters we've got
02:11they've all got their strengths
02:12they've all got their weaknesses
02:12and the minions will supplement that
02:16the humour and the tone of the world was built into the gameplay
02:20into the mechanics
02:22everything sort of reinforced the tone of the world
02:25and that's why we got back voice actors like Mark Silk
02:28and I could sort of slip back into writing the Overlord world quite easily
02:35I don't even know how many years it's been working on Overlord games
02:39just to be able to come back to it and do something new and something fresh with it is really
