00:30This is a hallo carte approach, so now all 100 plus fighters in the game are going to receive moves
00:35from these various disciplines that will be applied to them.
00:39We bring back the six techniques, boxing, kickboxing, hultai for striping, judo, brazilian jiu jitsu, and freestyle wrestling, and we've
00:47added to the mix sambo, koladi, and greco-roman wrestling.
00:50You being the ground guy, I mean, what's the difference really in greco-roman versus freestyle wrestling?
00:55In those two disciplines, freestyle wrestling is about attacking the whole body.
01:00You can attack the legs and trying to pin your opponent to the mat.
01:03Reco-roma is you can only attack the upper body and you're still looking for pins.
01:06A lot of it's in the clinch, so if you get that clinch work, a lot of times guys start
01:10winging punches and they end up clinching up.
01:12It definitely has its time and place.
01:14For those people that don't know the term sambo, what is actually sambo?
01:19Sambo is kind of like judo with throws, but they also do a lot of leg locks and heel hooks
01:23and knee bars.
01:26To me, from a visual perspective, the most devastating of the striking is Muay Thai.
01:31You've seen guys like Shogun who use it to effectiveness against the knee auto.
01:35The knee auto comes from a karate background and Shogun came from a Muay Thai background.
01:39You can kind of see the clash of styles.
01:43What's your favorite aspect about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu versus the rest of the kind of mixed
01:48martial arts?
01:48Well, I guess it's a philosophy, whether it's the game or real life.
01:51I could be training with someone, but they had just as good of a chance to knock me out.
01:55as I had to knock them out.
01:57But like with Jiu-Jitsu, if I take that guy down and I establish a dominant position,
02:00I can pick up being interrupted or apply a submission hold, and they can't really do anything to
02:04me that's too bad that I can't counter.
02:06There aren't such things as lucky submissions.
02:10Now you can combo anything together.
02:12You can chain any attack to another attack, and it's really up to you as the player to
02:17kind of see which attacks take less time to execute.
02:21And then you can see, depending on which position, which angle you're in, how you want to chain
02:25attacks together.
02:26Well, guys, you got a brief taste of some of the fighting technique features in UFC Undisputed
02:302010.
