00:00This may be one of the most unappetizing looking of the southern salads I've made,
00:04but it's really delicious. So first up with ham salad is you want to start with softened
00:07cream cheese. And to help it be extra smooth, let's beat it a little bit just so it gets nice
00:11and whipped. So we're going to go with our finely diced ham, parsley, scallions, mustard,
00:16a little bit of cayenne pepper, a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper. Fold it all together. That is
00:21pink. That's actually delicious. The ham and the mustard go really well together and the cream
00:25cheese is just enough to bind it together. And that's the beauty about southern food. It doesn't
00:28have to be pretty to be delicious.
