00:00I just can't believe, looking at the National League side, that they've already got the Dodgers priced at about 43,
00:0644 cents.
00:07We haven't even played a game, Tom, and already it's we're almost even money across the board with the Dodgers
00:15winning the National League.
00:17It's too much.
00:18You know, when we're looking at something that they are essentially putting at, you know, let's call, you know, plus
00:23110 odds, you know, 43 or so percent.
00:27That's what the implied probability is there, give or take. That's just too much.
00:30You know, this is what we've seen in other sports with the Thunder being plus 110 to win the NBA
00:35championship.
00:35When we're this far out, we can't be taking this short of a position on them with this low rate
00:40of return.
00:41Again, there's so much variance that comes into baseball.
00:44As I said again about the Dodgers, they were up against the wall last season, going back to the Toronto
00:49Blue Jays, needing to win two games in a row.
00:51So to put this position on them now at the end of March to say that they're going to win
00:55the National League is just a bridge too far for me.
