00:00Let's go over to the NL MVP, and it was heading towards that direction

00:03where Shohei Ohtani was going to be a runaway.

00:05But this morning, Tom, we're roughly as a pick-em here.

00:07Minus 110 price here for Shohei Ohtani.

00:09After him, it's Fernando Tatis, Corbin, Carroll, Kyle, Tucker, Pete Crow, Armstrong.

00:1412-1, baby.

00:15There's our guys showing up in the top five.

00:17But Ohtani, we're not saying he's struggling as of late,

00:20but you're almost trying to compare him to, like, Aaron Judge.

00:23Those numbers will be astronomical at the end of the season,

00:25but at least we have some parity in the NL here in that market, Tom.

00:29Yeah, at least something to discuss that we can actually, you know, dig our teeth into.

00:34For me, I would say the one that I would have the most interest in would be Kyle Tucker for the Cubs.

00:40I love what he's putting together.

00:41I love the protection that he has in the lineup.

00:43He has the power to get it done.

00:44He's a good fielder.

00:45He's not a great fielder.

00:46It's not like he's going to, you know, blow anyone out of the water in terms of his defensive numbers.

00:51But I wouldn't be betting on Tatis.

00:53That's just not a number that I like.

00:54We can make an argument for Corbin Carroll if he has all the steals, all the home runs as well.

00:58But it's a far more interesting market to break down.

01:01And you mentioned at the top of the show that Ohtani is throwing bullpen sessions now.

01:05So theoretically, if you were interested in Ohtani, now is the time.

01:09Because once he gets back on the mound, even if he's an average pitcher on the mound,

01:13and he still does the hitting, he will win that award because I say, oh, he's doing both.

01:17He's a great guy.
