02:30uh those two and they by the way i think they might have been turning points in games but
02:34um those are my champs of the weekend wow uh i went with just cohen carr the 21 points grabbed

05:00uh as far as the rest of march madness uh and we kind of go region by region here we've

05:10michigan and michigan state and their draws the end of the florida iowa game that saw the number one
05:16seed go down florida's got a two-point lead iowa built i believe a 12 point first half lead and

05:23coach kid was incredible and he made up for something that sounded impossible if i told you that iowa was
05:29going to beat the number one seed florida gators without bennett sturtz their best player hitting
05:34one three-pointer he went oh for nine from three you would say virtually impossible and look that they
05:40look like not only did the teens almost come to blows with a technical foul early in the game on
05:45the vulgaris kid but then the coaches when todd golden saw the replay he went crazy then ben mccullum
05:52the iowa coach went crazy yelling back then when he got interviewed by cbs he made the comment
05:57ah they're getting all sensitive down there which was hysterical which made me really want florida to
06:02lose because i don't like florida and florida's got a two-point lead with nine seconds left and
06:10todd golden says we're just going to foul we're going to put them on the line a they'll have to

06:15free throws b even if they do have the basketball in a tie game and c even if we don't

06:21then take a game to overtime and we think we'll wear him down mccullum puts together a brilliant
06:27play sturtz catches the ball on the run florida can't touch him he's running into a three on two
06:32then he makes the right pass to vulgaris who there are six other hawkeyes that shoot the three better
06:38than vulgaris and he drains a three from the corner so now i was up one after florida couldn't even
06:43execute a foul and i think mccullum's chalkboard completely dominated golden's chalkboard so
06:50florida's got four seconds left to get a game winner off and they don't even get a shot off
06:54uh the transfer kid from um from princeton league gets deep in and tries to make a pass and the

07:00goes off and i was so happy about that and iowa i mean the big 10 looks good that south

07:08has an iowa nebraska farmageddon game yeah and then you've got illinois versus houston the only
07:13problem is that regionals being hosted in houston well that and uh houston's good
07:19yeah but they are really good that's true really good so that that's another problem but good to see
07:24three of the four teams in that region are our big 10 teams yep um and it's interesting you know
07:30because nebraska had that stretch of starting the season with 20 and 0 or whatever it was and it was
07:35amazing and then they looked like oh they're they're just nebraska and then they got things
07:40together here and now they're playing well again iowa i mean what is iowa i mean iowa to me is
07:47always they're always going to be a tough out because you know iowa but in the tournament i
07:52never think much of of an iowa team making a run well they did with fray mccaffrey and and mc
07:58and
07:58they're such a different style but yes they never mccaffrey never really made runs in march that i can
08:03recall but it was good for that column is a hell of a coach and illinois is uh hitting their
08:08stride
08:09again because they looked like they were one of the best teams in the country for a long time and
08:13then not so much and now they've just blown teams out i mean a 35 point win against penn to

08:18things off and then they win by 21 over you know brandon injers school virginia commonwealth uh and
08:25now they await houston but good showing from obviously good great showing for the big 10 so
08:30far in this tournament then of course you have you know michigan michigan state still alive the
08:33illini and the fighting ben hummer houses so well guys why is um nebraska not considered a
08:39cinderella just because they play in the big 10 yeah i guess i mean let's face it nebraska had
08:44zero ncaa tournament wins in 130 years of basketball before this year they could be considered i mean
08:50and foresee relative to yeah i guess that's it well was indiana football considered a cinderella
08:56kind of i don't think this this past year they were i think the year prior they they were they

09:01out of nowhere nobody expected it and i guess to your point it gets that way with nebraska because
09:05of the 20 wins um but it's such a long season in college hoops i don't know uh you have

10:20so mike here's the thing it's funny because this one feels different to me and i and you know it
10:26does this to me and it might be different for you i feel like what's happening in march now is

10:33their control because of the larkin injury and that's not out of their control but i feel like
10:37that's bad luck that's incredible bad luck and they've had other guys get hurt but
10:42you know i hope he comes back healthy and they get they get going again yeah i hope so too

10:53healthiest teams and i mean yeah the larkin injury is brutal to them um but we got to get some

11:13team within the playoff race i think that has a negative goal differential so something's got to
