Video completo dell'All Access di Call Of Duty: Ghosts, anteprima del gioco realizzata in occasione dell'E3 2013.

01:07Signature multiplayer, cinematic storytelling, those silky smooth controls all running at 60 frames per second.
01:14You know Call of Duty. Millions go online to play every single day.
01:17But nobody saw Call of Duty Ghosts coming.
01:19And with Infinity Ward rolling out a new story, setting, and characters,
01:23alongside a laundry list of new features,
01:25it's safe to say that the studio that set the bar on the current generation
01:29is doing it again for the next gen.
01:31There's some great stuff coming up, and we want you guys to be a part of the conversation.
01:35So, tell us what you think at hashtag COD Ghosts.
01:38All right, well, let's get right into it, Justine,
01:40and bring up the CEO of Activision Publishing, Eric Kirschberg, to get things started.
01:45Eric, great to see you, man.
01:46Hi.
01:47This is something completely new that I haven't seen before.
01:49The Sunday before E3, Call of Duty, All Access.
01:52Why are you doing this?
01:53Yeah, we've never done anything like this before, and the idea is really simple.
01:56Basically, every year, E3 is a huge moment for us because it's usually the first time
02:00we're showing off extended gameplay publicly, and it's a huge production.
02:04The only problem is that unless you're here at E3 yourself, you don't get to see it.
02:08And we know that the people who would appreciate what we're showing off this week the most
02:11are the tens of millions of Call of Duty fans worldwide.
02:14So we figured if we can't bring all of them to E3, why not try to bring E3 to our
02:18fans?
02:18And you're going to be showing a lot here.
02:20I'm surprised by how much you guys are exposing of the game.
02:23What are we going to see today?
02:24Yeah, pretty much anything, if you were here and you were an industry insider or a journalist,
02:28you were here at E3, pretty much anything you would see this week, you're going to see here first.
02:32You're going to see extended gameplay from multiple levels.
02:35You're going to hear from our brilliant development team at Infinity Ward.
02:38You're going to hear from Stephen Gagin, the Academy Award-winning screenwriter
02:42who we've brought in to work with us on this project.
02:44And you're even going to get a behind-the-scenes tour of our booth over at E3.
02:47All right, well, let's get started with some gameplay.
02:50What's first up, Eric?
02:51We're going to start by showing you an amazing new level that we're calling into this.
02:54And I think it's one of the most beautiful examples of the level of detail and vivid imagery
02:58you're going to get from our next-gen engine for Call of Duty Ghosts.
03:02And it's also just one of those signature Infinity Ward-style throw rides.
03:05All right, well, let's take a look at Into the Deep.
03:15Descending.
03:1850 meters.
03:35This way.
03:37Crash-satisfied clicks out.
03:46Giveaway for over water, bro.
03:48We're not the only hunters out here.
04:14They're using solar.
04:17Easy.
04:18Easy.
04:19Easy.
04:19Just move slow and off the ground. The foliage should not mask our signature.
04:28Hold up. Boat patrol.
04:38Looks like we got company. Let'em separate.
04:46Okay. Let's move up. Let's stay low.
04:53In position.
04:56Remember, bullets aren't as effective under water. It'll take two or three before they're out.
05:03Weapons free.
05:08Nice work. Let's move through the wreck to keep guard.
05:12And watch your distance from the surface.
05:14We don't want to attract any more attention.
05:25Slow down.
05:28Stay down.
05:29Stay down.
05:37Salvage though. Not a good sign.
05:52We're picking up large sonar blasts in your area. That amount of water pressure could have lethal effects.
05:59This way.
06:07Move. Get to cover.
06:14Neptune. We're tracking a target, but we weren't able to engage.
06:20We're going to pull back immediately.
06:22Negative. Negative. We'll find another way.
06:27We're getting closer to another.
06:32To be continued.
06:38Come on.
06:42Move.
06:43Get to cover.
06:44Move.
06:45Move.
06:46Move.
06:46Move.
06:55There it is!
06:57Seek up on me!
07:03We've only got one shot!
07:05Take out that ship!
07:07I'll light it up, you've got it in.
07:11Fire!
07:19Fire!
07:20Nice! You've got it!
07:25Oh shit!
07:29Time!
07:44Talk to me, Bull! You okay?
07:53Stay away, Bull!
07:57Let's get this shit off you!
08:07You okay?
08:09What the...?
08:10Move!
08:15Come on! Time to go!
08:19Come on! Time to go!
08:19Captain, this is Trident! Target has been neutralized!
08:22You're clear for base 2! Over!
08:26Copy Trident, essentially cross-west stern.
08:30Dispection on Clark Skeeter! Train it out!
08:34Oh, no.
08:58Here's the sun!
08:58It's going to go!
08:59That's right!
08:59One last word!
09:00Let's go!
09:01Go watch!
09:02change of meteorite!
09:02What?
09:02I'm sitting here with Mark Rubin, the executive producer at Infinity Ward.
09:05Mark, this looks so real.
09:07Thank you.
09:07That's actually running on next-gen hardware.
09:10And, you know, I also say this is one of my favorite levels
09:12because I think it really encapsulates what we're trying to do with Call of Duty Ghost.
09:16You know, it shows off great new tech.
09:18It shows really immersive environments,
09:19and it also shows some interesting new gameplay.
09:22So before, we were talking about the new tech and the new story, which is all amazing.
09:25But, I mean, what can we expect from Ghosts?
09:28Well, with Call of Duty Ghosts, you know,
09:30we really set out to create a new universe with new characters and an all-new story.
09:35So to help us with that, we brought in Stephen Gagin.
09:37This guy won an Oscar, and he's been amazing to work with in the studio.
09:41And so our story starts off with a mass event that decimates our government,
09:46our military, and our way of life.
09:48And because of that, you are no longer part of a superpower.
09:51You actually play as the underdog.
09:54You don't have the superior firepower.
09:56You don't have the unlimited resources, and you don't have the backup.
10:00Well, you might not have human backup, but in Ghosts, there is man's best friend,
10:04and that's a dog, which plays a major role in combat.
10:06So let's go behind the scenes at Affinity Ward to see the story development process.
10:12Stephen, it is so cool that you are writing this game.
10:16You're obviously, you know, a writer who's known for kind of coming up with your own worlds,
10:19your own characters.
10:20When you came into this, there was some stuff that was already baked, for lack of a better term, I
10:24guess.
10:24When you work on Call of Duty, there's an enormous amount of history and passion,
10:29you know, for the various characters that have been created.
10:33The thing that's amazing to me in the game world is how protean or how malleable the story is.
10:39You know, as a filmmaker, you know, you go out and you fight a movie up the studio chain, right?
10:43And you're like, okay, we're going to be underwater.
10:45We're going to fight in the jungle.
10:46We're going to fight in airplanes.
10:47And they're just sitting there and they're like, uh, we're not going to make that.
10:51But here, you're only limited by your imagination.
10:54What do you hope that signature is that sort of you're bringing to this game?
10:57In this game, the player's playing alongside his brother.
11:00And there's actually a real family dynamic inside the game.
11:02Imagine you're like in the minor leagues and you get called up to the major leagues.
11:06They're like the all-stars taken from the all-stars.
11:09And then suddenly it's that arc of like, this is our moment.
11:12Following that character on that arc is where I do most of my work.
11:17You've seen that the dog has taken on a life of its own here.
11:20CallerDuty on Twitter.
11:21Tell us about this idea of the dog.
11:24I'm all about dogs, man.
11:25I love dogs.
11:26Dogs have this capacity for loyalty.
11:29And to have to take that into battle is like an extra responsibility.
11:33Definitely you want to have a dog with you at every opportunity possible.
11:36Their senses and their ability to detect things are better than our best equipment.
11:42We're trying to make the dog a main character.
11:44Someone that you actually feel for.
11:45Someone that when it comes on the screen you get excited about.
11:48You know, he is a part of your team.
11:50But he's also out front taking a lot of risk.
11:53So people are going to pick this up in the fall.
11:55And, you know, it's a Call of Duty game.
11:57But it's going to have some different aspects to it.
11:59What is your end goal for sort of how a player will feel when they play?
12:03This game takes place in an entirely new world with entirely new stakes.
12:07What we can do as a story team is actually make sure the stakes feel really high.
12:10You know, and that's the something that you take on as the player.
12:12You know, you do understand what the stakes are and you do care about people and your team.
12:17You know, you're here collaborating with these guys.
12:19Yeah, that's actually the best part of it.
12:21Down one line of offices are people writing software.
12:25And then down the other line are designers.
12:28It's the exact intersection of Silicon Valley and Hollywood-style entertainment.
12:33The average length of development in Hollywood is nine years.
12:36Here, it's like three minutes.
12:38Like, we'll come up with a sequence.
12:39These guys will storyboard it, have animatics to it.
12:42And we'll be sitting in this very same screening room.
12:44And they'll be showing me something that I thought of at like 10 that morning.
12:47It's 2 o'clock.
12:48In the movie world, like, it's an absolute dictatorship.
12:52It's like, I wrote it, I'm directing it, I'm producing it.
12:54And you have 300 people, and they're all working to help you.
12:57This is quite different.
12:58To build a game effectively, you have to, like, honor the vision of, like, 25 different artists
13:03who are all, like, total titans in their own right.
13:06And everybody's trying to basically make it the coolest experience they can for the player.
13:10It's a very challenging art form.
13:15Jeff, that must have been a pretty cool experience, getting to sit down with an Oscar winner.
13:19Yeah, and what I love about Stephen is that he's actually there in the office with Mark
13:22and the Infinity War guys collaborating day in and day out.
13:25So I can't wait to see where the story goes.
13:27Working on some great characters in the story.
13:29One of them, as I mentioned in that piece, is the Call of Duty dog, Mark.
13:33Tell us more about him.
13:35Yeah, we've been blown away by the response from the community on that dog.
13:38I mean, the real question is, what's the dog's name?
13:39Come on.
13:40Break it down.
13:41All right, so, you know, we really wanted to give a nod to an iconic character from the
13:46Modern Warfare series, so we named the dog Riley.
13:49All right, Riley, the official name of the Call of Duty dog.
13:52Tell us, though, about, you know, he's more than a name.
13:54How is he used in gameplay?
13:56Right.
13:57So when we began development, you know, we had this idea of putting a dog in the game.
14:00But it really wasn't until we brought in a Navy SEAL and his service dog
14:04that we realized how important the dog should be in the game.
14:08And it was a great experience.
14:09He brought in a lot of the equipment.
14:11And so the vest that the dog's wearing has this, like, flip-up camera.
14:15And the Navy SEAL has a screen that he can use to see what's through that camera.
14:20He's also, the dog's wearing an earpiece, so he can take actual direction from the SEAL.
14:25And actually, if they need to be even further, if they need to be stealthy,
14:30the dog's wearing these two vibrating devices on his neck that allows the SEAL to guide him,
14:35left-right attack, et cetera.
14:37So, you know what?
14:38Let's take a look at that in action.
14:40All right.
14:40Here it is, the dog in action.
14:43Is it on?
14:46Okay, looks like we're good.
14:48Beginning sector scan.
14:51Contact.
14:52Enemy patrol approaching from the west.
14:55Do not engage.
14:59Let him get closer.
15:03Get ready.
15:06Do it.
15:14Take him out.
15:19Clear.
15:20That's the third group in 20 miles.
15:23Keep your eyes peeled.
15:24Could be more of them.
15:35Stand by.
15:42Easy, Riley.
15:46Welcome home.
15:49What's left of it, anyway?
15:52Come on.
15:53Let's keep moving.
15:56Delta-11, this is Stalker-2.
15:58We are en route to your position.
15:59About two clicks south.
16:00Now copy.
16:02Solid copy, Stalker.
16:03He drives.
16:04Recent reports indicate lots of them be moving in that area.
16:07We're on a schedule here, so get that intel like you're now fast.
16:11Roger that.
16:17Clear.
16:22Hey, check it out.
16:24Never thought I'd see this again.
16:28I guess that means we should keep moving on.
16:40Not like you'll remember it, huh?
16:43This place is depressing the hell out of me.
16:45Come on.
16:49You should be passing there, brother.
16:52Mom, you're so missing us.
16:56Let's just step back.
17:03Shit.
17:04Whoa.
17:05Shit.
17:06Shit.
17:07Shit.
17:07Shit.
17:08Shit.
17:10Shit.
17:11Shit.
17:12Shit.
17:15Shit.
17:16Shit.
17:16All right, boy. Just...
17:22Hold up. Sounds like trouble.
17:29Esh, sync up with Riley.
17:36Here we go.
17:39Ok. The best is sync with your camera feed.
17:42I'll guide him. Where do you want to go? He'll follow.
17:46Scan around for a bit.
17:49Ok. I see two tangos ahead.
17:52Let him separate.
17:57The closer one. Take him out first.
18:11Nice. Where'd the other one go?
18:15See if you can get his attention.
18:23There he is. I'll take this one.
18:28All right, Esh. I've Riley searched the houses. We don't want any stragglers.
18:48There he is.
18:48Hang on. I've got a sniper on the balcony.
18:51He's mine.
18:55Ok. Take the guard first.
19:21All clear.
19:22All clear.
19:24Good boy, Riley. Let's move.
19:28Sounds like more inside
19:30Stack up
19:38Riley, search
19:54Clear
19:56On me
20:03We're in position
20:05Okay
20:06Mask on
20:12So I think it's pretty official that Riley is pretty much a badass
20:15Yeah, he's a pretty beast
20:16I'm sure he'll be trending in a few minutes here on Twitter
20:19So we've seen a couple of levels from the game
20:21And we've dug into the story development process
20:22For the single-player campaign
20:23But Eric, what else can we expect?
20:25Well, we have one more thing that we want to show our fans today
20:27Every year at E3, our team puts on a pretty huge production
20:30To unveil the gameplay to the public for the first time
20:34And it's spectacular
20:35So at E3, in our booth right now
20:37There's an environment where hundreds of people will crowd in
20:40It's got a screen that's 122 feet wide
20:43Almost 30 feet tall
20:44And it wraps around people 190 degrees
20:47So you're totally immersed in it
20:48It's got more in common with a theme park ride
20:50Or an IMAX movie theater than most trade show booths
20:53Yeah, it's actually amazing
20:54It's like being inside a Call of Duty game
20:57And most people don't have a 122-foot screen at home
21:01So this video we're going to show you is in a long letterbox format
21:05So you can see all of the environment you would see at the show
21:08And that shape kind of allows you to see more of the gameplay environment
21:11Than you would be able to see when you were just playing the game
21:13So E3 hasn't started yet
21:15This is still being built over at our booth right now
21:17But our fans get to see it first
21:19All right, well, we're going to take a look at that
21:21First look at the booth
21:22Two levels we've already seen from Call of Duty
21:24So lots of all-access here as part of our premiere
21:27So you guys are going to take a look at that
21:29We want to thank everyone for joining us here
21:31Mark, Eric, Infinity Ward, Activision
21:33It's great you guys have done this on behalf of
21:35I, Justine, I'm Jeff Keighley
21:37We'll see you guys at E3
21:38But right now we're going to take that exclusive first look
21:41Behind the scenes at the Call of Duty Ghosts E3 booth
21:45It'll be on display all week long
21:47Thanks for joining us on this live event
21:49I'm Jeff Keighley
21:51Enjoy the rest of the footage
